I attended this motivational speaker rally for a while being new to the area. You notice i dont call it a church because it is anything but a church. This is the ponzi scheme coming to frisco TX in the disguise of a church.PLEASE WATCH PROSPERITY GOSPEL BY DR CHOO ON YOU TUBE.This pastor and cohorts really do not understand christianity and have perverted it with money. This pastor actually said that if you dont give money i need your seat.I guess mother teresa would have to leave. She needed no money to help the leppers. The apostles would be un welcomed to because they didnt use money to preach.i never do reviews but this place is a disgrace to GOD.

I bought my house in August 2013 and was originally happy to have a church near by. Oh did THAT change!! I cannot enjoy my home because of the loud bass sounds coming from elevate life church!! It is so bad that I can hear the noise inside my home. I have been awakened at 7:54 am on Sunday mornings. The noise is on Wednesday, Thursdays, Saturdays, and on multiple times on Sundays.
I called the church to ask if they could just PLEASE turn down the sound. I was transferred to a pastor Minor's voice mail in October 2013. I never received a call. I called again, in March 17,2014 and spoke to a pleasant lady who promised to forward my concerns to pastor Minor. Again, no return phone call.
On Saturday, April 5, 2014 I went to the church to speak with someone in person. This woman was also pleasant and apologized for the noise and promised to forward my name, address and phone number to a church board member. The noise level on that day was loud, but lessened for about 1 hour after I left. Then it was business as usual. At 6:00 pm the loud bass thump, thump, thumping sound was back with a vengeance!!
It is impossible to have quiet enjoyment of my home!! The noise is so extreme that I know others are being affected and not just me.
The City of Frisco has a noise ordinance that is obviously being ignored for this church. What kind of "christians" have so little love and respect for the community around them??? The church has no more right to disturb others as any other person or group has.
Why is this being allowed to continue?. Homeowners have to suffer so this church can continue to break the law? This just shows that people or groups with money or use the name of GOD, ARE ABOVE THE LAW!!
8-17-14
Well, it's August 17, 2014 and noise continues. I have since found out that the police have issued citations to this church, but the behavior is still occurring. It is very obvious that the church pastors only care about themselves. I dread Sundays due to the noise which is almost all day. I don't think they would like to live across the street from this kind of noise!
8-29-14 update
Why would you continue a behavior over and over when the police have been called consistently about that behavior? It is a glaring commentary on the blatant disregard for the law and the neighboring communities near the "church".
elc leaders, "God is watching your behavior and you may be getting away with things now, but there will be a price to pay. True christians care about everyone and obey the law."

This is surprisingly tough to do but I have to do it. My family started with CCC back in 2007 and have seen the church grow and have also witnessed hundreds of people come and go. I'm personally responsible for inviting over 2 dozen other families that are now members. I've served with the Mighty Men, built stage props, traveled with the MM and Keith Craft to various churches only to be blinded the entire time. Before I continue I will not quote any scripture or try to sale you anything. This is only my personal opinion and the reasons why I have pulled my family from ELC.
1. Pastor Keith? - Is he? From the pictures on instagram, Facebook post, and the need for body guard, he acts nothing like a pastor or man of God. Let me ask you all this. How many real conversations have any of you had with Keith? Now before you King Builders jump in, I'm talking about you regular Joe's. Thats what I thought. Now lets talk about his message. It's always good and motivating but news flash. It should be! Keith makes hundred's of thousands of dollars teaching the cooperate world how to lead and promote growth. Funny thing is when he speaks with other celebrities or on the world stage; he's not PASTOR Keith Craft. Nope, Just Keith Craft...why? Why does ELC's pastor take off his Holy hat when he speaks to the world? Don't believe me? google it. Moving on. Let's discuss the love he has for HIMSELF! Am I the only one that finds the pictures he shares online childish and does not represent a humble man of God? I have 4 boys under the age of 15 and that behavior is exactly how I'm teaching them NOT to behave. Let me guess you don't believe me. Please check out his Keith Craft on instagram. Now ask yourself-- How many friends to do you have that act like that. Be honest. For most of you guys and gals the answer is ZERO. Sorry but a pictures of a Keith's arm, calf, or car has done nothing but push me away.
2. Money- I've been blinded just like many of you reading this. My family struggled to buy 6 chairs for the new building but we did, we've never made it to the Kingdom Builder status but have gotten close. Oh so close! Sorry God! I was told a couple years ago to check Prosperity preaching by a close friend and never did until recently. I think I refused to believe it but my friends, its not based on Jesus and what God intends for your life.

For those who love the church. I get it. I can promise you I know most of you reading this. I leave you with this. If you get anything from this post. I've been behind the scenes, I've seen financial statements, and only pray that Keith Craft wakes up one day to understand the true word of God. GOD DOESN'T OWE US ANYTHING! You cannot buy your way into heaven.

