Old Hickory Inn Barbeque

WOW! Finally! Some real barbeque! Enough over-sugared sauce, boiled ribs, and sides from a can. Seriously people, if there isn't a pit, it's not BBQ! This is 100% the real deal and won't cost an arm and a leg. Good old fashioned barbecue and 5 star prices just don't mix. Check out OHI if you're serious about your BBQ or just want a solid affordable meal. Don't think...just go. And those baked potatoes the other guy was talking about...they're as big as your freaking head.

My husband and I are native Texans, and we've eaten a ton of barbeque, but this place remains our absolute, all-time favorite! I've never had anything here that I didn't love. The best value is in their barbeque-stuffed baked potatoes. They're bigger than your head and are incredible! You've also got to try their juicy, tender ribs and yummy chopped beef sandwiches. Even though this is on the other side of Houston from where we live, it's worth the 40 minute drive when we are craving super-stuffed BBQ baked potatoes. These are the guys to call when you want to have your family get-togethers or business functions catered with some outstanding BBQ and all the fixins'.
