I Love Sol Nails!! Lynn and the team are all very professional and eager to please every customer. They have the best prices for the best pedicures and manicures. I have been going there for 7 years. I have tried other salons that are closer to where I live, but I have never found a place as good as Sol Nails. You will be pampered, and treated with respect while you are there. unfortunately, the Texas cosmetology law now forbids the "Hot Wax" dip, which I miss having, but that does not take away from the fantastic job they do there. Nails, Eyebrow-Wax, massage, etc. whatever you need, they can service you at Sol Nails. It's a relaxing atmosphere, friendly, professional. Not Fancy, but you will return if you give it a try one time.I must comment on the Anonymous writer who posted what was supposed to be a 'review' (or two)on the salon. It is unkind for you to use this posting as a venue for your own malice. Since you keep listing the telephone number for the former employee (Kim was the one who did my nails for several years and she asked me to follow her to the new place, but I stayed with what I knew was a better choice, Sol Nails!) it seems that the anonymous writer is either Kim or someone who listens to Kim and is posting negative comments. Shame on you!

I had gone to KIM @ Sol-nails for 5 years. There was no doubt I would follow her to KT Nails-where she now works (972) 480-8083. She has always done an excellent job. I have tried the rest (since I live 30 minutes away) but continue to return to the BEST. The pedicures there are awesome also! Very personalized service!

I have been going to SOL Nails for about 3 years and they are the best in town! I read the previous review that rated SOL Nails very low due to an ex-coworkers, Kim, discontentment with her employer. I do not know Kim personally, but I saw her every time I had an appointment. From my observation, she is a delightful woman. It would be hard for me to believe that Kim would approve of this anonymous persons post speaking negatively about SOL Nails especially since all the comments are based on hearsay. What is shocking is that in this anonymous persons post, she knows that because Kim is no longer an employee of SOL Nails, she is now a competitor but she still lists her telephone number urging potential and present customers to leave SOL Nails to go to Kims new and current employer, KT Nails. Undoubtedly, the actions taken by this anonymous person are both unprofessional and inappropriate.
Whether the allegations from the anonymous persons post are true or false (beginning with the owners rudeness and ending with the obsession with the business telephone and noisy environment), there is always two sides to every story. Through my years of living, in addition to working in Corporate America, I know that an organization (no matter what industry one might be in/is flawed in its traditions, conduct and behavior. Without knowing the complete story, I am certain that there are areas for improvement at SOL Nails; however, because organization imperfections exist, as employee and customer issues arise, ways to solve these problems should be sought continually. SOL Nails is not exempt from this philosophy and this is why Kim (and others) dissatisfaction should be confidentially expressed to leadership so that answers could be found to dilemmas/such as this.
My personal testimony is this: SOL Nails does a fantastic job on my eyebrows, nails and feet. I believe that they are, by far, one of the best nail companies ever! SOL Nails rates #1 in my book because when I am there, I feel as if I am the only customer there because of all the personalized attention that I receive/they even offer you a choice of beverage. I never feel rushed or question that a job performed was half done. If I ever have a concern, I am comfortable voicing it and knowing that every effort was made to have it corrected. If I preferred one nail technician over another, for example, that request was considered and acted upon. Unlike the anonymous person who posted that the environment was noisy, I find SOL Nails to have an extremely relaxing atmosphere, definitely not posh, but they get the job done/accurately, completely and affordably. To reiterate, I highly recommend SOL Nails. Take it from me/a satisfied customer. To conclude, I am thrilled that SOL Nails now have credit card capability. In the past, one had to use either cash or checks. Give SOL Nails a try and I promise that you would be glad you did!

I used to go there faithfully, until I saw how the owner treated the employees. She is very rude to them...and does not want anyone answering the phone but her. She lies to customers to get them to go to someone else, telling them their person is busy. Several times she told customers that Kim was busy and she wasn't; and she scheduled them with someone else. She kicked two people out that were the very best with nails in the salon. Yes, their prices are hard to beat for what you get, BUT, Kim has moved across the street to KT Nails by Bingo. She does all the same stuff that Sol Nails does, but it is MUCH more relaxing....and not near as noisy. I took two of my friends in there and we all received wonderful pedicures, had our feet dipped in the hot wax and had a pretty lengthy shoulder massage. They spend a long time on your legs and feet....even more than Sol Nails, which until now I thought no one could possibly spend more time...but THEY do. Try Kim at KT Nails for the very best in nails. Her number is 972-480-8083.

