Mayde Creek Junior High School

I would not recommend MCJH for their child. In the early 90's it used to be a great school in the middle of nowhere. The teachers were happy and the district was wonderful (you pay for it though, taxes aren't cheap). No longer. MCJH has actually come as close to HISD standards than the rest of the JH schools I have seen in KISD.

This is a great school the teachers are nice. The school is clean compared to other Jr Highs. They had study hall so you could do homework at school, and if you needed help there was a teacher there to ask for help. But they also had extra things you could do during study all too, like recycling.

This junior high school is located right next to the Elementary School, which makes the transition for students to the Junior High much easier. The student's lockers are located very close to the majority of their classes and the cafeteria is very sanitary. The teachers truly enjoy working at this school.
