Centennial Pediatrics is excellent
by Maria C.
I thought Dr. Nail was excellent and I will refer him as a pediatrician to my friends and family. He was thorough and spent enough time answering our questions about our son.

Centennial Pediatrics is great, but needs some customer service work....
by Jennifer E.
I love Dr. Nail, but the wait time to talk to anyone at all is ridiculous. I just spent 15 minutes on hold, just to be told I needed to talk to someone in another department. The staff is very friendly but they seriously need to work on the amount of time you spend on hold, and how quickly the people get back to you when you leave a message.

Centennial Pediatrics is NOT the place I thought it was!
by Shelby L.
My 20 month old son denied service... I picked him up from his day school @ 4:30pm & was greated with him covered with a rash from head to toe & diarrhea..Tried to call doctors office to speak to nurse, or to see if someone could see him, but the office staff had shut the phones off early. So I went up there & was told, since we didn't have an appointment we needed to go to an afterhours clinic, or to call the nurse line, We were right there! A nurse couldn't spare 1 minute of her time to just look @ the rash?? That is not the kind of treatment/care I am looking for. Dr Newton's nurse's and office staff is so unfriendly everytime we come in, we wait at the front sign in desk until they are finished goofing around and talking and laughing together before we are helped, I have put up with this because I do like him as a doctor, but not enough to put up with this. So today Centennial Pediatrics or Dr Newton lost a patient. I hope you have better experiences in a time of need.. To add.. I have seen Dr Nail on the weekend at this office, and DID NOT LIKE HIM AT ALL!!! He argued with me that my son did not have 102 fever for 3 days. Umm.. I think I know.. I his mother! That visit was on a Saturday, and talk about a waist of a copay! So, if you do choose to take your child here, any doctor but him. Unless, you lke to argue with your doctors, and be talked to like you are an idiot!

Centennial Pediatrics is Wonderful!!
by Jennifer S.
The whole office staff are so helpful, wonderful and kind. Dr. Newton is our doctor and he is very helpful, kind, and very patient and attentive to everything you may need. We have also seen the nurse practitioner and she was wonderful too. If you leave a message for the nurse, they are very prompt in calling you back. When they do call you back, they can answer all your questions and put your mind at ease.

Centennial Pediatrics is the best Pediatric team in DFW
by Tracy C.
Wonderful people who do a wonderful job of managing the office. My daughter has been seeing Dr. Guetersloh since she was born. I have not once had to wait more than 5 minutes past my appointment time to be put in a room. Same day appointments are not an issue. And efficiency isn't even the best part of the story! These are warm and caring people with a passion for helping children and parents. I am so grateful for the friend who referred me to Dr. Guetersloh.

Great, great, great!
by Liana M.
Hands-down, the best pediatric health office in the Frisco area that we've found! Dr. Nail is down-to-earth and is open to natural remedies rather than antibiotics, and Nurse Debbie is always great with the kids. Also nice that the other docs are available to see our children in case our doctor isn't available. Always able to get a same-day appointment if needed - they're very flexible!

Newton Christopher Md - Centennial Pediatrics is fantastic!
by C M.
Dr. Newton is thorough, down to earth, and does not unnecessarily prescribe antibiotics. Further, he has a PhD in addition to his MD, so he is probably more in tune with research than the average pediatrician. I also like the nurse's and office ladies.

Great care at Centennial Pediatrics
by M K.
Dr. Guetersloh has been our pediatrician since our first child was born, nearly 8 years ago, and we have always been pleased with the care we've received. Both of my boys have special needs, and I've found the understanding and guidance from the entire staff to be excellent. I will say that on one sick visit where Dr. Guetersloh was not availalbe, and we saw Dr. Nail, that I also found it difficult to speak my word. There was a medical student attending our visit, and Dr. Nail preached to us while apparently trying to educate the student. I found it to be mildy annoying, but in our nearly 8 years of attending this practice, we've had visits with all three doctors, and have found them all to be very kind, compassionate, and attentive. I would recommend this practice strongly. I only give this one mildly-negative comment here since Diana C. brought up a similar complaint and no else has been able to support her opinion.

best docs
by Amber A.
Diana C must have taken something Dr Nail said personally. I have been using Dr Nail for 3 years. When my daughter was 15 months she was very sick. Dr Nail figured it out very fast and he and his nurses were very nice and helpful. She had to be at Children's for 13 days and have 2 surgeries, MRI, and PIC line. Dr Nail and his office called at least every other day. And when you call the nurses line they call back very quick and are very nice even when you ask silly questions. This office is world class and I could not be happier. Plus my husband loves him because Dr Nail was an engineer before he became a ped, MD.

