Mays Rs W Scott Dvm - Pet Medical Ctr

I don't know what planet suzette m. is from, but I've taken my pets to Dr Mays for over 20 yrs and never felt he was price gouging me or mistreated my pets in any way.
It's hard to believe what type of deranged mentality would write such a hateful letter. I hope to continuing taking my pets to Pet Medical Center and strongly recommend Dr Mays and staff at Pet Medical Center to all my friends needing veterinary care.

Run for your pets life...this place has the most ignorant selfish staff working there, including a doctor that gives commission on up charging, They tried to put my pet down for a whopping $445. and threatened me over the phone. When i asked to talk to the doctor, the receptionist's Brian told me...the doctor does not have time for piddly questions such as mine. I was mortified by the behavior. i took my pet back to doc mar cum in Frisco as well and my poor pet did not even have to die....they were just looking for a quick buck, i am sick about this and will do what ever i can to stop people like this from hurting other innocent customers.

I have had to use this veterinary hospital twice in two years. I drive over an hour just to see the wonderful vets and office staff. They are truly caring and knowledgeable.Both of my dogs needed emergency care and I was told by other ER vets in the South DFW area that they did not have time to see my pets. Pet Medical Center welcomed us and treated us well. Thank you Dr. Mays and Dr. Morrow!

I took my pregnant dog to be groomed, and she was given a series of shots without my authorization. I did not want these given because these live vaccinations may harm her litter...all this for a fee of $121. The incredibly rude little office girl told me she was given a full exam before her groom and that her exam (which I already had scheduled) for the next day would be free. Not the case of course. If Dr Mays did a full exam as it says on my itemized receipt, then why was she vaccinated? If I'd have known they were going to do this, I would have scheduled her exam BEFO
RE her groom. As a paying cusomer ( grooming, shots, physicals, kennel...also purchase Heartguard and Frontline) I feel I was mistreated, given no respect. Their policies aren't clearly explained, and I feel ripped off. Not to mention I am now left worrying about my pregnant dog. My mother had a similar experience and we will both be finding another vet!!!

This is not a customer service oriented vet clinic. It is part of a conglomerate and they do not care about treating clients with respect. I took my dog to get spayed and objected to all of the required add-on medications. I asked to speak to the vet and was told no. Clients should have a say in what services/meds are given to their dog (as we would have a say in our health management). My opinions and wants did not matter and they were extremely rude.

Prices were nothing special, either.

I am very pleased with this vet clinic. I took my dog in the other night with bloody stool and Dr Morrow and his tech were very helpful. They explained everything to me and were very nice. If in the middle of the night you have a problem I recommend going here you will get the info and treatment your baby will deserve.

As a first time client, in an emergency situation, I can not begin to tell you how awsome the staff is. They are both competent and compassionate! Dr Mays treated "Cody" and kept me informed every step of the way. And Joey helped me at 1:00am when I called freaking out about the injury of my puppy. I will definitely come back to this clinic. I can't thank them enough for everything they have done. It is so comforting to know there is an emergency vet like this that will be there for you and your pet 24/7

We just got back from getting our dog groomed, or so we hoped. He came back looking horrible, and nothing like we requested, even when we had a picture to show them. They shaved his beard off but didn't both to groom any other part of his face. They didn't even bother to cut any part of the top half, just took the easy route and went to town with the shaver. I paid $55 for this? When we called to voice our complaint, the groomer simply laughed at us. HORRIBLE SERVICE, I recommend anywhere but here.

This vet clinic is very ignorant in not informing you on Meds, informing you after surgeries & at service desk. They give me a different answer everytime I step foot in this clinic. They have miss medicated my 2 yr. old pup, butchured my other pup in grooming & overcharged me several times! At no time have I ever received respect from this clinic & their vets. I highly recommend finding another vet!!!"

I take both my dogs here and they are treated wonderfully every time! Dr Mays is a great vet.

They also do superb jobs with grooming. My shih-tzu is the cutest after coming home from here!

i have taken all of my 4 legged pets to pet medical center. the doctor on call is always willing to help and come into the clinic no matter what. he came in on christmas eve to help my dog who was acting odd and offered to board him for a low cost. they are intellegent and know animals well.
