I am new to Central Texas gardening, actually gardening in the South in general. I found a bunch of Japanese Scarab Beetle grubs in my yard. Turns out it's a problem all over the South. I called The Great Outdoors to ask what was going on. The sales person answered all of my questions and soothed my concerns, all without me ever having to step foot in the store. I am their new best customer. These people know their business, and they give great customer service! If you need gardening stuff, I'd call them first, then drive right on over. Happy growing!

I love plants and I find this to be a wonderful nursery. They have a really good selection of indoor and outdoor plants and herbs. They have native and tropical plants. They also carry some gardening supplies, sprays, and decorations.

I went here expecting a regular, old nursery and I was pleasantly surprised. We had so much fun! The big waterfall and koi ponds are lovely. They carry so many different varieties of plants. They also carry decorative items. I actually bought my chiminea from here.
