broken frame

I purchased eye glasses in Sept. 07 found the people very friendly until i had a problem. The nose piece broke on the left side. I was told that i would have to pay half of the price of a new frame if i wanted the problem fixed. They didn't have a frame of the same type in stock and they would call around to see if they could find one and call me. That has been 3 weeks and have heard nothing. The store is in the black lake mall in Olympia WA. I live at the ocean about 80 miles from the store. I drove 160 miles without so much as a telephone call. The girl at the store told me that it was to bad for me and she couldn't do anything else for me. Maybe i should try some place else to get my glasses. I paid $450.00 for those glasses and they only lasted 8 months.I am so disappointed because i really love the frames but as you can understand I can't afford to but another pair this soon. I'm on social security and have a limited income I guess i will have to live with it I can't do anything else.

Pleasant Experience

My eye glass experience was smooth from start to finish. Liz helped me not only with great style selections,but took care to explain the proper benefits of sungalsses and all the other aspects of n=my glasses. My exam was next door by Dr. James Williams. I have never had such a thorough and pleasant experience, I highly recommend this office!
