I had to laugh when I read the review by a woman saying that she would travel to the ends of the earth for a cut and color with Lea. Living in Westlake, I sometimes feel like I do! But truly, no one else comes even close to the work that Lea does in terms of both cut and color. I enjoy wearing my hair short, and I have come to learn that there is a real art to cutting short hair - an art that Lea both appreciates and has mastered. We have worked together for over 10 years, and during that time she has come to my rescue on more than one occasion - coming in on a day off or back to the salon after she had already gone home. She loves what she does, and it really shows.

I have had terrific experiences at Montana Salon over the past year because they now have one thing that no one else in Dallas can lay claim to. Lea Newman resides there. Lea has cut my hair for 17 years and I would drive to the end of the earth if I had to for my color and cut every six weeks. The last time I was in to see her the woman waiting behind me was a doctor who had flown in from Santa Fe for a cut and style with Lea, another devoted client of 10+ years. As a master stylist who taught hundreds of hair professionals from across the US at one of the top global salons in the world (that I will not name), Lea is finally out of that corporate giant doing her own thing solo at Montana and is at the top of her game! People stop me at meetings and in checkout lines to ask me who cuts my hair, and I am always delighted to tell them about Lea Newman. You should experience her for yourself!

I've gone to Philip Theophilou at Montana for several months now, and he has my hair looking better than it has in years, both color and cut. He's the best and I recommend him highly.

This is a great salon. Very friendly, nice location, I have gone to Lea Newman for years and she cuts and styles better than anyone I have ever been associated with. I think from what I can observe that all the people there are of top quality. I highly recommend it. I think the prices are in line with higher quality salons in Dallas.

This is a hip salon for both men and women. It is very clean and prices are comparable for upscale Dallas. Stylist Tim Wong always understands what I need and is the only person I know of who can texturize thick, medium to long hair so that it is super bouncy. He is awesome! (I know; he's been cutting my hair for 15 years.)
