Dr. Callan helped me with one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make. My baby had been with me for over 13 years but her health had suffered lately and deep down I knew that the time had come. She helped me more than she will ever know. While I wish Gracie was still here, I know that she is in a better place. Dr. Callan was so understanding and so caring that I had to write and let everyone know how great they all are at I-20. I still have Mitsy so I will always be back to see you all.
I felt compelled to write a testimoney for the great care and compassion you showed to me and my Wanda. We have been seeing you for routine vaccinations and the occasional emergency for years but when Wanda got cancer, your staff, in my opinion, went well above and beyond any expectation I might have had. Medicines were available as soon as I needed them and Dr. Doherty would call us from time to time to check up on Wanda.
When Wanda took a turn for the worse, I was able to bring her in the same day and everyone cared for her as much as I did. It was very touching. Your staff sent a card to my home with more than just signatures. They wrote paragraphs about the joy of treating Wanda and even talked about her quirks and personality. It meant so much to me.
Your team truly cares and you have done more than just treat Wanda, you have treated my entire family.
My poor pup Hendrix vomited 4 times the past night so i asked my wife if she thought we should take him to the emergency room. It was already late, about midnight, but i thought i would look up a 24 hour place close by, so i did. I found one close by in Arlington and gave it a ring. From the instant the receptionist answered, I was hooked. Not only was she informative but she showed concern and asked for my pups symptoms. 20 mins later we were there and they were not only nice but wide awake and very friendly people. About 30 mins later our dog was diagnosed, given medication, and given a shot. Our doctor didnt try to make us take all these unecessary exams that could've been pricey, instead she listened to us about or dogs symptoms and tested our dog for heartworms and poof, problem found. With a pretty easy solution, we left there thankful for the money left in our wallets and most importantly our pups well being! This place is amazing. I cant stop thinking about it. On top of all that for-mentioned, the place is very beautiful. Made my family feel like VIP's. Thank You To ALL the Staff, Doctors and Receptionist!
I have been going to I 20 for years with my dog Francisco. They have always been fantastic and very caring. Dr. Welch and Dr. Doherty saved his life last year after he ate a sock. We will be forever grateful to them for their love and concern and skill. You have a loyal client forever.
We had a dog, Casey, who was like a child to us. She had Cushing's Disease. Another vet never found her problem, but when we took her to I-20, Dr. Hassler found out the problem quickly. She lived much longer than we all expected and we will always be thankful for the staff at I-20. One night on vacation, we drove all night to get Casey to I-20 after stopping at another Vet along the way to make sure she was stabilized. We called I 20 and they were waiting for us. She made it through that episode of her disease. Recently, we adopted a rescue dog which had stayed in a puppy mill in a cage for 3 yrs. Dr. Cindi Welch and the staff have been wonderful. Bella Bliss is part of our family and we're so thankful for the care at I-20. I would, also, like to mention Troy who has been very helpful.....And tomorrow, Bella Bliss is having her teeth cleaned by Dr. Bonnie Bloom (July 14, 2010). I know she will give good caring service to Bella. Thank you, I-20, for all your help. You all are the best!
I first went to I-20 medical center when my regular vet said it was time to put Molly down. I was fortunate enough to see Dr. Welch and am happy to say that almost 1 year later and Molly is still part of our family. Dr. Welch and Troy are just THE BEST! Molly also had her teeth cleaned by Dr. Bloom who is just the best dentist in the business. I see no reason to go back to my old vet. Even the receptionist's at I-20 are friendly and do their best to keep things running smoothly. My other dog Lucy has been seen at the I-20 eye clinic and again, Dr. Paulsen and Dr. Beaumont are just the best. What I find is that the integrity of this hospital is around the best care for my pet. My pets will all now be seen at I-20!
I jsut wanted to thank everyone at I-20 Animal Hospital for the last ten years of taking care of my crew. Through happy times and sad ones you have never failed to deliver my family the best of service and care. We have laughed and cried together and I want you all to know how much we appreciate your being there for us and our pets. I drive over an hour so convenience is not why we see you but rather the way your staff always makes us feel.
Patients forever,
Larry W.

