I've stopped by here a few times in the past to browse the menu and for a glass of wine, but tonight was my first time eating (take out). I was skeptical, because the place had seemed fairly empty those few times. I was quite pleased, however, with the quality of the food. The bread had a homemade taste and a nice medium brown crust, without being too hard -- above average for affordable Italian dining, and markedly better than the local Italian chains. The chicken and pasta dish was also well prepared, although the cream sauce was a tad on the rich side -- dieters take caution. The ambience is especially nice, with a romantic, slightly-dim lighting and gorgeous artwork. I suspect the unassuming location may factor into the typically uncrowded dining room. Or, perhaps, the free delivery encourages local diners to stay home.
Pros: Quality Food, Ambience, Not a Chain!
Cons: NonGlamorous Location