They do a great job. You can get your nail, pedicure, and hot rock spa on the legs, massage and hot wax on feet and hands treatment all for $50!! Sooooo relaxing. And, they DO NOT reuse the wax. They sterilize their tools and the place is clean and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend.

I've been going to SOL nails for almost 4 years. Lynn does an awesome job on my nails, and the ladies do a wonderful pedicure. Prices are CHEAP and haven't changed in years. A pedicure is $20 and includes a lengthy massage, parafin wax on your feet, and a shoulder rub. You also get a free drink when you go in as well. The massages are great, service is awesome, and once you try it, you'll keep coming back. I HIGHLY recommend this salon!

I go out of my way from N. Dallas (a good 15 min. drive) just to go here. You can't beat the price or what you get for the price. The people are very nice here and the head lady always remembers your name.
Just to clarify what someone else said- they don't reuse the parafin wax. They have a big "crock pot" of heated parafin (which is a type of wax that leaves you very soft after it is removed)....they dip your newly manicured hands or feet in this pot and take them out. They do not dip dirty hand or feet in this- in fact, your hands or feet have not touched the ground or anything that may leave them unsanitary. This is a big bonus- and anyone that is bothered by this has a choice not to do this step. The wax that is used and taken off your hands or feet it removed and thrown away and NOT reused. They also have SEPARATE buckets of wax for hands and feet, so your hands won't touch the feet wax.
You get a nice massage on your legs before you get your feet polished. For $20 per pedicure, or $25 for french pedicure. The service can't be beat.

I have been going to Sol Nails for about 5 years. Kim is my favorite person there, although everyone is so good. Details are so important to the staff there. Everything is clean too. I get a pedicure that is so relaxing. The massage is long and feels so good. At the end they dip your feet into a warm paraffin wax which makes your feet so soft....then they rub your neck and shoulders.
I love the eye brow waxing Kim does. She is very talented in leaving you with a great shape eyebrow. She also clips my nose hairs. Something I can't do as I can see only out of one eye so she is so helpful..
I recommends you tip big as they work so hard for so little. $20.00 pedicure and $8.00 eyebrow charge for the past 5 years. It has never gone up....so tip at least $8-10.00. What a bargain!-F.M. of Garland

I've been to Sol Nails about 4 or 5 times now. I have loved it every time.. enough to bring my friends and family. You can't beat the service for the price you pay. Their Spa and Stone Pedicures are wonderful for $25 and under. Add on a manicure and your out at under $40 for both. Plus you get the hot wax treatment and a shoulder massage as well after lying in the oversized heat and massage recliners. They pamper not only your feet and hands, but bring you cool drinks for a 2 hour experience that keeps me coming back for more. Since English is not the primary language, stick to the services and pick your color and sit back and enjoy. Bring a friend if you have to chat.... otherwise why not a nap.

My first and last time I will ever go there. I had my nails and a pedicure done. The pedicure I got the white tips and there were noticable mistakes on a few nails. So i had to ask her to fix them and she gave me an attitude that they were fine. I got my nails done and I asked her to make them long.. she made them short. when she was half way finished my right hand nails were way longer then my left hand to where it looks uneven. My left hand nails are soo short that they are the size of my regular nails.. Bad service.. they use a hot wax on your hand and use the same tub for everyones feet. They reuse the wax and so you dont know whos dirty or infected hands and feet could have been dipped in there. I also had called ahead of time and asked about the prices.. it was more then what a worker had told me. So they tried ripping me off

This place is great! You can get a pedicure, which includes a massage for $20! Yes, that's right $20! They are very nice there also. When you get your pedicure, they place you in a recliner and massage both legs for a long period of time with warm lotion. It's great! If you like to get pedicures in the winter, I suggest the hot stone treatments.

This place is wonderful! The service is great and everyone including me loves my nails! The place is very clean and the service is nice. They give you soft drink, sit you in a chair, give you hand/foot massage, dip your feet into paraphine wax. You will be completely relaxed! They also offer a discount for students.

I've been going to this salon for almost three years, and I've had wonderful experiences every time. I'm always pleased when I leave. Pedis are amazing, as are the shoulder/back rubs one receives at the end of a manicure. All the staff at the salon are sweet as can be and will go out of their way to make sure a customer is happy.
PROS: Wonderful service, great attention to detail, kind staff
