El Fenix Famous Mexican Rstrnt

El Fenix is a good place to go to on a budget. I love Mexican food and of the entire place I have ate that serve Mexican food, they have some of the best chips and salsa around. Depending on what is ordered the food is good as well. I would recommend El Fenix to anyone but, of course everyone doesn't have the same taste in food.

If you can't get to the downtown location, try this site. Everything is fresh and homemade. The flour tortillas are light and fluffy and delicious. The carne asada is tender and spicy.

This resturant is a very good place to eat mexican food. The resturant is also very clean. El Fenix also has a great atmosphere. When my family is there, we always have a really good time!

I have grown up on El Fenix...
In my childhood, we used to drive to downtown Dallas to the first location or over to this Casa Linda location... Now, we are able to just go to the Mesquite location. Although, I have to say I like the ambience of this Casa Linda location better...

It is the quintessential Dallas mexican restaurant with consistent food across all locations... Chips are made from scratch and are light and served warm and they are perfect with the hot sauce. Service is great and even if you ask for water with your meal, expect that they will bring you carafe of water so that you don't run out. They have the ability to host large parties here.

Come try it out.

Pros: Wens. special enchilada plate 5.95 and great service.
Cons: There may be a line at peak times on Wens.
