DO. NOT. TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE! The staff is COMPLETELY unprofessional. They have children running their classrooms and adults that act like children running the front office. CYNTHIA is completely unprofessional and RUDE but you can't tell the director that because that is her mother. She left my child at school and tried to make it sound like it was my fault, and then said they would not be able to get my child on early release days even though they claim that they pick up from her school. Then when I said maybe we need to change daycares she said "Well then YOU pick your child up. and HUNG UP ON ME!!!' On top of that one of the teachers, JESSICA, told my daughter that she needed to hurry up out of the bathroom before she got "written up". What are the kids doing, working a job? It does take time to use the restroom... This place is AWFUL. Think twice before going there even with the late hours it is awful. The other irritating thing is they only take cash or money orders...possible tax evasion maybe? I have NO idea how they have stayed in business this long. Probably that these poor working moms don't have anywhere else to take their kids late and have no other choice. RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!!!!!!!
My 4 year old son only went for a month because it was one thing after the next with them. The first incident happened 2 weeks after he started & it was his b-day. So i sent cupcakes & they forgot to give them out to his class. Then the director tried to over charger me for late fees by trying to convience me i owed $60 when in actuality i only owed $45. The last straw was when i went to drop my son off one morning & there was no there to even open the daycare I had to get someone to watch my son at the last minute & i was late to work to top it off.??
honey bee daycare i would not recommend they have little kids watching little kids i don't know about you but i would want someone who is experienced to watch over my kids when my kids use to go there and i would pick them up i would expect to see the workers interacting with the kids but no all i would see was the workers on the phone or gossiping with each other also my kids would spill food on them selfs and they wouldn't bother to clean them
I love taking my 7th month old daughter to Honey Bee. They are very nice people and the management is wonderful. The daycare makes you feel comfortable to leave your child there and they make sure that the daycare is the safest place around. The things that I liked the most was the fact that not just anybody can pick your child up. They require that the parents have a picture on file of their selves and also authorize the relatives who can pick up their child. Also they require that you initial your name by your child's name each time you sign them in and out. And they also lock their doors after 6'o'clock so that no one can come in after hours unless they are coming to pick up their child late or their child is in night care. That's the thing I appreciate the most. They have night care. It's perfect for me because sometimes I get off late or maybe I just want to work some overtime. We'll I would not have to worry about being charged any extra fees for being late because they close at 12am. I never left my child up there for that long after hours, but it is a blessing to know that they do stay open that long. Honey Bee is also open on Saturdays which helps me get my tasks done in a timely manner. I'm not just writing good things about this daycare to do so, but honestly with the pricing and the times, it is one of the best!
Please do not take your children to this daycare. The management is rude, and the staff is clueless. They go out of their way to make things harder for you. The "director" is a young, inexperienced kid who doesn't know how to run a business. If you try to talk to the owner, you only get the kid. If you want frustration and a headache this is your place. Please don't make the same mistake I did!
Pros: Nice lady in the infant room
Cons: Management, price, parking, service, flexibility etc.