My dog was having intestinal/stomach problems for over three months. I took her to two different vets with no success. I had a friend recommend I-20 as being the best so i showed up there with Mitsy in hand. Dr. Welch did an ultrasound and diagnosed the problem within an hour. We started treatment that day and three weeks later she has not a a single episode or problem. I will always be grateful to Dr. Welch for literally saving my "child".

I just took my cat to I 20 for a cleaning with Dr. Bloom. She is like a human dentist but for animals. I think that is all she does....teeth and dentistry. Her prices were over $100 cheaper for a cleaning than was my previous vet. And my cat didn't come back all stressed out. When i went back to check on her (and they didn't know I was coming) Jessica was holding her and talking to her. I just about cried. I put my baby in exactly the right hands.

I have a Yorkie that i adore. He has had a stomach problem for over a year that three different vets have looked at and not had a clue as to what he problem was. Dr. Roquett solved the mystery in less than an hour. One minor surgery later and my baby his is old self. He acts like he is a puppy again. I can't thank Dr. Roquett enough for helping me. Also, cheers to all the people there for being so friendly.
I recently took my cat into the emergency clinic and was very impressed with the hospital. It was cleaner and nicer than the human one i went to recently. Dr. Welch found the problem even though my two regular vets were beside themselves trying to figure out what was wrong with Sammy. Everyone there was outstanding. Even the price was less than my regular doctor. i will use them again.
k.s.
I recently had to bring Ace in to see Dr. Welch, he was having terrible diahrrea, his eyes were swollen and red and he looked like he was uncomfortable and he was itching. As it turns out he was having allergies. Dr. Welch was wonderfull to us, she even had the assistant call and check on him the next day, thats better than my doctors office. The receptionist even helped me out to the car with the food when we were done. THEY ARE GREAT!!!!
I work nights and get home around 3am. Of course the first thing I gotta do is take my dogs for a walk. We live by River Legacy Park so the dogs are always sniffing out dead critters. Yea nasty. Well, there was this little white thing they found and I thought it was a dead possum or rat. I walked up and saw it was about a 5 week old kitten. It looked dead and smelled dead. Then it made a sad little meow. I freaked, ran inside and grabbed a towel to wrap it in. I knew the poor little guy was suffering horribly but didn't know what to do. I called them and they let me bring the little guy up there to be put down and stop his suffering FOR FREE. My heart just broke for this little baby. They didn't have to do that. Everyone's in business to make money, but they did this out of kindness. THANK YOU to whoever was working on 08/29/08 at around 4am and sorry for getting so upset, but it just bothered me so much to see that. And if any of my guys need emergency care (God I hope that never happens) I would use you guys in a heartbeat!
I use the I-20 Clinic because they are close to home and are always open. They also have staff & doctors to treat other animals - they were great with my cat (who was not feeling well and DOES NOT like people) and gave great care to my rabbit, Coco, who unfortunately had to be put to sleep last week. Dr. Garza and the staff were very thorough and explained the details to me very clearly. They were very caring and considerate during this very difficult time for me. I will continue to use them for my cat, plus any other pets that I may get in the future. Also, their prices on Science Diet and Frontline are very comparable to other stores.
I am so thankful to I-20 Animal Center for the caring and professional service my dog Simon received. I have been to this clinic several times in the past for routine exams and their service always exceeded my expectations. When my dog needed emergency care in the middle of the night I knew exactly where to go. The vets and staff were amazing. My dog is doing great and had no problems since. Thanks to everybody for your help...

