Great Quality for steaks and Wine! The lobster bisque is the best I have ever tasted! We have gone many times and the food is consistently good! The atmosphere is great and the wine is awesome! The staff is great they are well educated on wine and all the food on the menu!

This is the best restaurant in Dallas. I have never had such wonderful steak and lobster. Everything was superior here, including the wonderful service. It is VERY pricey but, to me, well worth the once-a-year splurge. I've never understood the location, but I've also never let it stop me.

This is one of the best places in Dallas to have an upscale steak dinner. You can have a private party in a small wine room. They have a cigar room and a huge wine selection on the menu.

When I think of STEAK Pappas comes to the forefront of my mind!.... thick, juicy, top quality beef that is full with flavor yet not a mouthful of gristly fat like some cheaper steak places. \r
\r
Always cooked as you order, and the service is IMPECCABLE including the gargantuan, dizzying wine list!!! Be impressed but don't expect a quiet meal! This place gets rowdy and loud with close quarters and big corporate drunkin' shin digs. Location kind of blows unless you like the questionable surrounding area of liquor stores and strip clubs. It is still worth going AT LEAST ONCE!!!!!!!\r

A night to be remembered. I have eaten at steakhouses in many states and overseas, and Pappas is the best I have had. The steak just melted in my mouth. The appetizers were amazing (I tried the crab cakes, mac and cheese bake with lobster, and bacon wrapped scallops). Dessert was unique and delicious as well. In addition to the great food and infinite drink list, the service was outstanding. They treated me like I was the only guest in there even though they were packed. My wine glass never got below half before it was topped off and the manager took time to greet us and chat a bit with us. The best steakhouse I have ever been to.

Pros: appitizers were outstanding

Cons: a 100 page wine list can be taken as good or bad

The steaks and service are excellent.

The steaks and service are excellent.

Pros: Good steaks and side dishes

Cons: Can be a bit pricey

Great by all standards. The reception, the ambiance, the service, the food. Pappas Bros is one of the very few that writes the standard. Many a restaurant can learn quite a bit from this wonderfully managed establishment. Could get expensive when choosing from the extensive wine list, but not necessarily if you simply choose a moderate bottle. The Lobster Bisque, yummm, THE Steak (NY Strip is our favorite), The Desert, can u say MOON-PIE (enough for four). There is little that this place does wrong. HIGHLY RECOMENDED. Have been over a dozen times and cannot find a fault. Can't wait to go back again!

Pros: FOOD, SERVICE, ATMOSPHERE, FOOD, SERVICE, ATMOSPHERE, REPEAT...

Their reputation as the best steakhouse in town is well-deserved. Elegant without being fussy or uptight, the service was understated but attentive and the food...WOW. The fried oyster appetizer was the best oysters I've ever had and the ribeye steak (this is Texas, and that's our steak) was perfection

My wife and I have ventured to most steakhouses out there and we have concluded that Pappas serves our favorite steak, hands down. The flavor is unsurpassed. The bisque is always favored by my wife and their salad with avocado ranch is always tasty. The au gratin potatoes are probably our favorite side. For dessert, don't miss their gooey pecan pie. The atmosphere is high end and you can dress up or down to your liking. Pappas is one of our fine dining staples.

This has to be one of the top 3 steakhouses in Dallas. I've eaten at Pappas Bros on several occasions and it has never disappointed. The service is good, the wine selection is decent. The sides are wonderful and I can't say enough about the steaks. Check it out!!

This restaurant is truly one of the best in the US. The fried oysters are amazing and I don't like fried oysters, and so is the lobster bisque. The wait staff is excellent and the wait for a table with a reservation is very acceptable. Amazing wine list, although a bit pricey and the steaks are awesome. I've eaten here many times and none of the people I've been with had anything but positive comments about the food. This place could break the bank, it's not cheap so plan ahead so you can enjoy everything they offer.

Pappas Bros. is a lovely place to eat, and their filet is better than any I've tried (I've tried many but not all in Dallas). The food is deadly, of course, but great if you're seeking to indulge. They butter their steaks, which is fine by me because butter is so delicious. And if anything is wrong, they have always seemed eager to make it right. Sometimes they overcook, for example, but they will sweep the offending cut away and promptly replace it. The creme brulee is wonderful and covered with berries. The cheesecake is also a standout. The Caesar salad is very nice as well, but I haven't developed a fondness for any of the sides although I have tried most. Overall, I would say that dinner is well worth the money for a special occasion (I got enaged here not long ago), or it can brighten up a Tuesday.

Pros: food is delicious; prices are reasonable

Cons: valet parking; I've probably shaved a few years off my life by coming here

.

my last visit here was kind of a letdown; i was served a very fatty piece of veal that i could not even cut through, and the replacement chop was subsequently undercooked. i realize that most people don't go to high end steakhouses for their health, but the food here is extremely rich in comparison to other similar establishments. even without the undercooked veal i still say this place is overrated and overpriced.

Pros: professional service & amazing wine list

Cons: VERY rich food (as steakhouses go)

.

This place is phenomenal! They understand quality service and perfect the execution. Then when comparing the pricing to other highly rated steakhouses, this is by far teh best value and experience for any steakhouse in Dallas.

Pappas Brothers Steakhouse is the best in fine dining and quality. I'm a steak eater and have dined at many of the finest Dallas restaurants from Bobs to Ruth Chris. Pappas is the King. Service is excellant and the food is outstanding. It is a bit costly but it is well worth your time.

I went for my first time about a month ago (Oct 2002), and I thought the food was excellent. The service was excellent as well. My glass never got empty, and I wasn't bothered too much either. Everyone was polite, and treated us like royalty. Excellent atmosphere. Just a little pricey, but worth it!
