Sage Salon

I had Brandi from Sage Salon do my wedding hair updo and she did a marvelous job! My hair is curly and I wanted something elegant yet natural looking. She understood me perfectly and I had lots of compliments on my updo at the wedding. Brandi is great to work with and I highly recommend her!

I am relatively new to town and had been looking for a new salon. I didn't like the idea of finding a new stylist as I had been with the same person for 10 years back home. So, while I was 8 months pregnant I tried a new girl and a new salon. I booked an appt. with Katherine, who happened to be the new addition at the salon. Anyway, you get the idea, I was nervous! Katherine eased my fears and did a great job on my cut and color. I would definately pass the word on to others. The only negatives I have about the salon is that I wish they had other services so you get get everything in one fell swoop! Book an appt with her now... you won't be disappointed.

I love Sage Salon! After several years of bouncing around different salons in town, I found Sage and have been with them for 4 years now. I have seen several of the stylists over the years and my experience and service has always been consistent and great. Sage has made some changes recently, but definitely for the best. I highly recommend this wonderful salon!

It should always be a pleasant experience that one looks forward to when he/she goes to the hair salon. For me, getting my hair done at Sage Salon was an experience I choose to not have again. The people there are very unfriendly and the quality of their work leaves something to be desired. The stylist who cut my hair gave me the impression that she had much better things to do than to be styling my hair. I know that the ownership has changed and I believe that the last owner had more management experience to make the client feel comfortable and welcome.

I do not recommend Sage Salon. There are many other salons that have better stylists and better ambience.

i had pretty high expectations for sage (having read all of the reviews online before going) which might help explain why i was so disappointed when i left. while my stylist was friendy, she spent less than a minute discussing my style/color options before getting to work and basically gave me a run-in-the-mill trim and highlight job for $200 plus. highlights, mind you, that were not the color i asked for, but were okay looking regardless. i've been to many salons in the austin area, and enjoy spending money on professional hair services, but i would rate all of the other salons i've been to above sage in terms of ambiance and customer service. salons i prefer include (avant, bella, pink, wet, jackson ruiz and method) the staff at sage was nice, but slightly unprofessional and the salon itself was quaint, but a little on the dirty side. i guess what i'm trying to say is that it wasn't bad, it was just very, very , very average.
