THAT IS SO TRUE! I am working at Sallys now and the same thing that you said occured back in 07' is still continuing now haha that shows that this company has not progressed much at all, if any. Sadly, I don't think they ever will.
My manager doesn't keep up her paper work and she is always asking other employees to do her job for her. In front of the DM, she puts on a complete front and transforms into this totally different person lol I hate it there, but because this town is so small, jobs are so scarce. I'm just doing it until I graduate college.
She also hired a new employee recently and the girl even showed up to work drunk (and yes she drank & drove to work) and the MGR didn't even say anything about her showing up to work intoxicated!

Anytime I need good advice about my hair, I can go to this store.. The staff is always available to answer any questions that I might have.. The manager at this location is extremely knowledgable about any product that I might ask about.. She is very nice as well.. I would definately recommend this store to anybody..

If your thinking of getting a job at Sally Beauty Supply please read this and think again. When I first got my interview I was thinking "This place has to ay more than min. wage" but they dont. Every Thursday I'm handed a long list passed the floor with price changes that I have to complete by Monday along with the lables. Doing all that you have to greet people and when they ask you a question you have to pretend your not doing anything and help them with there needs. Along with that theres freight every Wednesday so you have to go to the back and put the price lables on the 100 boxes to open. How does Sally expect to help the customers if your constantly working doing another task the at least takes the whole day and you have a certain time to get it finished? You have IOMs (Items of the month) and every time you sell a certain amount you get points. Not 5.00 or money but points . If you get like 9,000 points you get like a purse or something out of a book. But to get 9,000 you have to work there at least a year. There benifits are terrible and they tell you anything not to give you them. Then when I get several complaints about the manager I go to talk to the DM and she talks to me like I'm a little child. "Well I dont have proof and I cant just go by what you say " Goes to show that Sally Beauty Supply cares nothing absolutly nothing about the people they hire and their attitudes. "Well she gets the paper work done right " was said to me. Also the computers shut down at least 4 times a month and you have to call the support center and hold for 30 min. while the customer is standing in front of you watching there clock. Point blank Sally Beauty Supply is the worst place to work. Its not worth it when a company could care less about their complaints and when you complain .... they do nothing.

I love Sally's! I have recommended them to plenty of people. They have anything and everything you need to take care of your hair, nails, skin...etc. The staff at Sally's is always helpful and knowledgeable about thier products.

A great place to obtain anything to do with hair...The staff is very knowledgeable in what to use to fix any mistake. Definitly the place to go to cure a bad hair day.
