Rivers End Motel

I've stayed at the Rivers End many times and it is clean, well run and the owners are excellent fishing guides and great inn keepers! Great value for your dollar.

PROS: Mimi is wealth of knowledge
CONS: Stop in Freeport for major supplies

The River's End Motel is a plain Jane, but located right at the mouth of the San Brenard River where the river meets the Gulf of Mexico is pretty cool for people who just want to fish, or go boating. It is clean and the area is bustling year round.

It offers a coffee bar and the people are sownhome and friendly.