prayerfully yours,
Blinded

My thoughts on Elevate Life after attending for 3.5 years and keith craft. 1) it is Charlatan church! The apostle Paul told the Corinthians, For we are not like many, peddling the Word of God (2 Cor. 2:17, NASB). The Greek word for peddling, kapeleuo, means to make money by selling; to corrupt; to get gain by teaching divine truth. When the pastors book is promoted and sold more than the Bible you have yet another charismatic pastor peddling for dollars to pay for luxury cars, homes, trips, etc. to prove their importance 2nd) this is a church of Entitlement! Paul continually reminded the Corinthians that he was a servant: For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus sake (2 Cor. 4:5). Servanthood is the most fundamental requirement for any leader and is preached heavily in this church in a twisted way to get God's favor & Blessing. More importantly is is used as a requirement for the congregation to rise up in leadership. But if you peel back the layers, what is happening is the opposite! There are self created power structures that serve keith and his family and take advantage of peoples good hearts for Jesus. This along with allowing a leader with an out-of-control ego to demand special treatment with gifts, honorariums (disproportionate amount of money per speaking engagement often for re-used messages labled as "God gave me this word for your church") and luxury accommodations when he and his family travels or when he has his friends in his pulpit; the insistence and presence of an armor bearerbasically a power or position hungry minion at the pastors side to make him look important. News flash! Paul did not have an armor bearer, and he would have rebuked any minister who insists on acting like a fat cat.I am reminded of Ezekiel 34:2-3 this is what the sovereign Lord says: woe to you shepherds of Israel who only take care of yourselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock? You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock. 3rd) it is full of Arrogance! The apostle Paul modeled teamwork. When he went to Corinth, Thessalonica or Crete, it was not The Paul Show. He traveled with Luke, Timothy and many others. He told the Corinthians, As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker among you (2 Cor. 8:23)and Paul exhorted the church to view Titus with the same respect they showed him. In this church, the pastor is put on a pedestals and under spotlights in an overwhelming culture of preacher worship. This adoration causes one to surrender rights and responsibilities to judge what is said, to the point of complete and unquestionable obedience to the pastor. keith is like a little king moving about in his mini-kingdom, followed by his entourage (mighty men) like celebrities. To question him or them is to question God. It is common to hear things like: I love my pastor! from this congregation, instead of: I love how the Lord uses them. or "We are Warriors" but nothing is being done outside the 4 walls of ELC other than for show. These men have become emotionally attached to the point that, even when these leaders are found to be in some type of blatant sin, they continue to worship and adore them with their full allegiance. They are the opposite of Natalie Grant walking out of the Grammy's! This is not healthy! 4) it is a Wall Street Church wrought with nepotism - Somebody got the bright idea that this church should be managed like a fraudulent business with no oversight and an attitude from the top of "I do not need anyone to lead me except for God himself". Forget that the Lord created the church to be a body with many parts. So any limitation or direction coming through others is nothing but the devil. They do not see any value in fivefold leadership and equipping, because they hear from God. keith can usually be found with other rebellious friends who "think, be do" the same way birds of a feather flock together" So the pastor has become and absent CEO and a wannabe celebrity while the ministry seems built like multi-level marketing (MLM) structure with servant leaders. The congregation has become intoxicated by keith's charisma and charmed many times over the years as a result of unchecked power "My Church, My People, My Book, My Ministry" and remaining untouchable by not having time for the people, always busy, never in the office and control cloaked with the twisted word of God! As many have left there's always a whole new crop of church casualties with little understanding of God's word, faith wounds and completely disillusioned with God.

I love ELC and you will too! Don't let what negative people say stop your life from being impacted and changed.

This church has changed my life and I have been here since the beginning! No matter what this will always be my home!

It is Like a cult. All these Sheeple on here writing these glorious reviews are probably Followers of Keith and Shelia Craft. I am sure they were asked to write reviews. If you can donate a lot of money to Glorify Keith and Sheila this is the church for you. These people are about Money. They could care less about Jesus Christ. They simply use Jesus as a way to get rich. They are scamming people in their church. They just happened to find a lot of people who can't think and need to be lead. No sound doctrine. It is all about Making Keith and Shelia richer. Do these Happy Members worship Keith and Shelia or Jesus? CULT like Church and Your money is what matters. They could care less about your soul or Jesus!

We love our church. It has made us a stronger family. Pastor Keith is real, he has a big heart and is God-fidence shows! If your looking for something to learn & listen to sermons relatable to real life, then come on! Our kids (4 & 2) love the childrens ministries.
Every church is going to ask you to tithe, c'mon. Pastors are just people too, go easy on em'.

People Loving, Worship rockin', family fun kind of church!

We just completed our 3rd and last year at Elevate Life Church. My wife and I have been on different pages about ELC for a better part of the 3 years but decided to stick it given the proximity to our house. However, after asking some serious questions to the leaders at ELC about teaching and biblical truths, budgets/spending accountability and staff tenure. The result of those questions left us feeling that every leader has been programmed on how to respond to questions and the patterns are very interesting.

Here is my feedback for anyone looking to visit or join:

1) Pastor Keith is a gifted communicator & singer. He calls himself a great leader but I don't see it. He spends zero time in the office, frequently tweets his workouts in the middle of the work day, his staff turnover is very high, his messages over the last three years all are basically the same things repeated (ball of favor message, "think,be do", are old and used too much as well has his "suffocated to death" message). I will also say that a few of his top leaders/pastors have zero ministry background. So if you are looking for biblical depth...this isn't the place.

2) The church is overly interested in their public persona...even if you've followed this blog for any amount of time you'll notice the critical but truthful reviews are removed (as i'm sure this one will be too). More importantly they talk incessantly about protecting the house, honoring the pastor, reference those that are against them as if they are hiding/protecting something or working to diminish credibility of others who have left or know something.

3) I have worked in corporate american and/or owned my own business for the last 30 years and have been highly blessed. I have never seen anyone take as many vacations or personal time off as these leaders do nor anyone with as many toys as pastor keith has. Some call this "blessed" but as a business leader I question a) their commitment to the people and b) their financial discretion & transparency especially with the expansive and expensive building and the frequent building campaign fund & giving requests.

Now with that said, I will say there are great people who attend there and we have built good relationships. These tend to be with people who aren't in leadership and don't have the "programming" in place and the standard quotes. I also find that those in leadership positions have zero depth in the biblical knowledge and relationships. They seem to be so bent on "servant leading" that stopping to really get to know someone or even to pray with them is non-existent. We have noticed that in the last year or so the church has stepped up its effort for out reach especially those hit by tornadoes and hurricanes...but it comes across as look at us and what we are doing instead of this is an opportunity for the community of believers to get involved.

finally, I will say this, if you are looking to be entertained, people watch this is the place. If you are out of work, this is the place as every network marketing company is represented and you will certainly be approach to sell something (make-up, pills, drinks, potions, lotions...you name it they got it!). However, if you are looking for biblical depth, strong biblical teaching, deep faith teaching and simplicity...this isn't the place for you.

My husband and I could never support a "church" that doesn't respect the community around them. We bought our first house this year and live just across the street from Elevate Life. At first I was pleased to live so close to a church, it beats living near the ball field, right?! WRONG!!!

When the weather got nice everyone from inside scattered like cockroaches outside to have their parties. They hold special events several times a week and play music at an UNGODLY level, sometimes till 11pm on weeknights. To make myself clear, I'm not talking about beautiful church music, I'm talking about loud base hip hop style that can be heard standing in my living room with my Tv on! We can't enjoy dinner let alone our new home.

