Once Upon A Child

I do like to come here to do some bargain shopping for my one year old. I am always pleased what I find at this store, and like the location. They have bigger items, like strollers, cribs, etc. but they do not sell car seats. They also used to sell maternity clothes here, but stopped selling maternity at the north store over 2 years ago. I don't sell my kids clothes here, only because I don't think I get a fair price.

PROS: bargain prices, quality clothes
CONS: doesn't give fair price when purchasing your items

There are good consignment places in Cedar Park...this is just not worth driving to Austin. They do give you cash for your used/new items...but very little. You have to sign up on a list and wait around for someone to evaluate your clothing. Then they give you a few pennies for each item...really. Their prices on used clothing/toys are pretty good...but nothing you can't find at the other consignment shops. This one just isn't worth the trip unless you are needing cash fast...and it probably wouldn't even get you enough for a McDonald's hamburger!

I loved the wide selection of clothing they had for girls. The racks were very organized and neat. They had the clothing separated by gender and sizes as well as had them grouped by colors. The prices for the clothing and toys I looked at were very good. Selling items to this store is not very profitable even if you take the store credit. New items are brought out daily and the store was clean as well as the items.

PROS: Great prices for buying
CONS: Don't give much money for items brought in

I happened to find this place in a local magazine and I couldn't believe the great prices they had for some of their things. There are some really expensive brand named clothes you can find at low prices and the condition of the clothes are nearly new. I bought some shoes for my daughter there for less than $3 and everyone has complimented on them. You'd find something similar at boutique stores for triple the price, if not more.

While getting a tire replaced, we went into this location just for something to do. We couldn't believe the big ticket toy items that they had at the time, but the best part were their prices. If you are on the buying end, this is a fantastic place to look for the larger more expensive items.

The staff was also friendly and helpful. The store was clean and organized which is what I like to see.

This is a great place to buy infant clothes. If you are looking to trade in your used items, this is not the best place. They are very picky, and don't give you much for what they do accept. The staff is nice.
