Sandy and Kathy are some of the most professional event planners that I have worked with. I am a florist in Dallas and have had only great experiences with them. When I first met them I didn't know anything about them. I did a little investigating and found every event professional that had worked with them had the same positive feedback. In this industry there are some vendors that have very limited experience. This group of ladies are exceptional and a pleasure to work with.

Kathy and Sandy did a wonderful job with our wedding. They are efficient, organized, and respectful of your wishes. Despite the other review's opinion that they are evil, I firmly believe that they are worthy of the five-star world class rating. They are both professionally and personally valued by me and my family. They will absolutely put together an amazing event to appropriately commemorate life's most important moments. I highly recommend them.

I was at an event that The Current Event planned & hosted in Amarillo, Texas on 10/13/07...they hosted a wedding-day-brunch at a shooting range called "bullets & brunch"...they had a bunch of crates of LIVE pigeons and this guy with the event company would grab a pigeon and throw it in the air and someone would shoot it. Most of the barbaric guests who chose to shoot at the live birds were having a difficult time hitting them so the guy with The Current Event started pulling out the birds' wing feathers, and he would spin
the birds around in a circle to disorient the poor birds and THEN he would throw it in the air and the monsters would shoot. It was horrible. The worst part was that most of the pigeons didn't die right away, you could see them flopping around on the ground. Is THIS what event planning is all about? The people, Kathleen Ellis and Sandra Hollander of The Current Event are evil, animal abusing monsters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
