Bangz Hair Salon, an Aveda concept salon, has worked hard to gain its reputation by maintaining the respect of its clients and the industry. Integrity and honesty are the cornerstone of our decision making. If we can do the service, and maintain the hair's integrity, we will. If the hair's integrity will be damaged, we will not. It's not about the money, it's about the health of your hair. Eleazar Guerra, owner, has been in the industry for over 25 years. His wife, Anita, and three children have or are still working with at the salon. Eleazar has held the title of "Head of Training" for Glemby International in San Antonio. He has worked as a make-up artist for Lancom and Shisedo. He is a certified Aveda color educator and freelances for his Aveda distributor teaching through out South Texas. He has also been a featured guest on WOAI's San Antonio Living morning show.

Evil Women !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
Will will will this is to all my good costumer at JD AND VICTOR,S HAIR STUDIO we have Finley found this evil women who wrote the bad comments here name is Ronda Breshears" and here E/mail is <rbresh4@yahoo.com let me tell you what happen, RONDA BRESHEARS is saying that JD butchered here hair and that it was so bade she had to go to anther salon to fix it will I can tell you this we found your receipt and you left a tip for jd so you were Happy jd did give you the mirror to see you hair as will and you loved it , I want to let Evey one know that she said she was going to slander are name I have the e/mail she wort to the salon she also said that she works for a law firm so she knows what she is doing, RONDA BRESHEARS never told the salon anything was ever wrong all she did is writ the bad comment a normal women would have Handel this matter in a different way, To all business owner beware of this Lady, if you look here up you can see that she is never Happy she has written common on 4 other salon That's okay - this is what RONDA BRESHEARE send the SALON (I will go about it a different way - ( I know the definition of slander!) TO EVEY SALON OWNER OR SMALL BUSINESS OWNER LET HERE HAVE IT YOU HAVE HERE E/MAIL SEND YOUR COMMONS TO HERE SEE IF SHE LIKES IT! (WE ARE NOT GOING TO STOP GIVING HERE E/MAIL OUT IN TILL SHE REMOVES THAT FALSE COMMENT )

Amanda rocks!
I decided spur-of-the-moment that I needed a new style and called up Bangz, got an appointment the same day with Amanda. I've never been there before, so I wasn't sure what to expect but I had a great experience. My problem was my hair was too heavy & long, I wanted to keep the length but have it feel lighter and more modern, and have some lighter bangs. That's pretty much all I told Amanda, and told her to do what she thought was best. I ended up with my best haircut I've ever had, and I've received so many compliments on it since. I'm going back to her for sure.

People with Talent!
I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone. I went to JD & Victor's Salon which I would not advise anyone to go to EVER - I don't care how desperate you are. JD cut my hair or should I say "butchered" my hair - that seems more appropriate. I ended up at this salon and they fixed my hair which was not an easy task. I ended up having to basically pick a hair style of a very, very short nature because of JD the Butcher. They not only fixed my hair but stayed late on a Saturday to do so. I loved the outcome - I started a new job today and was able to come to work with a nice hair cut; although, I don't feel this is my style - it is a great cut. I plan on continuing with this salon. I would definitely recommend it.

Would Not Advise Coming Here
After reading the reviews, I was willing to give the salon a try. I only use Aveda products on my hair and so when I found this salon near my house I was thrilled. However, I was not pleased with my experience. First the person doing my hair made me feel like I didnt belong in the salon. Secondly, he made me feel horrible about my hair, he was telling me that he is not responsible for the end results because I had my hair cut somewhere else..what does that matter ( I was getting roots done)? He sped through the whole coloring process and in the end my hair came out TWO colors! You could see where my roots where not properly dyed. I even asked him if he thought he did a good job and he said he could have left my color on for longer. Instead of discounting the price because of his horrible job, he made me pay full price!! It was a waste of money! I would not recommend this place.

Execution and Excellence!!
All women have an idea of what, they think, is the best hair color for them. The stylist at Bangz will amuze you and then comfort and guide you into reality. We can't all be blondes and if you want to be a brunette, you can not say you don't want red in your hair. Brown and red go hand in hand. Same color scheme. I found that out after saying that remark. They assured me I would like my color, and after the hair wash, I saw brown, NOT red! This was the best treatment I received from an aveda salon and at a reasonable price. Eleazar, Ryan, and Brandy are an excellent team.

Cons: None, experience it once!

Great Salon
A great atmosphere and great stylists! It was my first time at the salon and I look forward to getting back there for another haircut!
