Sport Court of Austin

I want to thank you for sending your crew out to replace the light fixtures on my Sport Court game court. After 22 years, they finally needed replacing! I continue to be impressed with the quality & longevity of your products & surfacing & have watched over the years as you have continued to improve what you offer.

I have been in the Austin real estate market for over 30 years. I have experienced the market in boom & bust cycles, so I am constantly being asked about real estate as an investment and what improvements to a home offer the best return. When I think about the Sport Court in my own back yard and the hundreds of courts your company has installed in other fine austin homes, it is my opinion that it is one of the best investments a family can make in a home.

when an agent secures a listing on a home with a Sport Court in it, I know they will have a much easier time finding a buyer for that house than a similar home with a swimming pool. Due to the expense, maintenance or risks to young children associated with pool ownership, there is a large segment of the ,market that does not want one. As a result, residential property appraisers rarely give a homeowner more than a fraction of the cost of a pool at resale time. But I have not seen that with a Sport Court. You will always have a large market segment of families to appeal to.

My family has enjoyed the Sport court and I commend you and your company for this fine work you have done to bring more fun and rewards to home ownership!

I am writing to tell you how much our sport court has meant to my family over the 14 years that we have had it. I was not that excited many years ago when my husband wanted to dig up our backyard and put it in. However, after the 14 years of use, I feel I could be a salesperson for your company!

I have two boys who early on used the Sport Court to learn to ride tricycles & bikes because we live on a steep hill and this provided the only flat surface for these activities. As they got older, it became the place where they learned their tee-ball and catching skills. Eventually they were big enough to use the backboard and learned to shoot baskets. It was also always the scene of parties from elementary school and beyond.

Both of my boys turned out to be excellent athletes - one now plays college baseball. They each have been excellent three point shooters in middle school and high school - attributable solely to the many hours they spent on the court. When my older son is home from college, one of the first things he and friends do is go outside for a game of three on three.

The most recent joy has come in the last two months when we got the court "spruced up" again and started using the paddle tennis game. There has been a constant flow of high school boys over to play paddle tennis. The Sport Court has truly been a gathering place for my boys and for our family. It was one of the best investments we ever made!

The Sport Court you installed several years ago is still in good shape and looks barely used. After the kinds of temperature & climate changes we experience, it is truly an amazing experience.

But's that even the half of it. You will You will recall that my ability to continue to play through the joint pain after so many years on concrete, was reaching the point of no return. Sport Court gave me a second chance and I am now even able to play for two hours with no problems of any kind!

It occurred to me that I needed to provide you with an update to the current use and enjoyment of our splendid Sport Court! We've now entered the second
decade of its use here at my house. The first few years were given over primarily to basketball for my two sons, who have now grown up, left the house and started their own families. The good news however, has to do with the utilization of the facility by our eight grandchildren!

No matter what the weather, they can get on the Sport Court with their little tricycles or two, three and four wheelers and play all sorts of race games. When they are not riding bikes, the older boys are out shooting baskets (because of the wonderful ability to lower the 10 foot basket down to about 7 feet).

I am delighted to report that this is the first place the children run when they get to the house - it's the place from which we have to sometimes literally haul them off when it's time to eat supper, go to bed or return to their homes.

Thanks again for your great help in getting this significant enhancement added to our property!

I do regret that I did not contract with Sport Court of Austin to make our basketball court. In my attempt to save money I ended up sacrificing quality & regreting my decision.

I hired an independent concrete contractor & ended up with a slab of concrete with a basketball goal that no one wanted to play on. My decision to cut corners on a long term investment yielded long term disappointment.

The concrete has low places where rain water puddles. A net fence is needed so that we do not have to chase the loose basketballs all the way down the hill!

THANKS to Sport Court of Austin I will be able to modify the court. I wish I would have had them do the job from the ground up!!

On behalf of The University of Texas & Intercollegiate Athletics, I would like to voice my gratitude for Sport Court's participation in our 2006 girl's basketball summer camp program! The courts are great when it comes to playability, ball response, shock absorption and traction.
We appreciate the Sport Court's ability to customize the court surfaces with a UT look.

Thank You for the work that you completed on my Sport Court. It was done professionally & efficiently as usual! I am selling my home and having the Sport Court adds to the value of it. My children have enjoyed the court so much! They have spent many hours playing games and shooting baskets. We have also enjoyed it.

I feel that this has contributed to both my children's success in atheletics in high school. There are no other companies that I know of who keep up with their client's lives and show interest & pride in those lives the way you have always done over the years.

Any time that I have needed something done for the Sport Court such as replacing a light or new equipment during the last 23 years, your response was immediate. I want to thank you to know how much my children & I appreciate your service & your frindship all these years. We wish you many more years of success!
