Love to splurge on a beer while having the most perfect grilled fish. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the people watching is too fun. They even serve mud bugs! The balckened fish is not too "blackened" it's just right.

Was this review helpful to you?
I like this place, but don't love it. Love is needed when it comes to seafood and they scrap by with just above average fare. Food is above average as are prices. Service was great! I'm too lazy to write a real review on this place. It's above average is all I can sum up. 7.4 outta 10 stars.
Pros: Service, food, prices
Cons: Tiny place, uninspired dishes

If you like seafood this is a great local hangout for it. I have been going to this resurant for years Mike is the only one to keep it going this long. Why , good food and service is easy going and very comfortable. There is nothing they want cook for you if you ask. I go to this place a couple of times a month . During crawfish season it is always fresh and wed. nites are cheap if you eat alot of them . will return many more times. Happy Dining
Pros: great food

Big Fish is one of my favorites. Great food, small "local" charm, unique preparations.
Always some fresh catch on the chalkboard
Don't miss the "Broccoli Slaw" - Yum!
They have boiled Crawfish in season
Go early and wander the unique shops along Main Street in "Old Town" Grapevine.
Great food and a great little town!
Pros: Fresh seafood uniquely prepared. Love the "local" feel
Cons: Service is just mediocre but the food makes up for it.

I was attending a convention at the Gaylord Texan. The food at the hotel was not to my liking. I checked out the restaurants in Grapevine. They were great and so were the prices. I tried Big Fish. If I could I would like to transfer it to my home town of Lafayette, IN. The seafood was excellent. My wife and I ate there four time in the 6 days of the convention. The owner was very friendly and helpful. And so was the wait staff. I love oysters and I had both the fried and raw oysters. Fantastic. I have been to Grapevine twice. Don"t beleive the restaurant was there the first time. You can bet if we go back to Grapevine we will be dinning there several times. Any chance of putting one in Lafayette, IN ( home of Purdue University). We are hungary for good seafood.
Pros: The food is fantastic. No mini portions. The sweet iced tea was the best.

LOVE-LOVE-LOVE!!!!!!!!!!! I'm an old time Grapevine Gal and you just can't find good seafood around here anymore until Big Fish came along. The fried catfish isn't soggy and is so good and fresh! Everything on the menu is first rate and delicious. Fun bar area and atmosphere as well and great place to meet up with friends and visit with fun people.
Pros: Great atmosphere

We love coming here to listen to music and share a dozen oysters. The beer is always cold and the food is great.
