The title says it all. When it comes to cars I tend to learn about them as my car decides to give me fits. I took my car to a another local shop that spent 4 days with my car, only to tell me that they could not figure out why it was overheating. They suggested 4 possible issues all of which would have set me back a pretty penny (fan switch, new radiator, new water pump, clogged radiator). They told me to take my car to the dealer because they could not figure it out.
I learned of Dave's through a co-worker who raved of them. I dropped my car off and chatted thoroughly with the office staff about the issues. By mid-day, I had an estimate and detailed information as to how my car was behaving. The overheating was explained completely, the harnesses and thermostat were ordered up, and my expectations were set as to when I would hear back from Dave's. The following day, I received a call from the staff that my car was ready.
I never once felt cheated or left in the dark. They treat you as if you were family.
I wish I had found these guys sooner. I would have saved a lot of money, time and stress. This is my new mechanic!! If you are looking for a real mechanic look no further. These are your people!