We reached out to the church and got a blanked apology and we're told they would try and keep the noise down. After weeks of this we thought our only choice was to call and file a noise complaint. Little did we know the Frisco police dept would do nothing about it. After requesting copies of the compliant logs for the church's address did I understand what fresh hell we just moved so close to. In just 6mo 37 calls from many homes on our block were placed to the Frisco PD, not one citation was written. Verbal warring after verbal warring some officers went out multiple times in one night. So if your looking for a church whom has respect and supports the community around them then STAY AWAY FROM ELEVATE LIFE!

Although I am only 16 years old, I have been in church all my life. I had always felt as if christianity was a religion that my parents had taught me to be a part of.. but after coming to Elevate Life Church my perspective had totally changed. I now own my faith & know I have a personal RELATIONSHIP with Jesus.
I have been to a lot of churches growing up, and I know when I am in a bible based teaching church or not, and THIS church is 100% based on the Word of God. This church has taught me to Equip families, Empower leaders, & most of all Elevate Jesus.... This church is full of love, Jesus, & genuine people. I have gained so much in my life from being in this amazing atmosphere!!! The worship is powerful, the message is always full of wisdom, and the servant leadership culture there is so drawing!
Pastor Keith sets a great example of when you Elevate your thinking, you elevate your life. He lives what he preaches, & his family are the fruit of the seeds he has sown. They represent the Kingdom of God in a way I have never seen before.

Their kids ministries/youth for teenagers is so incredible! Even at a young age children and teens are learning how to elevate God in their lives, and learn leadership skills. I get to serve the house of God and now understand the value of how powerful that is. Every teenager in Frisco needs to be a part of this awesome movement for young people at the student ministry there at Elevate Life.

The teachings at the church are full of the Word of God, and how to apply it to your life. Creativity explodes from this place, from the videos, to songs, to stage work, to how to serve others. It is the best place I have ever gotten the privilege to be in. This is truly a house for God. & THIS is my forever home church.

Wow! I cannot believe the generosity of this church. They really are the hands and feet of Jesus extended. A team of servant leaders (volunteers) was sent to Slidell, LA immediately following Hurricane Isaac. They brought two SEMI-TRAILER loads of water, food, generators and supplies worth over $300,000. The team stayed for close to a week distributing supplies, mucking out houses, ministering to distraught families and supporting local churches. I say "HURRAY!" to a church who generously pours resources and manpower into a hurting world.

Pastors Keith and Sheila Craft will not return phone calls or answer mail. Pastor Steve Minor will lie to you. This is a church that worships money, not Jesus. If you need help , this Church has a Member's only policy. They will give you lies and false hope, but WILL not help you unless you are a member and you have a history of giving to the Church. This Church is the Trinity Broadcasting Network Church of Frisco. Money, money, and Money is what they worship. Did Jesus ask for membership? Their Benevolence fund is for members only! It is a Joke. Are you looking for a Church home? If you worship lies and Money, this church is for you! If you really Worship Jesus and Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, then run from this church!

I attended ELC on 5/27/2012 when Danny Gokey came to perform. And that was what it was, a performance. I was shocked at how many people were taking pictures with their phones and cameras. It was not worship, it was showing off. Plus the volume of the music was so loud I could not hear myself think.

When Pastor Craft finally got to the message after talking endlessly about himself and his family, not once did he open his Bible or reference scripture in any way. He seemed to be a man off of his meds, trying to show the audience how good of a person he is. He openly mocked his wife and left her looking visibly hurt. I can understand the appeal of the church, though. It's flashy and rich, with a new cathedral and the appeal of attraction. The Bible says to care for the widows and the poor and they have done that, and they make sure that people know it. I think that it's a bit extreme to present a single mother with a new car with $20,000 inside of it for all the world and press to see. Our good works that we are compelled to do (not required) because of our faith should not be flashed about for personal praise. I feel that this is all this church knows how to do. People come though because the liveliness of the atmosphere keeps them entertained and they can say that they "go to church." As far it being welcoming and inviting, yes I felt that. My main argument is that there is no spiritual enrichment to be found here. Church should be a place where people go to learn more about God and to read the Bible. I would advise people to stay away from this Church if at all possible.

Unfortunately, there's some negative stuff said here and with SEVEN years of CCC/Elevate Life Church under my belt, I think I can clear it up, but first about me. I'm a overweight, dorky Kansas guy, single, pretty much paycheck to paycheck, no kids and overall odd duck compared to the norm, so the folks on here saying it's all "pretty and rich people" are sorta whack.

A couple down the street got me to go after a crushing breakup. That congregation loved on me, wiped away my tears and prayed with me. Gave me invites to go to events, got me in the singles group. and honestly... saved my life.

I've served there, I'm pretty typical church person... well, according to the stats, I'm better than average I hear. But while serving I got to see the behind the scenes. Conflicts handled through love and yet discipline to be better.

One day I saw Keith's daughters come running in and was in awe of their genuine love of each other. Once their son drove down my street and saw me, literally backed up and stopped and came in my garage and started bsing with me. SO the kids represent the parents, and they're amazing.

Keith talks from time to time about getting his hair transplanted and just laughs. He brings up VERY personal stuff from that stage. He's a real transparent guy. I've seen him running around town in sweats, at the sub shop with his guy friends (his circle... which validates what he says) and his wife is precious. I wish I looked as good as Keith does.

Lastly, the comment about giving money or not getting a seat... A few years ago and he was simply talking about our church being about tithing time, talent, and treasure. Not KEITH mandating it.. but what WE as the churchgoers are about. I haven't heard one person on here mention the fact that out of all the other big churches, ours is one of the smallest paid staff cause of the congregation buying in so strongly on serving God. I believe he said something like "don't just sit there in that seat and say "ohhh that's nice I feel so good". Do something!" in reference to servant leadership. Then in his jokingly tough warrior way he said "If you don't, someone else will and we'll need your seat for them, jokingly." My traditional and old blue collar factory working parents love going too (in their 70s). My dad says "Yeah... bless his heart, Keith's a really good guy. He tries so hard. He really does". And he does. This church is amazing and I love Pastor Keith, his family, and the whole church... my family of choice.

