I was looking to replace carpet in a rental home, and went to Texas Floors, after seeing one of their ads. Their showroom is huge and well laid out, with many samples. I told the saleman what I wanted to do and he took me to my choices. There was a decent selection of cheap carpet (no one puts in expensive carpet in a rental) and the store provided free estimates at the property. The salesman arrived on time as did the installers. The only negative was that the installers did not vacuum before and after laying down the carpet. I had them rest for a few minutes while I vacuumed the slab where the dirt from the old carpet lay. I just don't understand how anyone could lay clean carpet down on a dirty floor!
PROS: Good salesmen, punctual and knowledgeble; good prices
CONS: installers did not vacuum before and after installation
