I love this car dealership simply for two important reasons: Ease of process and high quality service! And did I say their staffs are some of the coolest?

We all know that car dealerships are high pressure areas. Since everyone is paid on commission that is understandable. Everything is great when it goes smoothly, but when it goes south beware. All of sudden the finger pointing turns and you will become assualted from every front. I took my car in a few weeks ago because it wouldnt start. They said it would be an easy fix. Two days and 200 bucks later I got it back. Two days after that it was broken again. Same issue, but this time the repairs would cost 630 bucks. Wait a minute I thought you just fixed it? Nope we didnt we found new things wrong with it and now its going to be more to fix it. So after intense pressure we settled it for 250 (or 350 which is what they actually charged my card). A week later new issues arise. This time 1000 bucks to repair it. But wait didnt they just fix it? Nope they only said they did. I said Ill take it somewhere else. Okay they said "150 diagnostic fee"?! Wait why you just fixed it twice and charged me a diagnostic fee both times. No we didnt fix it we only got it in operable condition so that you can drive it off the lot. I refused the diagnostic fee and now the car sits on their lot. Maybe someday I'll get my "fixed" car back. Trust me your vehicle will beg you to avoid this place.

My wife and I have bought several new cars in the Austin area within the last 8 years... and have never had such a Great Car buying experience! Our salesman Jerry Crider showed us all there is to know about the Altima SV... and we fell in love with it right away! Jerry was very professional... and he sure knows his stuff !! We never felt pressured to buy... like we`ve felt in other auto dealerships in the past. We had a problem with some scratches on the wheels on the right side....No problem at all ....Taken care of by a Great Salesman.... Thanks Jerry ....Thanks Round Rock Nissan....... What a Great Car.....!!

My experience was positive in all aspects so I did not see anything that could improve. This includes the towing and shuttle services which were extremely convenient and helpful. This type of service coupled with friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff truly sets your organization notches above the rest and serves as a reminder that I have my confidence in the right people. Thanks for being there for me!

My husband and I visited several dealerships while looking for a new car. Anthony Gatling at Round Rock Nissan was the best sales person that we dealt with. He was polite, respectful, and very considerate. He took the time to explain the features of the cars and help us find the right car for us. He also helped us negotiate the deal that allowed us to purchase the car that we really wanted.

I liked the people I dealt with. I knew what I wanted and the packages I wanted and they never tried to change my mind or sell me something else. Instead they gave me a straight honest sell. And I appreciated that. Jerry Crider kept the ball on track, and if something was there I did not understand he fully explained it to me. He also ensured financing was correct. All in all, great purchase!

My sales experience was fantastic! Brian Hart has superb customer service and sales skills. You can see & feel the determination he had to ensure our purchase experience went well. You can also feel his passion and confidence for the Nissan brand. Riley Steven in finance was very professional something I have not experienced in a very long time. You could trust what he said and offered.

Of all the cars I have bought, I dreaded buying another new car, like going to the dentist. How refreshing to have the service I received from Jerry Crider, very efficient, no hassle, no headache. I told him what I wanted, he supplied it and it was the fastest vehicle purchase I have ever made. I will definitely refer friends and family.

I bought a used certified Frontier from them. Once it started cooling off outside, the ac was turned off and the windows were rolled down. Unfortunately, the drivers side window would not roll up. it's only been 2 weeks since I bought it so I called the dealer. SORRY, you didn't buy the extended warranty. I searched for the part, and could have bought one on-line for $75, but I would have to wait a few days to be delivered. I went to the dealership for the part. $260.00 plus tax. i told the service guy I would just wait and get the part delivered from NAPA. He said that it is not the same part and modifications would need to be made to be used, so I bought it. When i got done installing, I checked the picture of the part, it was exactly the same. HE was being DISHONEST to make a heavily marked up sale.

Don't waste your time here.

Purchased 2 cars here and watched how one of their salespeople lied and cheated to try and get in our the second deal. A general email to the dealership does not make someone my sales rep.

The location is terrible. Try going there around rush hour, it is brutal.

It is difficult to find parking at the dealership. If you do find a spot then you just may not be able to get out of the spot.

Dead ROACHES were all over the floor of the dealership. Really? You can't pick them up before your potential customers arrive? Those poor kids that crawl on the floor there. YIKES!

They don't call to tell you that your license plates are in. You have to call them. They want you to come down there to pick them up. We finally got ours and realized they had them for over a month.

Try finding a fully loaded car you like on their lot. Odds are that someone at the dealership used it for a "DEMO." All that means is that the car has several thousand miles on it and was used by the GM.

Lastly - Don't even get me started on their service department. It just plain stinks. PERIOD

Buying a car from Round Rock Nissan was the worst customer service experience of my life.

While I was putting the top up on my new 350z (with purchased service contract), the power windows quit working. This is because my body control module (BCM) blew. The service department at Round Rock Nissan blew another BCM while troubleshooting the problem.

They blamed the problem on the fact that after market stereo equipment had been installed in the car, even though the stereo had been installed weeks before, was working when the problem with the windows happened, and is still working today (unlike my windows.)They also accused me of installing the equipment myself, even though I had paid to have a professional shop do the instal. They were never able to diagnose or fix the problem, but THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE BCM THAT THEIR TECHS DESTROYED WHILE MY CAR WAS IN THEIR SHOP. They wouldn't even take my car in to look at the problem without me signing an estimate for the time and they never contacted me to let me know they would be destroying parts and billing me for them.

