I have never had a problem at Vision Mart, that is until today. The employee seemed to be knowledgeable but he was arrogant and rude from the beginning. He kept explaining their 2 for 1 deal but made it sound like there were extra unnecessary fees being added on, and he became even more rude when I asked for clarification. I told the guy I had had enough and then I made a complaint to the store manager about the employee. The manager took no action to address the rude employee so I left. I will not enter that store again ever.

so i got my glasses yesterday after sending them back 5 times and guess what they were o darn crooked i will be sending them back a 6th time i wish i was closer then it wouldnt be such a hassel so after bad cutomer service and 4 trips up there almost 2 months of waiting 60 dollars in gas 20 dollars in upgrade and countless hours of frustration lets hope and pray this time they get it right

so todays date is december 18th I live in plainview 45 minutes from luibbock i first went to get my glases october 28 i had to wait a week to have them mailed to me i get them i cant see went to have them adjusted the guy at the counter said my eyes just needed to adjust after a week of headaches i take them back they did a few minor adjustments still wrong so i go back to my eye doc he said its not the prescription so i go back the lady that helpls me looks at my new baby and says are yall half black i said um no lady we are hispanic so then another lady says what is your last mane pinia um no but thats rude any who they tell me it will be about two hrs so after fighting holiday traffic and dealing with all the hasses i get there at 6 30 p m two hrs later and guess what they dont work i cant see turns out it was a vertical imbalnce so she says i will ups them to you you will get them tomorrow this was a tuesday so its saturday and i am thinking vision mart forgot to mail them i call them and guess what they for got to mail them to me so here is another trip to lbk i had toi get someone to go for me cause as frustrated as i am id rather not step in there and deal with all the ethnically challenged idiots so do your self a favor and go some where else

I haven't been there in over a year...but I was hoping for a better outcome than last time. The last time I was there we had gone in 4 different times to get my sons glasses. His were broken and he couldn't see without them. We tried several times to get his glasses that day. With no luck, we got them 4 days later. This time I was praying it would be different. Nope, didn't happen. We get someone that obviously didn't want to help us!! After finding out what my insurance would pay for and letting him know what type of frames we were looking at...he wasn't very helpful or friendly!! If you don't like your job, leave...I wasted over an hour there, to walk out with nothing. He was very unprofessional and so were several other employees. I ended up going to another eye glass store and they were very helpful and professional...

Hey guys where else can you go In Lubbock and get the value you get from Visionmart? I went there and sure there are long lines and sure you have to wait. They have always been nice to me and let me tell you i am not easy on glasses.

I am writing this review for my mother. She went there on the referral from my Grandmother. She told them in advance that she would be using her Social Security Disability Insurance. After they told her how much her bill would be, she paid it in full for her and her husband. About a week later, they called her and said that she still owed money on her bill.
After my mother asked questions, it appears they did an exam that was not covered under her insurance, and that part of the exam wasn't even needed. She asked them to re run the bill through her Social Security, they claimed they would not and she had to pay cash for the entire bill. The original quote was $125.00 per person, when they were done, they billed her almost $300.00 per person.
Then when her glasses came in, they promised to ship that day. Two weeks later, no one can find the glasses. Now they are offering her a $50.00 gift certificate to help make up the difference.
This place of business is obviously not very professional in any capacity. My grandmother and mother will never set foot in this establishment again, I hope no one else has to go through the hassle this place has put my handicapped mother has had.

warped frame, scratched lens, unprofessional technicians.
eventually got a refund after two tries to get the glasses right both without results. This was my second try for this business. The first time was also unsuccessful, my lenses kept popping out and I also got a refund that time as well. The Dr's next door are great though!

There is a reason why they are busy. If you are not willing to wait in line for the cheapest glasses in town, then I dont know why you shop there. I got buy two for 109 and I've had them for a little over a year and the quality is great. Being a poor college student, I'll stand in line to save myself 50 dollars. It may not be much to you but, it is alot to me. And yes, it is a zoo there, there are hundreds of people that go there everyday because it is the best in town.

I stood around having never been there before for about 30 minutes before I finally stopped someone walking across the room and asked what I needed to do to get a prescription filled. The woman told me that I needed to sign in first. Nice. So I came back that night and listened to the employee's gripe and gossip about everyone's kids running around everywhere (it is a zoo in there). Not very professional in my opinion. The second day I just needed to pick my glasses up, fat chance! I stopped by on my lunch hour and went to the cashier desk where there were two employees just standing around. They directed me to the 'ignored' adjustments line which was being handled by 1 or 2 people which were rarely at the counter anyway. After 2 or 3 other people that were standing in line left the store and after I had wasted 20 minutes of my lunch hour (not moving) I left in a huff. I'm so angry! Do yourself a favor and do not go to Vision Mart. Talking to several other folks I work with they said they have been there and will never go back for similar reasons.

That is a joke. Every time I have gone up there to get glasses the wait has been 1 and 1/2 hour or more.

I took my glasses in for repair, under the warranty. 1 week later I get a call, the frame has to be ordered and it should be here by Monday. The call came in on Friday. Wednesday I call and asked about my glasses, they are not done and the frame has not come in. (Like I don't need my glasses) Now I am told to come in and pick out a different frame, after I ask why I cannot do this. I go there, pick out a new frame and am told the glasses will be ready in 1hour 30 minutes. I go back to the store 4 hours later and after standing in the ignored line of "repairs, adjustments, etc" I am told that my glasses are not ready because there was a chip in them and had to be redone. They only had 4+hours to get my glasses done in which they could have made them twice. Now 6 hours later and they are still not done. Am expecting a call when they are ready for pick up. HA!!!
The worse place I have ever gone to get glasses done. Will never go there again.

Since then, we haven't been anywhere else. I guess, we thought with low prices the quality would be sub-par, but it isn't. They do get really busy and sometimes the wait is long for service. But we get a one year warranty with every purchase since kids tend to be accident-prone. I have had to replace countless pairs and as long as they're under warranty, they never give me a hassle. So for me, that's a huge plus and we always go back.
