Our salesman called to make sure we were satisfied and offered for us to contact him if we had any questions or needed anything. I thought that was a very nice gesture. It just proves to show that this dealership has trained its employees to go above and beyond that call of standard customer service.

I loved the WIFI. It made me able to log in and work with my laptop while I waited. It was like I did not even miss any work. They also made an appointment for me so I had a general times and idea on how long it would take to get things finished. They also cleaned my car for me which was a bonus!

Tim O??Grady is the reason we purchased the Highlander through Toyota of Plano. He did an excellent job sharing the features of the vehicle and making my wife feel comfortable. Not a good experience. They assured me walking into the door that I would have a deal before I walk out. It was a scam to get me to raise on my down payment. When I said no they were indifferent and arrogant enough to tell me I wouldn't get a better deal unless I put more money down. I went across the street to CarMax and got a better deal in little less than an hour.

As a woman I was dreading having to deal with car maintenace issues but have had the best experiences at Toyota of Plano. I have dealt with Derrick the most and he has been excellent. I have also spoken with Evan in Derrick's absence and Evan was also nice. I don't feel like they are out to get me like most mechanics have the reputation for doing! I will never use another dealership.

On Saturday I put a Deposit on a vehicle and they guarantee I will get it in a week. I call the salesman everday for an update and he would never call back. On the 5th day the salesman calls we can not get your vehicle, no explaination or apology.

I bought 2002 Sienna XLE from Toyota of Irving, TX on 11/16/2001. After few months we had issues with PSNGR Side PWR Door. Took it to service dept. They reset it and worked fine. This happened couple of more times. Until 2003. Then When I took van to Toyota of Plano on 8/25/2003 with still under warranty (17,569 mileage). They REPAIRED it with TSB B0028-01 "Re-Initialize system". Invoice #

Again, it started giving us problems in 2004 and 2005 so we took it back to Toyota of Irving and of course the service dept said its out of warranty now (39,232 miles) So after escalating to svc mgr and then to GM, they fixed on 3/12/05

Worked for few months again and it started giving us problems again so we took it back to Toyota of Plano on 10 April 2007. They gave us estimate of $2,100 and mentioned "NEEDS POWER DOOR MOTOR AND ECU".

We didn??t use the van for a week and battery died. After giving the jump, the van started and power door started working again. Took it back to Toyota of Plano today June 11 2007 to see if they can look into this issue so we can get this fixed as we had the pwr door issue from very first yr. Talked to Service Manager David Kennedy and he said he can not help me as its out of warranty. When I talked to Tayme Roloff, Customer Relations Manager at Toyota of Plano she told me that she can not override it what already service mgr had told me. BTW, the battery was under warranty as I had replaced in August of 2006 which service dept didn??t even bother to offer to check. I was frustrated about this situation as I spent $35K plus all this time to fix the door which has given me issues from very first yr

Took my car to this business & was swept away by the professionalism of the staff. When you pull into the garage you're greeted with a smile and are attended to promptly. The service advisor gives you an estimated time of your wait & then you are escorted into the waiting room where they have fresh coffee, tv, & internet hook-ups available. Very impressed of how clean the building and the parking lot was. Highly recommend!

Being one of those folks who does hours of research before buying any car, I truly enjoyed the ease of making a deal here. I went in armed with about 10 pages of data from various online sources, and I had calculated the price I wanted to pay for my RAV4 by figuring the dealer cost plus 5% profit (fair according to my information). As a single woman, I had kind of gotten the "good old boy" treatment at other dealerships, but not here. I walked in, told them what I wanted to pay, and they agreed within 30 minutes. They also helped me return the rental car I was driving (I had totaled my previous car).

The only hitch was near the end. They lowered the interest rate I had from my pre-buying financing by offering to finance themselves, and that was good, but they then sold me some stuff on the end of the deal to help reclaim some profit. Still, this was as painless a car deal as I have ever done, and I am in love with my RAV4.

PROS: Friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism
CONS: Watch for add-ons after the deal

We had brought our car in to be serviced with George. It was some kind of clicking that I just didn??t feel comfortable with, thought maybe it was something to do with the tires. I took it to another dealership before them and I paid them to have so called fixed the problem but the fix only turned out to be temporary. The staff at Toyota of Plano took their time diagnosing the problem and then replaced the defective parts. They shuttled me to work that morning and it was all done by the time I got off. The price was decent and the best part is its fixed permantley. Its been a couple months now and I have heard so much as a peep out of my vehicle. Thanks so much for caring!

I have seen lots of bad reviews about Toyota of plano but still made a mistake of trying them., i can confirm that all those bad reviews are for real , i experienced the same. The staff is very unfriendly and rude to say the least. The director , his name is Kia tops the list for ppl with disgusting behaviour..i have seen other dealerships and their bad behaviour but this one is the worst.. spare some time and go elsewhere. donot even try them

I have been dealing with Toyota of Plano for the last 3 years and have been very pleased. We bought a new '08 Tundra from them and we love the truck and the service they deliver. In fact, we are planning on buying another Tundra from them in the next 12 months.
I have dealt with quite a few dealerships and I think these guys are one of the best. Friendly and easy to deal with.

I went to this dealer once before and had a bad experience. I wouldn't go back to this dealership anymore. The salesman was very nice at the very begining. But once you have signed the paperwork, they will not accept anything they said except it is shown on the paperwork. Be very careful to check your paperwork before you sign anything with them.

I went to Toyota of Plano to try and trade in my vehcile. The sales man who was originally from New Orleans and the Manager ,a slim african american sitting by the windows looking out to Preston were extremely unprofessional and rude. I had never experience something like this before. The manager slimply got up and walked away while I was still trying to talk to him. He never even tried shaking my hand. The sales man tells me "see you dog".
It's funny to see when you first purchase a vehicle everybody is all over you with great smiles,offering you a coke/water and just simply going the extra mile. The reason I came back to try and trade in my vehicle was because I was told by the Finance Manager (Vilen) that I could come back after two years and trade in my vehicle with no questions asked. Toyota of Plano, I will never do business with you ever again!!

Yes, this is a high volume dealership, so they can get you just about any car you want. However, since they are a high volume dealer their customer service falters a bit. Their salesperson turnover rate seems to be no more than 6 months. If you look vulnerable, the salespeople will be there to sweep you into a car they think you'll like. The salespeople seem knowledgeable about the engine and features of their cars, as I got a full tour of the engine bay. If you're willing to fight then you can get a pretty good deal, but they will do what they can to addon as many options as possible. The whole process takes about four hours.

They also have a policy of "once it leaves the lot, it's yours", which I don't really like.

Their repair service is better. Upon arriving, you are promptly greeted by a service manager who actually knows something about cars. Since this is a high volume dealer, the wait time for even standard tune-ups is longer than normal. On average I wait for about 45 minutes for repairs, however the repairs are perfect every time. I do get a customer service follow-up call whenever I get a tune-up and the car has not had any major issues.

I don't think I will be going back to this dealer for another car. I may come here for major repairs, but I probably won't buy another new car here. I'll probably go to a low pressure place like Carmax next time.

Pros: quality repair dept, good selection

Cons: high pressure salespeople