Things I've improved: Not putting up long with girls who don't subscribe to the core values I have, reading out of several bible versions and studying them online, better about putting God first, caring for my body, mind, and wellbeing, keeping my job in these tough times by working late and practicing servant leadership, being a MAN and a Warror for God, living in my means, dedicating my morning every morning with "This is the day the lord has made... I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and declairing myself precious, reading a book a month on leadership, answering the phone with "Praise the Lord", becoming a pretty decent public speaker with confidence, and self-assurance, conciously reviewing my circle of friends as necessary, remembering that the kind of woman I want is the kind of man I have to be, and learning each of the past yearly topics: Xceleration, Favor, Breakthrough, Elevate, Multiply, Celebrate... and now for 2012, Increase!!!! It's flashy, it's loud, it's smokie, and as Keith often says "If it's your first time... welcome to the church of the crazy people!". I love it and I'm thankful for everything Keith Craft, and that church is about.

Went to the worship tonight for part of their opening week celebration. The music was great. The greeters and ushers were so friendly. I took my Bible, all ready to be fed the word of God. But it turns out I didn't need it, because the guest speaker only briefly quoted 2 verses....the rest of his lengthy sermon was just his expounding his mighty human wisdom and humor on us. It was enjoyable, and I took away some lessons...but a person hungry for the word of God could have starved to death tonight.
I came home and looked on the website for when the church has Bible classes for adults. I couldnt find any. I'm not sure when/how this church studies the word of God in depth.
I have a music degree, and looked up how one could be involved with the music ministry....but the website said that the music ministry was for "young" people. I guess a middle aged geezer wouldn't look so pretty on stage, no matter how much knowledge, experience or talent they posess.
I want to return and hear Pastor Keith speak. I hate to judge too harshly on a guest speaker. Maybe Pastor Keith uses the Bible.

As soon as I drove into the parking lot, I was greeted by very joyful parking lot volunteers. When I walked in the door, the greeters were happy and helpful. The worship was dynamic, exciting and engaging. The Pastor was inspirational, thought provoking, challenging and sincere. His leadership style of teaching is unique, refreshing, and change evoking. My children's experience (according to them) was fantastic. They can't wait to go back. Overall it was two thumbs up for me and I'll continue attending. Looks like I found a home church :)

I've been attending Elevate Life Church for almost 4 years now. I must say that my wife and I are thrilled.

Our marriage is the best its ever been and I would attribute a lot of that to ELC and the transparency that Keith and Sheila Craft have as they talk to us about marriage, God and the Bible.

I've learned so much about how to be a man of God in my home and a better husband to my wife.

We've met some wonderful friends there too that have really been great for us. I believe that's helped us grow stronger in the Lord as a couple.

Our kids really love the church too. I never have to beg them to go. In fact, when it comes time for their Sunday night youth meeting, they're the first to remind me that they want to go...and that they want to be there early to hang out with the other teens there. That thrills us as parents.

Another thing I appreciate about Keith Craft and ELC is that it's taught me how to be a better businessman. In other words, the messages are relevant to my work life as well as my home life. That helps me a lot as a man.

So this church has been great for me in my marriage...with my kids in being a better parent...it's taught me how to bring God into my work week and its given me some solid friends that I can count on.

I'm very thankful for what God is doing through the Craft family and through ELC. It's been a great blessing to our lives and we'll be there for many more years to come.

What I liked: everyone seemed generally very nice. It was VERY crowded so parking lot & lobby were very difficult to maneuver. however this looks as if it will be solved with their MASSIVE & Obnoxious new building.

What I didn't like: The lack of focus on God, The inordinate focus on the pastor. Even the other pastors in the video focused on him and his muscles. The last thing was the general feel of fakeness everywhere (either everyone is very rich or very in debt, seems as if everyone has had a boob job, everyone sparkles with fake jewelry and the pastors come across as fake)

Would I go back? probably not. I'm more into a more real experience that isn't manufactured or produced.

I will start off by saying no church is perfect. Churches are created by and run by humans, who are sinners by nature. And on top of that, everyone has different desires and expectations from a church. That being said, I think the heart of a church is crucial and whether or not they are genuine in their desire for God is usually pretty evident. I will also say that people were nice to us and no one made us feel unwelcome.
All of that being said, my husband and I both hated it. I agree with Natalie, it was a pretentious fashion show of people who wanted you to notice them. The worship was more like a concert, all for show. Strobe lights, smoke and cameras flying above the audience like we were at a sporting event. The music was ok, but it was so loud that I couldn't even hear myself sing. We happened to visit on the 12th anniversary of the church and so they showed a video about its history. This basically turned out to be 20 minutes of people talking about the pastor and his wife and how great they are. Which isn't a horrible thing, but it said next to nothing about their mission in God's kingdom and what they have done, or what visions they have. Honestly, it was more about showing him in his alligator boots driving a new BMW. Then he began the message. Because it is the first of the year, the topic was on what they want in 2012. Fair enough. Except it all revolved around "increase". He basically prophesied that there would be financial gain for everyone in that room. I had a few issues with this. 1) No one in that room was lacking in finances 2) He took random scriptures (out of context) about 'increase' and called it a sermon. 3) We don't know what God's plan is. It may not be to gain wealth. He may have plans for us to be called to another line of work, one that might pay less. It just seemed like he was telling them that it's God's will for them all to get more money. There was zero substance to it at all.
I didn't go to seminary school or anything, but I'm pretty sure the bible never promises wealth. In fact, it says that God will provide you with what you need and promises no more than that.
It was just so discouraging to see what values they placed on display tonight. I have been a first time visitor to many churches and have NEVER been more turned off than I was at Elevated Life.

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I would that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I WILL SPIT YOU OUT OF MY MOUTH. Because you say, I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing, and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich, and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eyesalve to anoint your eyes, that you may see. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; be. zealous therefore, and REPENT" Revelation 3:15-19; (emphases. added).

Writing an objective review about a church is the same as trying to describe why you like a certain food: it's impossible, so why try?

