Bash Riprock's

fun place to go with friends. usually has a college crowd rather than over 30. good place to hear local music and have some drinks. don't go if you are looking for a quiet place to relax. it is usually quite loud.

My brother goes to Texas Tech and everytime we come to visit him he takes us to Bash Riprock's, its the funnest place ever. We always go on Friday and Saturday nights to see live bands. The place is huge, they have a eating area, a live band area with a minibar, a bar room and a pool table room. Everytime we go my brother tells us the story about how Bash's is Lubbock's Oldest College Bar and Grill. We have a blast everytime and the bands are great. They have a wide selection of beers so prices vary, we've never eaten there so I don't know about the food, but its a great place to go and hang out.

This place is great as far as pubs go. It is huge with 4 separate rooms to keep anyone occupied from live music in back, large gameroom, trivia, darts to the unbeleivable selection of import beersf in the main bar.
Dont get me wrong. There is no brass nor mahogany in this place. It has been kept in its original condition since opening in 1986. Being across from Texas Tech University, it has become a must see when visiting Lubbock.
