I bought a car from here over a year ago and it is still causing me problems. This location has been horrible!! First they ran my down payment twice, causing me to over draft on a Saturday. Then once they returned my money to my account on Thursday, it took them over a week to cut me a check for the fees that I had acquired while my account was messed up. Then they acted like it was my fault and was not helpful in anyway. The manager was extremely rude and wouldn't even detail my car for free, even though I only had it 3 weeks. Now I have found out that when I purchased my cars maintenance plan, that I was told I could go to any Toyota, is only for a Don Davis dealership. I live no where near a don davis. The maintenance plan that I bought was around 325$ and i find out that there is a mainentance plan that I could go to any Toyota dealership is only $275. I was livid!! This location will lie to you over and over about everything!!!!

I love the staff at Don Davis Toyota. I needed a new battery and they were fast and courteous. I got a great battery at a great price. I will go back with any repair needs.

Went with my parents to purchase a car for my mother, and had the best time. Slightly hard to find if you don't know where your going but the staff was extremely friendly, funny and knowledgeable. With an added bonus when you finish with all the paper work you get to bang the gong! What more could you ask for.

We bought a used 2009 Toyota Sienna LE minivan. Thank you to Albert McGill, our salesman. He was very helpful and courteous as we looked at several vehicles. We especially appreciated him being upfront about prices and taking our concerns seriously. We are fully expecting him to get us that extra key remote.

No high pressure sales when I bought my 07 camry
Agreed on price within 3 minutes. None of the 'need to talk to my manager' and make you spend all day there.

I have been in the Automobile business for over 25 years. I am not employeed by any automobile dealership and have been medically retired since 2007. Since I have alot of time to read different blogs on the web. I read the reviews about Don Davis and see how some customers (cheap skates) make their negative comments true or untrue and the dealer can't address your issues about your statements.

1st comment-Bad Customer Service By Mr. Rick P decides to blast Don Davis for not fixing your car for free when the warranty expired. Most dealers have some flexability in their service department to allow for problems like yours but if they can't get the factory to pay for your repair the dealership would have to pay for the repair. There are dealerships that falseify their paperwork to the factory. I know that Don Davis would not do that. They have multiple dealerships and would take the chance on losing their licenses over 1 repair. The other dealership did the repair and no charge to you. No one would ever know, I do not know of any dealership that can afford to fix everybodies car that had just ran out of warranty. I almost forgot, You complained about the check out charge being reduced from $100.00 to $65.00.
Rick, sounds to me that you are a cheap skate. The automobile business doesn't owe you anything. It would be nice if somone could reverse the roles on you and somone would expect you to provide a service or sale something to them below cost. Thank God most customers are not like you and pay for services rendered. How many automobile dealerships close everyday but cause of our economy and cheap skates like you.

I service all my 4 cars here. My 2006 Camry had a check engine light come on just after my warranty expired. I called Toyota corporate for help-- knowing the dealer (not just Don Davis, but any other dealers) would really not do anything since out of warranty. I did not want to pay $100 just to diagnose my car and wanted help from toyota since the car's warranty just expired. Corporate reffered my file to the dealer I service with, which is Don Davis Toyota. Well, the customer service person at Don Davis called and stated that the service manager declined to help--even though I service all my cars here.
So I called another dealer where I have gone about 2 times before, Toyota of Irving. To help me this dealer dropped their diagnosis charge to $65---the diagnosis revealed a problem of ~$700 that the warranty would have covered. But since my car was just past the warranty---that service manager of Toyota of Irving, did a goodwill and fixed the problem for free and gave me a rental!! That is customer service, not what I got at Don Davis.
I decided to call Don Davis back to tell them what another dealer did for me (a dealer that I had only been to about 2 times). Then she at Don Davis Toyota tells me that I only do oil changes and also use coupons----I was like what!!! ----I said because of that you decided not to help. I also told her that the coupons are provided by toyota(which you would probably get back from them) and also I do other services their such as transmission, brakes, timing belt.... I would not go to this dealer at all----they are not grateful for your business and when in need they will not help you.

Don Davis was by far the most pleasant dealership we have ever step foot in. From the very get go it was all smiles and handshakes. They know how how to treat their customers. We have bought several cars throughout the metroplex. Not once have I ever enjoyed the process as much as i did over there. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. We finally found a place where you feel like a part of a family. It feels good to know someone is out there looking out for your best interest. We were so blessed to fall upon this place. The have a gentleman by the name of Todd Bigham. You owe it to yourself to visit him he is amazing. We love him.

I'm not saying to go all out for the sale or anything and if they can't meet my price at lest don't insult me by saying certain things that are unacceptable. I gave this dealer a second shot at earning my business recently. I tried before 2 years back when I bought a car and recently I bought another and tried then. That time they would'nt even come close to thae price i was asking and pretty much said I'm crazy for even asking for that price. Well Toyota of Fort Worth got me that price and earned my business the 3rd time.

I own a Nissan truck and have taken my truck to this dealer numerous times. I have always been happy with the work they have done. I have had to go back to get some other things worked on but it is not a result of their work but a result of an issue with Nissan. I recommend them.

As a dealer, they are available for dealer only repairs. However, their technicians are barely capable of diagnosing problems and often have trouble fixing it. We had a window defroster that was not working except for one or two bars. We'd show up, they'd put a volt meter on the defroster, and say, "Light's on, it works, it's fine." Then they tried to charge us for the technician's time. Uh, guys, that's not customer service.

Visited this dealer on 11/17/08; negotiated between Don Davis and another dealer; the Don Davis sales manager tried to sell a car out from under another customer who had ordered it, said he often quotes prices he won't stick to, and totally bashed other toyota dealers to me over the phone; HORRIBLE experience; then after I bought from another dealer and told him it was because he was unethical he raised his voice to me on the phone AND hung up on me!! DO NOT GO TO DON DAVIS!!