I have not visited this church yet, but wanted to make a comment on the reviews. I have read many of the reviews, good and bad, and find that the negative reviews are so angry and destructive in nature, that I feel sorry for the pastor who has obviously made the wrong people mad. I think some churches fit some folks and not others, and if this is not the church for you, then you do not have to attend. I am not going to let these negative comments influence me because they are so obviously of a vengeful nature, that I can't imagine a person of a Christian heart writing them. If a true Christian felt these things, they would first try to make suggestions in a caring concerned manner, and if no changes were made, move on to a more suitable church. None of the negative slanderous comments come across as a caring Christian just trying to protect others, but as a vendictive person, set out to ruin this pastor's life. Very sad. I will still try out this church.

I have not visited this church yet, but wanted to make a comment on the reviews. I have read many of the reviews, good and bad, and find that the negative reviews are so angry and destructive in nature, that I feel sorry for the pastor who has obviously made the wrong people mad. An imperfect place for imperfect people with an admittedly imperfect Pastor worshipping and learning about their perfect God. It's real, it's authentic and it's life changing!!! Some people can't handle the truth. They want the Pastor's to pretend to be something they're not, they want to pretend themselves they are something they are not, but Elevate Life Church is real and not afraid to be real and talk about real things and that's a little too real for some. So if you want a real experience, and are willing to admit that you yourself are not perfect, and are willing to be around other imperfect people that are striving to do something great for God, then this is the place for you. If you want someplace to just sit and "play church" this might not be for you. I know it's for me!!!

Idria - Your comments amaze me. Have you ever build a decent relationship after 9, 45 minute dates. So you come sit and hear Pastor Keith for 9, 45 minute sermons and you think you know him? How would you have any idea if he is fake. How would you have any idea what the truth is about Ray Harmon moving on from Elevate Life Church. Its ridiculous that anyone would take your recommendation seriously for even a second. I hope the people in your life do not judge you after nine short meetings.

Eric G. - If you are going to make stinging remarks you could at least back them up with some substance. What exactly would you base your statements on? Its easy to sling mud and takes zero intelligence... Make an actual argument and intelligent people might actually listen to what you have to say.

No church is perfect and ELC can often come across as imperfect. In comparison it is still the best Church I can find in the Dallas area. It's very relaxed and most everyone is very accepting.

The goal is perfect, although a few people get twisted off because of their filters and they take it wrong. Give them a shot for sure, if you don't like them then just keep on looking.

I am a 24 year old married female. I love the church. I was never a church goer, but wanted to be. I just couldn't get myself to sit in a boring full hour long service. I tried Elevate life church, and I go every single Sunday. I have never been so dedicated to a church. I am reading some of the reviews, and some people seem to think the church is all about asking for money. I went to PrestonWood babtist a few times, and they ask for money just as much. I think all churches ask for money. The atmosphere is amazing. Yes, there are a lot of moms with skinny jeans, and boots. But are we really at church to see what other people are wearing and judge them? The music is fantastic, and the message is VERY powerful. I love pastor Keith. Yes, he is an attention grabber.. but hey, he grabs my attention. So he is doing his job at getting my attention and speaking the message I need to hear. It is not for everyone, it is very different from traditional churches. I do say that you should try it at least once though. Especially if you are not interested in the traditional churches.. this will probably be for you. Just try it. It could change your life, like it changed mine.

Over the past 5 yrs I have taken in the Messages, applied them and seen my life transform for the better. Spiritual Growth & personal growth are not easy. Elevate Life Church is teaching me Biblical Leadership & Growth Principals that promote Transformation. ELC is a Love Based Leadership Culture that will invite you Grow UP in Faith. Faith that Jesus Christ is LORD & Savior.

It is not a perfect place, the people there are not perfect. It is a unique church culture that is for sure, one I am proud to be a part of. it is difficult to be comfortable in this growth environment if someone is not willing to assess, then address & take steps to progress in every area of life. Jesus is LORD over every area.

You will be challenged here; in relationships, in business, in The Bible, in core values, in walking the talk, in finances, in spiritual growth, in serving and more. It is not a place to "hear" once a week.

I believe that is the primary differentiator.

I have been attending ELEVATE LIFE CHURCH for 9 Months now. I have watched my marriage change for the better, my relationships with people get stronger and my life is in a great place to be challenged and "Elevated". My husband and I are surrounded with love and support from the great family we have found here! I would suggest you come to the church for yourself to check it out- Rather than going off of other people's opinions and judgments!

People who do not like to be challenged to be better- will not like this church. This church family wants to see you grow- see you healed and see you reach the highest potential you can reach! There are many ways to be plugged in- there are so many people to get to know and so many things to come and be a part of!

CCC or now ELC is a amazing church that gives you what you need later in life. It also shows the real way that God operates. It has helped me alot. Also everybody that is bashing the church just keep it to yourself. You don't have to speak what you say becouse it is just not neccesary. Thank you and have a blessed day.

Elevate Life Church challenged me to think out of the mundane, yet doesn't get into pendulum swing extremes. I learned to greet each day with passion and appreciation instead of being self-centered and looking out for my own rights. I especially appreciate the clear use of God's word, and the openness to check out the message with scripture for myself.
As for lead pastor Keith Craft, he is transparent, and lives what he says. What initially might appear as "performance" is down home, frank, transparancy.
Check out ELC for yourself. Be prepared to have traditional thinking challenged, but be blessed by the honest truth that Jesus Christ brought!

ove this church!! I can watch the sermons online or on my iPhone. I can relate to what Pastor Keith says and love how he preaches. Child care there is great too! There will always be controversy about a church but I love this place and enjoy the fact that if I can't make it I can watch online.

I came to this church and it blew my mind. Yes, they talk about money. Yes, they talk about serving. But they also have more community outreach than I have ever seen. They were on the new recently for BUILDING A HOUSE FOR A FAMILY WITH A DAUGHTER DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER! Find another church in America that does that!

Me and my bf were new to the area and decided to try out a church. We went to their Career/College group Clarity twice. About 20 guys came up and introduced themselves to us, and not one female. I was surprised the females wouldn't even talk to me. My boyfriend called this church the "second highschool" because there were so many cliques. They asked for our e-mails 3 times, and told us they would email us all the info to their get togethers. I guess we didn't make the cut, because it's been 2 months and we haven't received any emails. I was told to add them on facebook, when I did they deleted me from their friends. It doesn't matter if we're not your picture perfect christian, shouldn't you be trying to help us not push us away? What kind of church picks and chooses and REJECTS people? Your job is to save the lost, not cradle the saved. Well, Thank you for reminding me why I don't go to church. Remember when churches had Christians in them?? Yeah me neither.

