4 Stars: This course is a little Gem! (by Johnny G.)

I played this course and found it to be very challenging. The par fives offer birdie opportunities for the mid handicapper. The restaurant in the club house offers some of the best Bar B Q around.

4 Stars: Nice Greens! (by Anthony R.)

There are two different courses here. A red and a blue. There are water holes. I really enjoy the scenery. Not the place to be for beginners. Fun place to meet the guys.

3 Stars: New Name, New Look (by Robert K.)

In the old days, Grand Prairie muny deserved a 3-star rating. Maybe when all the work is done this will be up to four; it's pretty close now! Best time to play it is early in the morning; get out with the rest of the old guys and walk 18 . . . then play the other nine in a cart and you're home within 5 hours! They're reworking a nine at a time (it's a 27-hole layout, in case you didn't guess) and though the Red got a little easier in spots, it's still a good test. Give the renovation a little more time and you won't recognize it from the old days (this was the first course I played in the area, probably about 32 years ago).
