Thumbs up on Consuelo Diana! She has been my hairdresser for years, each and every time I have a different and stylish look. She is awesom, she knows what shes doing, and the girl knows her products. Most of all, not only is she talented, but she is very professional and looks professional. She is in the North Park facilities and I would recommend that anyone needing a new and stylish hair makeover should try her out!

I have been getting my haircuts at T&G for about 5 years, almost each time with a different stylist, who ranged from level one tech to level 2 master. Although the level 2 master may have had a steadier hand and made me come out with a more polished look, the cut/style was neither more creative nor most importantly, different. I prefer an edgier or sultry look as opposed to conservative and simple looking cut and styles. Although I usually ended up liking my haircut, I always asked for something different and explained that I DO NOT want a "bob" styled haircut as I had done the last time I came. Of course, almost every time I left, I came out with a straight bob style. Although Talia cut my hair in a bob, it had fringes and nice layers. So after trying 6 different stylists, who ranged from $40-$82, I finally found Consuelo, who styled my hair differently (wavy with bangs across my forehead) and is very knowledgeable about products and hair care. She is a younger but experienced stylist (I believe she is level 4 or 5, which is $65 or $70 for cut and style).
So my only advice is to got for a lower level stylist the first time you go there and test your way around stylists. Going for the earlier in the day or mid-noon time appointments would also help avoid a huge crowd, something not to look forward to since it's such a small place. And if you like the hair products they use, don't feel pressured to buy them all at one time; you can add to your collection over time. They also have a free program that for every $10 you spend on products, you get one accumulative point, which is equivalent to $1 off your next purchase. As for products, I tend to stay away from CatWalk because they don't smell as pleasant as Bed Head products, which are usually fruit scented. Cat Walk Shampoos smell fine but styling products smell like toxins. Their newest line, Rockaholic, doesn't really carry a scent (I have only used that line's hair serum and hairspray). I pretty much have everything Bed Head, and my personal favorites are Superstar (volume spray), Headrush (aerosol shine), Brunette Goddess Shampoo and Conditioner (smells like cake but is officially an almond scent), and the Manipulator.

Read reviews as I'm new in town - asked for best colorist and stylist as I needed a complete new look.Have spent 7 months growing hair for new look. Colorist was okay but showed her a photo and it was too dark all round with not enough highlights. Sal waiting for 2 hours for my "Art Director" who never showed up - was given the next available stylist who spent a short time on my hair and didn't do anything near what my picture showed. An angled choppy bob. The bill was $202!! plus tips aaaargh felt i SHOULD HAVE LOOKED A MILLION $$$ FOR THAT BUT CAME OUT LOOKING ALMOST THE SAMEToo busy, too crowded, staff embarrassed by wait time but didn't do anything about it, shunted from chair to chair, and waaaaaay too expensive and Ive had my hair done all over the world. 2nd most expensive cut over many many years - oh yes did I mention a stylist slipped and popped her knee on the floors covered in hair?

One of the nicest salons in the metroplex, also the best stylists. Brett gave me a great new style and at the same time was polite and enthusiastic. I recommend him if you want someone young and knows what they're doing!

i have spent literally hundreds of dollars on haircuts and styling products at toni and guy northpark for years because i like my stylist. but when i tried returning merchandise ONCE in all this time, a manager named michelle accused me of filling up the package to make it look unused!!!! which i didn't of course.
i didn't even want a refund, i just wanted to replace an inferior product that started smelling rotten.
they took it back, but i shouldn't have been put in such an awkward spot! surely this will be reported to the district manager.

The best haircut I've ever gotten at any TONI and GUY stores was from here. Noehmi Martinez is a master. I didn't really know what I wanted and she was able to work with me to give me something completely perfect.

I love going here, i have very short layered hair and love the way they cut it. You get pampered service and can easily become friends with the stylist. They are ahead of the trends. I'm on a budget so i can only do this occassionaly at the $42 price for a trim.
PROS: great service, good stylists
CONS: pricey

If you want to get a great haircut then you should go to Toni & Guy. They do an amazing job with your hair and take time doing it. They will make it look good. However, it can be pricey for just one haircut.
