2 Stars: won't go back (by nick p.)

I recently tried to schedule a touch up session, and was informed that Annie is no longer there, the only reason I continued wasting time and money there was because of her happy endings, what a waste of talent.

4 Stars: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? (by Stephanie L.)

First, I would like to start off saying... what are you people thinking? What is it that you are ingesting before your treatments? I find absolutely, 100% nothing wrong with this company. I think they have an exceptional staff who is always very friendly and attentive and know what they are doing. They are professional with their work and do not judge. The manager, Taylor Foreman, is one of the nicest, sweetest, spunkiest, well-liked person I have met. She is very knowledgable when it comes to the business and will not beat around the bush. What some of the "unsatisfied customers" failed to mention is that THEY ARE informed that this is not a guarantee. Of course you are to experience changes with the treatments but when you have a hair type that can just not be removed, that is not ALC's problem. It was explained that these treatments are effective on certain types of hair types, but not guaranteed on all. Plus, when they give you a two-year guarantee- warranty... why not take advantage of it? If you are not satisfied, dont be scared to let them know you don't think this is working properly. They will do all in their power to make it right... to make you a happy customer! I have received nothing but exceptional service and appreciate them making you feel as comfortable as possible. I have seen dramatic results with my treatments and will admit it is taking longer than expected but it will be so worth it in the end. I am so glad that I can take this opportunity to change something about myself that has caused me to be self-concious for a good part of my teenage life. I no longer have to be embarassed or scared that someone will see my hair; I am hair-free and loving it. For the first time in a long time I am happy with my body and love the way I look and feel about myself. A large part of that is in thanks to ALC. As far as Taylor having a comb over, I believe they are called bangs... we are no longer in 1969. I think it looks great on her and gives her character. There are some things you do not know about people, so why judge and say harsh things about someone who has been nothing but nice and cooperative with you and is just trying to do her job. How low can you be to take a blow on someone's appearance? Why are you trying to act like you are perfect? Which you are OBVIOUSLY not if you have found a large enough "flaw" to be correct by ALC. Again, the service, staff, and especially Taylor are great. I would not take my business anywhere else and have and will continue to recommend people forever! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK LADIES!!

1 Stars: The most unprofesional manager my wife and I have ever met. (by John W.)

My wife and I come in to get treatments done from Annie which does a great job and is always up-beat. She is the only reason we still come back. I feel with out her, this company would have fallen a part years ago. Now, About Taylor, which by the way, is very very jealous of Annie and she shows this by treating her like she is incompetent, which my wife and I both know, its her own insecurities. I am baffled that upper management can not see what a lousy job Taylor does. Taylor dresses very unprofessional and her outlook on how to run a business just makes me wonder who she had to sleep with to get where she is. Taylor is disrespectful to her employees, fake individual and I seriously think, she drinks on the job. You can tell her employees are unhappy because every time I go into this place, all her employees quit on her, which tells me I do not want somebody that no one trusts working on my wife and myself. I hope somebody you avoid Taylor Foreman at all costs. Kudos to Annie Burkhartd for all her hard work and willingness to work with somebody like Taylor. They must be paying here very well to stay.

1 Stars: American Laser Centers Plano are thieves and liars (by Molisa R.)

I started my experience with them in 2004 to remove hair from my chin. Of course they initially told me it would take 6 treatments which ended up being 3 years of treatments every 6-8 weeks. Needless to say hair still grows on my chin. I have been aggressively seeking a refund for over a year with no luck. From customer service to Taylor Foreman to my new contact Heather and letters to the company I don't think I will ever get a refund. They all lie! I was finally told if there was at least a 10% change in the hair growth they consider the treatment a success story. What a Crock!! Who wants to pay 100% for 10% of service? Please do not do business with this company...you will not be happy. If anyone has had success in getting their back let me know.

1 Stars: Don't use American Laser Center (by Mary Ashley W.)

Please do yourself a favor and do not use this company. First of all, they are way over priced. The staff is very rude and has the typical "I am better than you attitude" associated with the Plano/Frisco area.

PROS: None
CONS: Everything

2 Stars: Doesn't Work (by Laurie B.)

I hate to say it, but these treatements just don't work. I've been going to American Laser Center for almost 24 months for a small amount of dark hair on my chin. I believe that it has gotten worse since I have been getting the treaments because I have to shave the area instead of wax or pluck. The good thing is that they offer a two year warranty on their work, so I can continue to get treatements in hopes of the hair eventually falling out, but I was told it would be gone after 6 visits and I have been there at least 12 times. It was also very expensive, and so far has been a complete waste of money.

Also, they experience turn over in their employees like I have never seen. Almost every time I go there is a new employee and it's their first day. I have to explain my case all over again to someone new, and it really feels like they just don't care about their patients. They book the appointments really far out, so you can only get in every six weeks. I don't know about other clinics offering similar service, but I for sure would say to stay away from ALC based on my experience.