Dr. Garza was incredibly helpful and informative. I feel that she went beyond what her job required in the care and concern for my pet. Although he ended up having to be put to sleep, I appreciate everything that was done in the care of my cat, as well as the genuine concern for myself.
I took Jake to I20 for a unique problem. I thought my dog was losing it's colon. I rushed him over to have Dr. Duncan evaluate his condition. to my relief, Jake had swallowed a sewing needle and it was lodged in his lower intestine. she removed it and laughed because this wasn't the first one she had seen. I am grateful for the staff at I20 and particularly the great doctors.
I took my cockers to I-20 for several years. My Missy loved her vet and the feeling was mutual. I saw the same wonderful lady everytime and she saw Missy through to the end with her heart condition. Every time Missy came in she put her to the front of the line and got down on the floor with her and talked to her and soothed her apprehensions away. She did everythign she could to keep the price down with all my cockers and treated them all with love. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
I had a puppy with Parvo who was on the brink of death because my original vet didn't think it was necessary to test for Parvo. He was given a 10% chance of making it. 5 days later after lots of help and constant monitoring from the staff, he pulled through. The only downfall was it was about $1600 and any other vet would have been less, but it was worth it to keep my dog alive.
This animal medical center is not only efficient, but they are open late. This can be a big thing considering you never know when your pet will get sick.
My wife and I found a kitten in our yard, and he was obviously ill. It was late in the evening, and we couldn't find any place to go except the I-20 Animal Medical Center. They treated my wife and I with respect, and our little kitten was treated and better in no time.
The staff was caring and knowlegeable: two things that are very important for an animal clinic.
PROS: great staff, open late
CONS: costly

I-20 is a great 24 hour animal hospital. I used to take my dogs there but now I go to another vet because I-20 is a little bit to pricey. I still use them for emergency care and they do a great job.
PROS: quality care, 24 hours
CONS: pricey

They have the best staff when you have a minor emergency with your animal. They were fast, friendly, and very supportive. They were great with my dog and she was back on her feet fast. They were knowledgable and very professional.

This Animal hospital is pretty much open all the time which is great if you have a serious need in the middle of the night. Their prices are a little higher than other places, but the convenient hours are worth a little more. The staff has always been great when we have been there. The facility is also very clean and nice. Overall great hospital.

My parents took their very sick cat to this animal hospital and unfortunately had to put her down. The staff here treated their cat like family and treated my mom and dad with the utmost care in such a sad situation. I would highly recommend the place. It is costly, but most animal care it. What a great staff!

I-20 Animal Medical Center is a vet, boarding center and a wonderful emergency vet. This is the nearest emergency vet to my home and we had to use them last year when our dog needed emergency attention from a vet. I was so happy to see one that was open 24 hours. The staff was very friendly and warm (even in the wee hours of the morning) and the vet reassured us that everythign was going to be ok and he worked fast to help our dog. I was impressed at how clean the office was (considering they deal with animals 24/7). The price was a little high but it was an emergency and at the time we would have paid anything for our dog. The parking was good and I would recommend them to anyone that needs a ver in that area or who needs a vet in an emergency.
PROS: 24 hour service
CONS: Price a little high

I have used this Animal Hospital a few times over the years due to emergencies. Each time I was immensely Thankful that there was a Vet open 24 hours a Day!
This Facility really is top notch! It is always extremely Clean and the Staff if GREAT! Everything is really State of the Art....they use the newest technology and are Incredibly Knowledgable.
Although I wish I could use them as my full time vet, they really are quite pricey. So I use another vet for regular check-ups and shots. But, in an emergency I would not hesitate bringing any of my pets to the I-20 Medical Center. Not only do you get 24 hr care of your pet, you get the Very Best Care there is.
PROS: State of the Art Facilities, Friendly Knowlegable Staff
CONS: Kinda Pricey

This place is sleek, modern and has all the bells/whistles...my cat's eye doc is here! He's the only one in the area, and you do pay a premium to see him and the staff docs here, but they're awesome in an emergency or specialty situation.
PROS: Hours of operation, modern vet-med
CONS: cost

A friendly and caring place when a emergency rose and a pet had to be taken here. They were gently and efficient when it turned out to be more serious than we thought. It helps that it open 24 hours as like kids pets don't choose only day time to have an emergency.
PROS: open 24 hours
CONS:
