Reviews for Monica's Aca Y Alla Restaurant

Ratings_icons Monica's Aca Y Alla Restaurant is great fun

This restaurant is SO much fun!! The food was pretty good, but the atmosphere couldn't be better. Conga lines around the dining room and a live mariachi band set the scene for a festive night out!

Had a great time here eating for my Bacchelorette party. Great food and live music. It's a fun place to go and have margaritas. They had a Congo line going through the restaurant and were giving free tequila shots.

Ratings_icons Nice Decor, Mediocre Food

Jennifer M. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,586

Here's another example of a pretty restaurant with bad food. During lunch, it's popular with the downtown business crowd. This food is so bland it really shouldn't be called Tex-Mex, with the cream sauces and "fusion" side dishes. With so many places in Dallas with good authentic Tex-Mex, don't waste your time here.

Ratings_icons One of Deep Ellum's best restaurants!

Rebecca B. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,100

Monica's Aca Y Alla in the Deep Ellum area of Dallas is super Tex-Mex in a unique setting. The decorations are a feast for the eyes, the diners are fun to watch as it draws from every walk of life, the food is delicious and the service is attentive. The Mexican lasagna is my favorite and I have a hard time choosing another menu item! Live music and entertainment is offered in the evenings, and Deep Ellum is fun to roam before and/or after dinner.
