Texas Hair Team

I've been going to Jeannie for about 2 years now and I have loved everything she has done to my hair. I get compliments all the time on the color and cut. She also cuts my 15 year old son and 17 year old daughter's hair and makes them look great. The prices are reasonable and they have rewards cards for cuts and colors. Additionally, because the majority of their business it walk-in, I have always been able to call and make an appointment for the same day; I never have to wait.

The lady who cut my hair did a good job doing what I wanted. Unfortunately, she was very rude with the insults she was saying about my hair making me feel insecure. She made fun of my eyebrows and just wasn't very nice at all.

I've been going to Texas Hair Team in Spring (off cypresswood & 45) for YEARS now, and have not had any problems EVER. The girls there are very nice & sociable as well as their receptionist who greets everyone right when they walk in. I love to change up my hair and try lots of different things. I've gotten Hilights, color, treatments, shine glosees, hair cuts, anything & everything you can imagine and have walked out happy every time :) I'm very pleased with my experiences & would recommend them to anyone!!
***AND they are open 7 days a week and take both appointments & walk-ins which is good for a last minute " I wanna get my hair done today" decision!

I just want tell everyone @Texas Hair Team, Thank You! You guys have always done a good Job on my family and I. I really like the fact that everyone knows use when we come in. I sent a friend from work and she was very pleased as well. I definitely would recommend them to anyone.

I had a VERY bad experience as well. Long story short, I was short on time and needed to have my hair re-permed. I was attending my husbands company Christmas party and wanted to look good for him. During my perm I noticed a few things that the "girl" was doing differently than my regular hair stylist. (who is currently in the process of trying to repair my fried hair!) The rods were hanging down, not tight on my head, the back of my neck was starting to itch and the itch turned into a very painful burning sensation. After leaving the solution and rods in my hair long enough for her to style and do her own hair, we went to the sink and she rinsed out my hair. I told her that my neck was burning but she told me I was okay and that she was almost done. Needless to say I had a chemical burn on the back of my neck and down my back! My hair is beyond fried, it's breaking OFF!! I did 3 different hot oil treatments on my hair until I could get in to see my regular stylist. I drive almost an hour to see her and I will never go to anyone else again. I looked like a homeless person with a BCBG dress on at my husbands company Christmas party. Did I mention that the perm didn't even take and my hair looked like dried straw? Did I mention that my husband works for Exxon Mobil???? It wasn't just any Christmas party and I was supposed to be the prize on my husbands arm. Thanks THT for F'ing up my hair!

I visit Texas Hair team 2920 Spring, Cypress for the first time and had a great experince with the Hair stylist SHidae. She listen's and did just what I asked. If you are looking for a great hair stylist in a new salon. ( SHE's THE 1 ) . I give her FIVE STARS lol

I've been meaning to write my review after my second visit in July but daily life happened and I'm just now getting around to it. After reading the 'Bad experience' review I wish I had written this sooner!! (Something smells fishy to me about that story) After 5+ yrs. of hit or miss cuts, over texturizing and checkerboard highlights my little sister walked in with the cut and highlights I've been wanting! She's the way I heard about Tx Hair Team, and it turned out, to be 2 miles from my house instead of 12. One week later I was sitting in Kelly's chair and 2 hours later I had the cut I wanted and the best highlights and color I've seen in 10 yrs.! She is truly an artist with cuts and color (confirmed by seeing several of her other clients while I was there) The atmosphere was friendly and professional and the steady volume of regular clients coming and going told me there are a lot of others who love this place too. In addition to great service and rates, another plus for this salon is they use Wella coloring and styling products. This product makes my heavily highlighted hair look and feel soft, shiny and silkie. One more comment about the 'bad experience' story is in 34 years of color and highlights applied by stylists using quality hair color products (and spending 4 yrs. of weekends in my Uncle's salon) I haven't seen one have such a reaction to color/highlights. I recommend this salon to everyone!

you know i have gone to many places to get my hair done and Texas hair team has it right every time. not to mention the unbeatable prices, especially with the economy the way it is so i highly recommend this salon

