You won't find a better education in Houston, except maybe for Rice University. My time here totally prepared me for both undergrad and law school. The teachers actually care about the students, and if you've ever driven by it, you can see that the facilities rival that of most private colleges. Save your money now, because your children will thank you later.

This high school gives the best in education. Its middle school ranks 2nd in the city. In high school, the students are driven and focused on academic success. It is difficult to get in, but try the entry years at grade 6 and 9. The school offers sports and fine arts, but there is no doubt that the emphasis is on academics. Competition here can be fierce, and it is not a good fit for the average or weak student. Lots of homework is given as well.

This K-12 non-denominational private school isn't easy to get into, but it's worth the effort and I would try as early as possible. You absolutely cannot acquire a more prestigous peducation in Houston, and St. John's is recognized throughout the United States and abroad as providing some of the brightest and best educated graduates. They have the best in faculty and facilities - especially a state of the art fine arts building and gymnasium - and offer sports and activities for any and all tastes. I am honored and privileged to have received the best education possible from this school. Go Mavericks!
