3 Stars: Ready to wait (by Courtney H.)

Be ready to wait...either on your food, or a drink refill, or the check. They're always busy for lunch, and the wait can be a little rough.

The food is pretty good. A former coworker of mine swears by it, though I've had better. Overall, it's a good lunch spot, as long as you're prepared to wait.

4 Stars: Tacos Nortenas == Heaven (by Chris W.)

The food here is spectacular. There is nothing on the menu that I wouldn't order twice in one meal :) The queso is delicious, the guacamole has only been fresh and zesty, and the salsa is awesome! You know it's fresh and homemade since the heat changes on a daily basis. It has a much more authentic Mexican feel then your standard TexMex affair, but would still fit in that category. Get there early during the week as it fills up at the stroke of noon. If crowds terrify you, go on the weekend at lunch time for a much more casual affair. You will often see the wait staff eating the food as well, which for me is a HUGE plus :)

4 Stars: Great lunch spot in Deep Ellum (by Nancy R.)

Pepe y Mitos is a good Mexican food restaurant in Deep Ellum. It is very popular, so get there early if you only have an hour for lunch. They have a good and reasonable lunch menu. I like their mole, chipotle, and spinach enchiladas. The only drawback is that they are kind of slow. If you're not pressed for time it is worth the wait. The food is great. The staff is nice too and will remember you!

4 Stars: Does Anyone Have the Time? (by Ashley M.)

Pepes and Mitos Mexican Cafe is very tasty, however, even though they are quick getting the food out, finding your waiter for your check is difficult. Every time I go there I have to wait for the check, otherwise its a fun place with a gated patio.