My friend told me about this place. I went in scared to death but came out like a diva. Everyone was very friendly. I also learned lot about my hair. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the worse experience I ever had in my life with a hair salon. I am a brunette with a few highlights and only wanted to get my hair color, touch up the highlights that I had and get a haircut. Well, this is the first time I ever got my hair done at this salon. The hairdresser burned my scalp when putting the color on and it felt like my head was on fire. I told her to get it off and she looked like she was freaking out and was asking the other hair dressers what to do. This hair dresser was making me scared because she was just standing there while my scalp was burning. I would think all hair dressers especially one who has experience should now what to do in a situation like this. My aunt is a hair instructor and she said they should know what to do in all cases. The hairdresser rinsed me off and went back to my hair to fix the highlights otherwise I would of walked out with orange hair.
I told her not too much highlights, because I didn't want to be blonde. Well the hairdresser left me and was telling the other hairdressers to help her out. Finally the manager stepped in and washed my hair and put the toner in so it wouldn't be orange. Manager said they had other customers who complained about there scalp itching real bad the first few days. Well, as the manager blow dry my hair, lets just say I look terrible. My hair is practically blonde with white, grey and yellow highlights and looks burned. I look like a ALLEY CAT. The joke is not over, at the end they wanted me to pay for the service and highlights. ARE THEY CRAZY....I agree to pay the manager for my haircut only and I did not pay for the terrible highlights. They persisted about 4 times and I said no because now I have to worry about my hair breaking. Now I have to find another hair salon who can help me...I am trying to find out who owns these salons so I can let her know about my bad experience I had with her shop. THIS IS A WARNING...DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE BY THIS SHOP..........sign....ALLEY CAT

Well i just went to get my haircut this weekend and come to find out that when I went to the Texas Hair Team two months ago they really missed up my hair. I spent $85 dollars for a shampoo, cut, style and flat iron. I have very curly hair and I told the lady's when I got there that I need someone that knows how to cut curly hair they told that was no problem. Well when I went to get my haircut this weekend come to find out the lady that cut my hair last time at Texas Hair Team butcher my hair. There was hair that was 2 inches in some places and the next there was hair that was 6 inches and at the back of my hair there was one side much higher that the other side, in the middle of my neck there was a V cut in the middle of me hair. It was so bad that I had to cut all of my hair off this weekend to correct the problem that the lady at Texas Hair Team did to me. If you have curly you would know how up set I was when I came home and saw all my curls was gone even my own daughter didn't recognize me. I am very disappointed in the services. My self and my family will never go there again.

When I first started going to this salon there was a man stylist he was very particular with his work and once he found out we had plans to be regular customers he began the I don't care attitudes. He would fail to come to work after a appointment was made I called and confirmed the appointment the day before. He also did a straightening job and then another one some months later.
However the second one fried my hair. I would not advise going to him he has no interest or concern in satisfying you once you become a regular customer. He was also doing a male fried of mines hair and it became uneven and he even forgot to cut one side completely on a separate visit. He was tipped quite generously and this was the service that followed it did not pay to go to him or tip him well.

I love Texas Hair Team.I started going to them about three years ago.Prices were great.Go to them, they can cut hair any way you want.Chris is wonderful. She does not forget who you are and knows what you want.Show her a picture and she can cut it. She is awsome! I have referred family and friends to her and everyone loves her and there haircut! So go and see what i mean. Get a coupon, it saves you money.

If your looking for Cathy call Salon Moda off of Aldine Westfield, I found her there, she did my color for 10yrs. I still go to Texas Hair Team for my kids though, they are really good with kiddos, and can get them in fast.

I walked into a very nice, soothing place with a wonderful fragrance in the air. Not the stuffy, hairspray smell in other places. I waited for way too long, and was about to leave. It turns out they were very shorthanded, and they thanked me for my patience. Not only were they very polite, they did a great job on my hair!

PROS: Very nice, good price for quality
CONS: The waiting!

Texas Hair Team is a hair salon that used to be another well known place. Their place is really big and always has a stylist ready to cut, color or whatever your needs when you need it. I have one lady I use there and she is awesome. I never let anyone else cut my hair. This place is great!
