Top Hat Dance Centre Inc

We had a very disappointing experience at Top Hat. The instructors are very young and more interested in talking with each other than working with the children. The children were bored during class. The staff was uncooperative. Did not respond or return phone calls when complaints were filed. They also refused to refund money, including costume fees when costumes were not ordered yet. I would not recommend this dance studio. There are many others in the area from which to choose. Do not waste your money!!

Top Hat is a wonderful place! My daughter has been taking classes at Top Hat since age 3. She is now 6 and loves it! The owners are caring and great people. The stress professionalism and respect for others. At the same time, they also teach children to enjoy what they do. Top Hat is not in it for the money! They want children to do their best and have fun!

It seems like there is a dance studio or program everywhere you turn in this area, and Top Hat is a breath of fresh air for parents and students. Their dance training program is top notch, and strong in every area. They teach technique first, inspire a love and respect of the art of dance at all times, and train each dancer as an individual. This dance studio does compete, but it is not their focus. Training is the focus! The dance studio has been in business since 1963, and is stable, growing, and still producing beautiful dancers.

I'm not ever sure about Top Hat's dance lessons until the end of the session recital. They put on the best recitals with costumes and all, and even though my daughter thought class was just "okay", she will always remember dressing up for the recital.

PROS: Very nice recitals.
CONS: Also very pricey.