I attended CCC for a while and it really opened my eyes to a number of things. I finally learned about this "relationship" that people always talked about having with Jesus Christ and God. The church helped me understand how important of a role it is for me to ensure that my kids are in environments where they can really learn what it's like to be the hands and feet of Christ, and I started to learn so many bible stories that I had never heard before.

In the long run, it ended up not being a place where we felt comfortable. It wasn't a good fit for our family and the lifestyle that we live. I both agree and disagree with many of the comments previously posted. I too had heartache with all of the money talk. My husband has chosen a public servant profession that he absolutely loves, and we just didn't feel like we fit in with many of the families who fit into more of a corporate lifestyle and could afford to go to this event and that event that the church hosts. Sure the church might foot the bill for you, but it's extremely embarrassing to constantly be the family that can't afford to go to the fun X event or Y event.

There were two big issues that led us away from the church. The first was that there seemed to be very few opportunities for outreach, especially for the children. It seemed to us that many of the opportunities were simply to fund other groups who already had a good plan in place. The kids weren't learning what it means to get your hands dirty, or to forgo eating lunch and instead making lunch for a kid who might get his only meal that day because we made it for him. It seemed there was no talk of how to help so many who struggle with helping themselves right here in Frisco.

Second, and this was a big one for us ---- I asked if funerals are held in the main sanctuary or if Pastor Keith does them at funeral homes. The response I got at the time was that Pastor Keith "doesn't do funerals". We were looking for a church family who would be with us through the good times and the bad and I just had so much heartburn with this response. I admit that I never took the question to Pastor Keith, but the reason for that is the couple of times I did wish to speak with him it seemed almost impossible to talk to him face to face. I couldn't even email him. I know he is a very busy man and he runs several businesses, which is great because he sees the world and knows a lot about how to run a successful business - but the trade off is that he isn't around much like a pastor who doesn't have an outside job could be.

There were some other issues that we had, but I believe it was in our interpretation of some of the things we witnessed and heard. Sure we had some experiences that really rubbed us wrong, but we also had some wonderful eye-opening experiences and met some people who changed our lives. I don't wish to throw the church under the bus - and even if I did want to, it's a BIG church and I would need a really big bus! The truth of it is that CCC ?? or Elevate Life ?? works for so many people. The bottom line is that you can't know if this church is right for you or not until you go visit, get involved, and see for yourself. Just because someone else interpreted the money talk as selfish and greedy, that doesn??t mean his or her interpretation is truth. God gave us each a brain for a reason ?? my best advice is to visit as many churches as you can before you decide on a home church. And even then, I believe there is no shame in switching to a different church because you think it??s a better fit for your family because of the season you are in. If you walk away thinking, ??something just didn??t feel right? or if you just weren??t comfortable ?? then keep looking. God??s kingdom is REALLY big in north Dallas!

New to Frisco, I was seeking a diverse church. In one of the services, Pastor Craft gave an anology. He compared going to dinner at a fancy restaurant and leaving without paying for the meal to parishoners going to his church, enjoying the service and not leaving an offering. I got the impression if one wasn't able to leave an offering, don't bother attending this church. What ultimately told me that this is not the church for me is when the Pastor said, tithe net not gross. Where in the Bible does it say tithe Net vs Gross. I don't know who in America lives on gross dollars. Taxes are taken out of our paychecks before we see the money. How can someone tithe gross dollars. Total manipulation! That's what I got out of this church. On another occasion, Pastor told the congregation, if unemployed, tithe first. If unable to pay your electric bill, pay the church first. He went on say that he and his spouse lost $100,000s in the stock market, but still tithe. I left with the sense that this church is about how much money it an collect. That's really sad because I watched the faces on those attending and they really want to love the church and want the church to do good things for the community. But, with a Pastor centered on collecting money first, doing good deeds second, I don't see how this church will keep longterm church members.

Jesus is the focus, or well, i would rather say, should be the focus of any and all churches that profess Him as their Leader. However, after attending this church for the upper of 8 years, i am hard pressed to say that Jesus is the focus.

After Pentecost, the men and women that served the church and went all out for Christ, were men and women that didn't need anything else. They were content to have a relationship with Jesus and that be their fueling desire to reach out to every person they came in touch with and share with them the love and saving and redeeming power of their Lord. THey were utterly consumed by the call that Jesus commanded his followers to go and make disciples of all men. To throw off any and all restraints that are hindering them and follow Jesus in a life of servantude and love.

Now i am not writing this to spread Gossip or make rumors, but as a heartfelt plea of what is hurting the heart of God. When a man uses a plantform that is meant to bring glory to God, as a platform to promote himself, then that is idolatry. WHat is idolatry?- it is the act of putting someone, or something in the forefront of your time, giving it worth and giving it attention more than that of your Heavenly Father. Keith Craft is doing just that, putting himself and his family a platform to success. If you look at him and hear him out, he does a wonderful job of spinning the Word of God into wonderful stories and promoting himself in the process.

You might say i am wrong and I could be because i am just a man. i am faulty and have my own short comings but it is because of Jesus Christ that i am not defined by those and am made new in His image.

SO even though i believe Keith Craft is building a legacy for himself and his family, i can't tell you that is his intent because only GOd can judge the heart, however, if you have the knowledge of the HOly Spirit or just common sense, listen to it and know that any man who puts himself before and elevated above Christ is a false Prophet.

Most of all let the Holy Spirit guide and let the words of Christ be ever before your eyes. may you follow Him even if it means hardship- Jesus promised eternal life, but He didn't promise an easy one here on Earth- on the contrary He said it would hard here. But set your eyes on the eternal and most importantly upon Jesus.

Grace and Peace- Kadin

I was Born Again Along time Ago, before it was Popular I have been in many church's from coast to coast and I can tell you that CCC is for real and God is working through this church to save this country!

Pastor Keith is one of the most down to earth Pastors I have seen and of course he asks you to Tithe but what Church doesn't? He is building a place for all Gods children can come regardless of who you are!

