My family has used Dr. Moses since he was with Eubanks Animal Clinic. He is so good with the animals, all kinds & sizes. I had a 4 year old Chinese Shar Pei who besides my daughter, was my companion. One day, for no apparent reason, she wanted to eat, but couldn't. She got really lethargic. I had to rush her to an emergency animal clinic. When I went to pick her up, she couldn't walk. They had no clue to her ailment & advised me to take her to her regular vet. I of course took her to Dr. Moses. She was hemorrhaging by the time I got her there. He examined her, gave her some kind of liquid oral medication and 2 injections. He said take her somewhere where she could have extreme quiet & rest. That was on a Friday. All of a sudden, 2 days later on Sunday morning, she got up and started running around the back yard like nothing was ever wrong with her. She lived for another 7 years without any other illnesses. He totally saved her life.
I grew up with lots of different animals and lived in the DFW area my whole life so I've been to many vets in the mid-cities area as well and I have to say that Dr. Moses is the best vet I've been to. Plus, the office is friendly, very informative and Dr. Moses will work with you in certain situations. If you're one of those people like me where you're not sure which vet to go to, you can trust Dr. Moses whether you have a cat or dog, big or small. And the cats won't bother you. They don't hiss, scratch or bite or anything like that and they don't really bother you, they're just curious like any other cat and really friendly too.

I have been using Dr. Moses for decades....maybe 3?
He has treated the tiny Yorkies I once raised, my ex's prized bird dogs, and 4 different Papillons I've owned. I started using him way back when he was with Eubanks Animal Clinic.... before he went into practice on his own.
I had switched to him upon recommendation from a friend who also raised tiny dogs. The vet we had both been using in Euless for our little ones, seemed great with big dogs and clueless about anything in the 5 lb or under bracket. He cost her a maltese, and I lost a puppy and almost the birthing mother from his misdiagnosis. That was the last straw in a string of concerns I had about him for some time.
I was sold on Dr. Moses the moment I picked up my 3 lb Yorkie stud after a tooth cleaning and found him fully alert and trying to jump into my arms. When I'd had teeth cleaning done with the former vet, the same dog stayed all day, and still could not walk well on his own into the next day. He was using WAY TOO MUCH; I was lucky not to have lost him because of this lack of skill. Ever have to help a little dog lift it's leg to urniate? Well, I have....back when I used my former vet.
It was totally different when I switched to Dr. Moses. He KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING when he uses anesthisia on the tinies. It makes all the difference in the world. You have to know what you are doing, and tinies have to be monitored closely. You will get this level of care from Dr. Moses.
Yes, as the previous reviewer stated, cats do roam freely at the clinic. I'm not a cat person, but those cats are DONOR cats! Their presence could just mean the difference in life or death of your pet if it needs a blood infusion. So take the time to give them a little scratch behind the ears and their deserved respect.
Only go to Dr. Moses if you want your pet treated the way he would treat his own.
