its a monday, Woke up late, car wouldnt start, what else could possibly go wrong? called all the local shops in kingwood and ended up just getting frusterated even more with the used car salesman approach. They all either lied to me, told me what i wanted to hear, or tried upselling me stuff i dont need to deal with this morning to get to work. I Gave up and continued my search to shops in humble and found Preston's. The young lady that runs the shop didnt give me any bs and i actually felt like she listened and felt my pain. I ended up choosing them and am so glad i did. They had me back on my way to work around lunchtime! I was curious to see how their prices stacked up with my two regular shops in kingwood so i compared and now it seems it is too good to be true! their pricing is alot cheaper than the shops in Kingwood and they actually have a real nice place. I have probably driven past them a hundred times but never even noticed them. I never take the time to write reviews, but told them i would, and I feel that other people should check them out. You wont be sorry!

I have been coming to this shop for about 4 years now and love the service people. They have serviced all of my vehicles a 2002 toyota echo and 2006 tundra everything from brakes to water pumps belts ect.. without complaints unless they where real busy then i may have had a wait time which i guess can be said about any shop you go too. There pricing in my opinion is very good compared to the other shops
around that i used and they have not tried to talk down to my wife or over charge her with "b.s." which makes my life easier. Being that she accually knows something about cars. Keep it up.

I had a noise in my steering wheel almost since i bought the truck. I have taken it to the dealer six or seven times but they kept telling me they couldnt find what was making the noise. The owner at Prestons looked at it for ten minutes or so and fized the problem. He said a bracket was bent and problably messed up from day one. he got the bracket straight and now NO MORE NOISES! The best part about it he said he wouldnt charge me. Still good people out there just have to get lucky to find em.

Me and my son were in Prestons Auto for maintence for 1998 malibu. The technician was going to start performing a coolant flush and found that my lower intake is leaking and making my coolant and oil mix which can cause overheating and damage my engine. I was so happy the tech found this because we had trouble with the vehicle overheating and were relived to find out what was causing the problem. I had my vehicle repaired there and was so happy we caught this problem before it turned into something major that I could not afford.

We are from out of state and found ourselves in a quandary with a broken down vehicle 3 years ago. "Preston's Auto Repair" treated us with courtesy and professionalism. They diagnosed the problem quickly and got us on our way. We were so impressed with their service we now make an annual stop at Preston's to have them check everything over on our way south just to feel safe. Wish we also had a shop like them in Illinois. They built their business on trust....

Our Volvo could not shift out of neutral. Preston's determined a broken piece of plastic in the shift assembly. Pretty routine, the above and beyond part was when the Volvo dealership totally dropped the ball (the part could only be purchased through them) and didn't deliver the part that day as promised. Volvo wouldn't commit to doing so until the next day.

Myra, at Preston's, knew I had to have my car the next day. One of the techs actually went to Volvo and picked up the part and stayed after hours (9pm!) to get the job done.

I am ecstatic to finally call an auto repair place ours. It was such a pleasure working with them. They were fair and kind, very atypical for the industry. I didn't feel like a number and fell I can actually trust them. What a blessing!

I took my SUV to a Kingwood Auto Repair shop off of WLHouston to replace a belt that was squeaking very bad. As it turned out, I received a quote for $1130.00 from the Kingwood repair shop because I had a leaking Power Steering hose, had to replace the belt that was squeaking due to the power steering fluid going on to the belt and flushing the lines. I left there without having my suv repaired and figured I would get another opinion. When I went to pick up the keys, I asked them if they got my quote together of another problem I was having with it, and he flat out told me that because I told them I wasn't having my SUV fixed right now, he didn't put me at a high priority and didn't do the quote. When I got into my car, the volume of my SUV was on full blast so when I turned the car on, it scared me and actually hurt my ears.... Half of me believes they did that because after I rec'd the quote, I told them I would leave it squeaking until after I had our truck repaired (major) which was already at Preston's due to a recommendation from AAA. Since our truck was already there, I called Preston's and asked them to quote me on my SUV. I had already called on the price for the line after the Kingwood shop told me how "expensive" the part for my particular car was. Turns out the price on the part wasn't bad at all. Preston's quoted me the same amount that I researched - and fixed it for $424.00! They are as nice as can be there... and even ordered an additional part just in case I needed and ended up returning it because they didn't need it. I am very grateful for them and they are honest and extremely nice! We are heading back there for additional work on another issue I have. They quoted me on that part ...which is what I previously researched as well. So far they have been very honest and very friendly. I highly recommend them.

I am a 55 year old women that was broke down on 59 (scared that I was going to get hit by a car) I called them and they sent a tow truck to come get me. They were so nice and kind. I know nothing about cars and they girl at the front explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. It was a very good experince for a bad situation.