To fully appreciate the "customer service" attitudes of the staff of Round Rock Nissan, I suggest that you read my review at cardealercheck, where you can see the replies from the service adviser that I had been dealing with.

Took my new car to RR Nissan for an oil change. We bought the maint. package when we purchased the car. So I figured - How hard is it to change oil????? I was wrong....I picked up my car and noticed scratches along the drivers side. I informed two different sales managers. The only thing they could suggest was me calling my automobile insurance and filing a claim, when it happened at their facility. I will never use RR Nissan again. I have a co-worker that had the exact same thing happen to her.

On 1/8/09 I left my 2002 Nissan Xterra at Maxwell Round Rock Nissan to have diagnostics performed. Clint Collins quoted me $105 & I signed a "PreWorkOrder" agreeing to this amount.

On 2/18/09, he said I needed a new engine. The next morning, 2/19/09, he quoted me > $5K. I told him this was too much - I wanted to pick up my SUV. He then told me he put a new super charger (SC) on when they were doing their diagnostics & would need to charge me labor to remove it, or I could keep & pay for it. I told him no way! I asked his supervisor, Jorg VanPatten, to call me, but he didn't.

On 2/20/09, I went to the dealership to try to resolve this. Clint, Jorg, & Guy McRee (their GM) told me they had changed their mind, did not want to remove the new SC, & insisted I keep & pay for it. They had just found out they couldn?t return it to Nissan because it?s a "performance part". I told them what they were trying to do was fraudulent and they needed to put my SUV back the way it was when I left it w/ them (put my old SC back on, etc.) & to present me w/ some kind of bill. (Legally, in TX you have to pay to get a car back, or they can put a lien on the car).

I sent them an e-mail that said I would prefer to resolve this issue w/out litigation. If they presented me w/ a bill on 2/23/09 for only $105 & returned my SUV to its original state, I would consider this matter resolved. If not, I would take them to court. I would also file a complaint w/ the TX Attorney General & Better Bus. Bureau.

On 2/23/09 I picked up my SUV & paid a bill for $1,687.25 for a new SC (even though they kept it) & for labor to put mine back on.

They lied on the invoice saying I authorized installation of a new SC & my old one was "very noisy internally". However, they entered those notes on 1/19/09 @ 4:51 pm, 4:54 pm & 4:58 pm (date stamped by their own computer!). This was after my morning conversation w/ Clint when I said I was not paying for unauthorized parts/work.

Cons: Extremely dishonest.!! Flaunt the law in your face!!

My salesperson was great. Very helpful and we found the vehicle that I wanted.

Before I went back to the dealership, the deal had already been agreed upon with my salesperson. Still, when I showed up I had to wait in excess of 45 minutes (with my 2 kids) to start the paperwork with the finance department. Now, if you have kids, you will understand that a 7 and 11 year old can only be patient for so long until boredom, hunger, arguing, etc kick in. When I finally did get in to see the finance person, everything started off fine and we started the paperwork. However, we ran into a snag when he started to offer me the extras (GAP insurance, warranties, etc). When I declined the GAP insurance, he continued to press the issue. In fact, he made me feel like an idiot in front of my children for not taking it. This is absolutely unacceptable. When I declined it for the 4th and final time, he made me write on the piece of paper something to the effect of ?I decline the insurance and assume all the risks? or something like that. From that moment on, his whole attitude changed and he was very rude and standoffish. Just because a customer does not want to purchase all the extras does not mean they need to be treated like an idiot. You can get cheaper GAP insurance from places other than dealers. In fact, I would recomment that you never purchase GAP insurance from a dealer as they inflate their prices. I have never heard of having to write this and can only assume that he did this to further belittle me. My neighbor works in the auto re-finance industry here in Austin and he had never heard of anyone having to write a sentence to decline insurance.

What was supposed to be a pleasurable experience turned into a sour one.

My salesperson walked me out to the truck and I told her about my experience. She laughed and suggested that I write to the manager. I failed to see the funny side of it. Now I do. He has never bothered to contact me.

Pros: Location is easy to find

Cons: The finance department. Terrible.

I recently began to experience a "knocking" sound and hesitation while accelerating in my maxima. I took it to the Maxwell service dept and they were certain the car needed a "flush" to clean out excess carbon. After paying them $230 I picked up my car to discover that not only did the same issue still exist, it now did not want to go from 2nd to 3rd gear and often would not respond at all while accelerating. I returned it and they told me that I now needed a new mass air flow sensor which would be an additional $435!!! I immediately asked for my money back which they were unwilling to do until I asked to speak with management. After a spirited conversation they did refund the initial monies.

I took the car to Christian Brothers, which I should have done in the beginning. They too ultimately diagnosed a mass air flow sensor, however their cost on the same repair was $260...an almost $200 difference!!!!

If your car is under warranty (which mine was not)I can understand taking it back to maxwell Nissan. However, if you decide to take an older Nissan in for service at Maxwell, I strongly suggest you double check what they diagnose and the price they quote. In fact, save yourself the trouble and just take it to Christian Brothers.