Dr. Gutersloh is the best!
by Anonymous
We've been taking our 9 week old to Dr. Chad and can not express enough how wonderful he is. He's very gentle with our daughter, plays with her during checkups, and just overall seems to enjoy his job! He has such a wonderful bed side manner about him and has no problem answering the hundreds of questions we ask him (even the dumb new parent questions). We truly appreciate his kindness and feel so comfortable with him. We have been recommeding him to everyone!

Dr. Newton & his staff
by Chelle C.
I wanted to write this because I really stressed over choosing a ped. My son is a preemie and has many complicated health issues. Dr. Newton and his nurse Sabrina have been unbelievable. I heard great things about him, but he far exceeded my expectations. My son had to go to ICU and someone from the office has called everyday! Even the staff here at Children's were impressed. Dr. Newton has called us on our cell phones to check on us as well. We have worked with tons of docs due to our situation and Dr. Newton ranks right at the top.

My husband and I interviewed several pediatricians before choosing this group -- but what really swayed us was the nurses at the hospital where our son would be born. They told us that the doctors from this group are attentive and make punctual visits to the newborns, ensuring that the mom and child can both go home together!
Our son is almost five now and he has had some regular childhood ailments (ear infections, etc.) It is so easy to deal with the staff at Centennial -- they are so helpful and courteous. Even though our son hates "shots," he loves going there...

Dr. Nail ROCKS!
by Ashley L.
I have no clue what Diana C. is saying, either. I love Dr. Nail! I have been an employee at Children's Medical Center for 7 years. Dr. Nail did his residency there, including being a chief resident, and he knows his stuff! When I was pregnant with my first child, I can't tell you how many CMC employees asked where I lived and when I said "Frisco", said, "You have GOT to get Richard Nail as your pediatrician!!" Thank God he had openings for infants!! We love Dr. Nail!

Dr. Newton is the BEST!!
by Suzanne M.
Dr. Newton has been taking care of my 2boys, ages 11 and 7 for 8 years, and I could not ask for a better doctor. He is so great with the boys and I always know they will get the best care from him. My sons love him too, he always makes them feel very comfortable.

Dr. Nail is world class!
by Nathan S.
I'm not sure what Diana C is talking about, but we have Dr. Nail for our 3 boys and can't be more satisfied and blessed that he is our Pediatrician. It's refreshing to have a doctor who uses caution when prescribing anti-biotics for any willy-nilly illness that comes along. He speaks to you on your level and does not pull punches. I'll never forget when our 4 month old was in the emergency room and he personaly came out to administer care. I can't tell you how comforting that was because he was OUR doctor and not some random ER Doc.
This town is frought with spoiled parents and their children. It's my estimation that if he said a child is obese, the child is very overweight and in danger of going down a bad road. You can't go wrong with this practice, if you have an oportunity to get them for your children, do not hesitate.

We Could Not Have Done It Without Dr. Newton
by Patricia L.
Our son has had a multitude of health issues and Dr. Newton has been an absolute God send. Dr. Newton and his staff are kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable. They manage to "fit us in" anytime we have needed it. We would not even consider going to someone other than Dr. Newton.

All Great Here!!!
by Amy D.
We've been going to Dr. Newton since my first (of three) was born 5 years ago. We've recently moved and had a hard time finding a pediatrician who can come anywhere close to Newton, Nail and Geutersloh! Over our time there, we saw all three doctors repeatedly. While their personalities are very different, they are all wonderful, caring and very personable doctors with an incredible bedside manor. I've never once left their office with anything but a great experience and all 3 of my children LOVE going to the doctor! The nurses and staff there are the BEST!!!! They all know us by name immediatley when we walk in. They really paved the way for me to have an easy time getting my kiddos in and out of all visits! I am forever indebted to them for their kindness, generosity and friendship. We miss them terribly!

No tact Doctor
by diana c.
We have been going to Dr nail for over a year now with our five children, and have found it difficult to talk to him as he talks "at me" , and not "to me". He told me on a well check up that my child was overweight as he gained 11 pounds in a year. This child has grown close to 3 inches taller and has grown longer since his last check up!

The staff here is wonderful!
If you are worried about your child, they really take time to help you and get your child into the office as soon as possible. It's great to know that there is a pediatrics office that cares.
