Have been using this dry cleaners for 3 years. My spouse took the dry cleaning to them every week for 36 months. He went to pick up 5 shirts and a silk blazer. The woman at the counter stated they were just lost. She did state she would call the plant where they were cleaned and then reported back to me that items were just gone!
Silber Cleaners did not know what happened to the items of clothing. We contacted them on several occasions and was told they would give us $300. The shirts alone were worth that amount and the silk blazer was a Versace silk blazer that is one of a kind. The woman stated that we should not have been bringing a designer jacket to a $2.79 cent cleaner. The issue was not the cost it the blazer and shirts or that they had been worn previously, the issue was why did they lose the items.
The woman's last comment to me was they would not give anymore $ for the lost items, we could just sue them. She refused to give me the name of the plant where the items supposedly were taken for cleaning. She called later that afternoon giving me the name of the plant so I could go to the plant and ask about my items, but I decided it was not safe for me to go to that part of town.
Very poor customer service for a loyal customer of 3 years.