This area of Texas is truely blessed and should be proud to have this Great Pastor part of it!

God Bless!

I am updating my review that I left approx 1 yr ago, after looking at newer reviews. It's heart-breaking that so many Christians have such a problem with "money" that they actually take the time to write about it.
This has been my home church for 8 yrs now, and never do I remember the offering being taken without being prefaced by, "This part of the service is not for visitors, so sit back & enjoy the music,...", etc. - meaning expectation is not there for visitors toparticipate at all. Members are expected to give because they understand the principle of giving - not because it is law & NO ONE is addressed or chastised for not doing so. It WAS law in the OT, AND Jesus endorsed it in Matt 23:23.

I was a Christian for many yrs before I started attending ELC, KNEW I was supposed to tithe, but battled with it. For yrs I tithed on the net, then I heard a pastor say - what is so special about Uncle Sam he gets "his" cut off the top & God gets his 10% or whatever after Uncle Sam has cleared "his" out??? Well, NO, that doesn't make sense at all!

It is amazing how when you start putting God 1st in your life - how everything changes. If any of you have listened to P. Keith for any length of time, you will remember that he teaches that God DOES NOT need our money - it's all relative! It's about our attitude & showing that HE IS SOVEREIGN in our LIVES & NOTHING else is! It's not even just money - it's putting Him first in EVERYTHING - Our TIME, TALENT & TREASURE! It is amazing how God works when you determine that you will HONOR HIM with your very 1st fruits of labor. Read Prov 3:9-10.... It's about changing OUR HEARTS & it really does draw us into closer relationship with our FATHER! <3
Do you remember God's instruction to the Israelites during their Exodus from Egypt & while they still inhabited Canaan? They were required to devote the 1st & best portion of everything - crops, livestock, silver, gold, etc. as an offering to God. In doing so, they gave GOD pre-eminence in their lives. That was PLEASING to GOD!
As with everything, God gives us a choice. 2 Cor 9:6-8 says "But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work."

Me? I WANT God's blessings, and WOW! I'm tithing my unemployment & God is seeing me through this! Not only that, He has opened the door for me incredible opportunities & give me favor like I have never known before! I Praise HIS NAME & Give HIM the GLORY! I've learned that it is SO MUCH about attitude & relationship w/HIM!

You probably don't know that ELC is one of the biggest GIVERS around! We give to other local churches building funds! That was one I had never heard of before! Yes - I can think of 2 right now -Hope Fellowship - $10k last yr & Northstar Church $10K a few mos ago. Check it out! We sent $10k to Oasis Church in Nashville to help w/flood victim relief -before it was even on the news; partnered w/Joyce Meyer & sent several thousand $'s for Haiti victim relief. Call the church if you want to know more - I'm just thinking of things. Results of our audit are on the website! We have teams of women that servant lead locally at places like the Samaritan Inn, Frisco Family Services, Frisco Resale, Victoria Gardens Nursing Home. Oh, & there are NO PRICES on items in the Master's Blends for drinks, muffins, etc. Everything is donation based & for our missionaries. And lol, and shapes, sizes & ages of men & women servant lead in the Master's Blend!
I really don't think a lot of you saw the "big picture". Maybe you came to service, but didn't take the opportunity to get plugged in. If you still haven't found a church where you are satisfied, perhaps now that you know more about us, you may want to re-visit. This is for you, too, "anonymous p." who wrote the exact same review for Covenant Church/Mike Hayes...

God Bless!

If you are looking for a church where you can grow in your relationship with the Lord - this is it! In the many years I have been a Christian, I have grown MORE in the last 7 years than the total of 27 preceding years! I have an intimacy with Christ that I never knew was possible. The teaching is fantastic. The Bible is taught in a way that it is relevant to today.

Our purpose is "Loving, Learning, & Leading". Our vision is " To establish a love-based leadership culture where people of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds can be developed to become Christ Followers and deployed to lead in all walks of life with a biblical world view."

A good friend of ours told us "give this church about a year or so, then you'll know for sure if you will stay or go". Boy, was he right on. A little over a year after we started going back in '09, we saw and experienced some wonderful things, but also some major reality checks. We realized what this church IS and what it ISN'T. Let me just sum up a whole long list of "ISN'TS" by stating the obvious......

If Pastor Keith Craft was over-weight, unattractive, and balding, his powerful words would NOT have the same affect on the congregation....that's just simply how it is.

These men get all caught up in the look and the dress and the mannerisms......and the wives do to. I'd like to see the committed attendees if Pastors Keith and Sheila lost the attractive physical perfection that they drawn the congregation all into. It was a factor that drew US in....it's a "gift" that they both have. But when you get down to the guts of the whole scene, it becomes very obvious what Elevate Life Church IS and what it ISN'T.

My husband and I have been attending CCC for a month and a half now. We had been going to Prestonwood and after dealing with the "God Show" for a couple years decided we needed to move on. After visiting many different churches over the span of a year, a co-worker of my husband recommended CCC. After our first Sunday, we were a little intimidated by all the very well built people. A lady spotted us and immediately told us about the upcoming men's conference and when we told her that we literally had $18 in our account, she said no worries, they'd take care of the $25 cost. I asked about the body-building members, and she said that the pastor was a member (may have founded, I'm not sure) of Strike Force many years ago and the congregation has taken an initiative to honor the Lord by taking care of their bodies and that's why there are several very ripped members there.

In any case, we've been back again and again and just this evening I was listening enrapt to Pastor Keith's message just in tears. His messages never fail to make me feel like I'm not just some tainted person like Prestonwood did, but rather makes clear that we've all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God, but that's why God giving His only Son for us is so incredible. He doesn't treat his wife as an ornament, but rather a part of him as Eve was to Adam.

As for the whole money thing, the first 10% tithe is standard liturgy for any church. What makes this church different is they make clear that this tithe is to be made GLADLY and if you do not give with 100% joy in your heart to be doing God's will, then they don't want it. If you disagree that tithing joyfully is God's will, you'll have to take that one up with God, because it's pretty clearly taken verbatim from the bible.

CCC's multimedia is impressive, but from what I've been told, everything, including all decorations at the church, are done by various ministries of the church by volunteers. The sound, lights, girders, videos, decorations, everything, is volunteer. I think that's truly what being a God-centered church is all about. After over a year of searching, we may have finally found our church home.

Great for young, single people who want to see and be seen. Great music and pretty people. Very motivating sermons from an entertaining pastor. Not baby-friendly if you want to take your baby into the service with you; you'll be seated at the back like a leper, and if baby utters a peep, you'll immediately be escorted out. Apparently babies take the "cool factor" down a notch.

Ed E: You're intimidated by Pastor Keith's size and by the "hot" ladies in the coffee shop? You poor little insecure man. So, in your vision of the perfect church, no one is allowed to look good or work out and take care of their body?

Anonymous P: You are a liar. Straight up. I attended CCC for years and nothing like what you described has ever happened there.

Pastor Keith has NEVER asked everyone for a minimum of $10,000. That's idiocy. There are certain levels in the building campaigns that will get your name etched in the stone, or a dedication plaque in the chapel, etc...and $10K is one of those levels...but that's just not the point. There is no minimum. Certainly he knows that everyone cannot contribute $10K. During the building campaign Sundays (once per quarter), he explains that very clearly. For you to think otherwise just shows that you have the IQ of a rock.

You state that someone on the usher/greeter team told you that Pastor Keith has a saying: "If you're not willing to give your money to the Lord's cause...we need your seat." That is either A) an outright lie or B) a remark taken seriously out of context. I suspect A). I'll tell you that Pastor Keith does indeed have a saying (well...lots of them, actually), but try this one -- I've heard it most often when he speaks about people like you: "God doesn't need your money, and neither do we."

The membership process is nothing like the twisted description you've given it. As well, no one has ever asked my income bracket. That's not part of the process.

Regarding cars, Pastor Keith has a number of nice cars. I've seen him give them away. I've also seen individuals or groups of individuals give him a car or a motorcycle. Pastor Keith has a nice income...but that comes from his other work as a corporate coach and public speaker. He also emcee's and speaks at the Get Motivated events nationwide, and has several other streams of income, none of which are church related.

Anyway...I am probably a bit ruder than most Christians. God has work left to do in me. But here's the deal...if CCC isn't right for you, or if you freak out about money because you don't have any and/or you can't put it in a proper perspective, don't leave a bunch of lies on some review board. If you have to leave a negative review, then at least just leave an honest one (you are convinced that church money is better spent on starving pygmies in New Guinea than on technology in the lobby or on a new building...but you didn't take time to investigate what mission support is being done by the church or what their mission philosophy is). Then, when you are finished ranting, move on and find what works for you.

Oh, by the way, back to Ed E: The coffee/snack bar items are not priced...they cost only what you wish to pay for them. Then, 100% of the "take" goes to support missions. Gazing at the women is free. Well...unless you feel convicted about that sort of thing. Perv.

Disgusted by you,
M.

Someone else wrote...
"Seems to always be about money and more money"
Whoever wrote this particular comment wrote the exact same thing about Covenant Church so it would be my gut to say this person has an issue with someone at both of these churches or was offended by something within the person's own self.

Per Julie Powell and my comment/opinion...
My recommendation is that you pray to God and ask him to guide you to the place he would have you be filled in his spirit.
No one but God knows what you need from him except him, you then learn and sometimes you have to move on to grow but it doesn't mean it is a bad place it was where God would have you to be at that time for however long he would have you be there. So when it is time to move on or not attend again go with a gracious loving heart knowing you grew (hopefully) and met loving people (at least one or two if you opened up your heart and allowed them into "your world" & find at least one positive thing to take with you instead of all the negativity to unload to others who may need this particular place.
I am thankful that God wants us to have nice things when we do the right thing and share positive in this crazy chaotic world. I don't have money yet but I am not offended by what others have I just know that I would rather be surrounded by successful Godly people in a church then how I grew up with people believing it was bad to be a success ~ believing God didn't want us to be successful. Love what God has blessed you with, be humble, and share with others all that God has shared.
Judging is wrong but we all sin lets just try to be a little less critical and look within ourselves because when you are critical of others it is because you see those negativities within yourself.
Church is like places to eat
You can choose one place over another to spend your money and be fed but lets face it nothing is for free except God's Unconditional Love and the gift he gave you to give to others
Nothing or No ONE is PERFECT all we can do is learn from our mistakes, grow from them and live the best life looking for the positive in all and in all situations.

I love how Celebration Covenant Church in Frisco is so leadership minded..... It is constantly pressing me to be better tomorrow than I was today... I love that leader principle that this church stands on because the bible states that once we accept Christ we are to be NEW creations... that means different than we were before we found God.... I am 26 years old and I have found it true to me that everyone disappoints you at some point in your life and that I have done the same... but I love that this church accepts me in my faults and out of love, offers guidance on how to turn every situation over to God so He can help me learn from the situation and become better from it. CCC also encourages me by letting me know that I am important to God and CAN make a difference in this world no matter how small I view myself. It really challenges my thought processes.... The bible states that God's ways are higher than our ways, His thoughts, higher than our thoughts, (Isaiah 55:9) and He knows the plans He has for us, plans to prosper and not harm us, plans to give us a hope and a future. (jeremiah 29:11)... I say that to say this,... this church is helping me to figure out how to attain the promises of God... Romans 12:2 says,.. allow God to transform you by changing the way you think (or also stated as-by the renewing of your mind) and I have found that the only way to attain this renewing/transformation is through sound biblical teaching and leadership.... CCC is a leadership culture so if you are a leader, or aspire to be one, either in your school, business, at home, or where ever, then this very well could be the place for you... but be ware... it's not for everyone because not everyone is willing to be pushed to the max of change so we can be what God has called us to be.... which is in my message earlier.... to become a NEW creations.... out with the old way of thinking, being, and doing,... to become better tomorrow than we were today... Thank you God for CCC and thank you all the people of CCC for being transparent and real!!!!

I think this is sad how judgemental you all are. If you disliked this church no need to bash it. Simply state this church was not for you. I have been going to this church for a year and a half, and not once have I heard my pastor say that our church needs the money. You should want to give to God out of your heart, and it should be an honor to give to Him. If you feel it's a hassle to give your first 10% to God... well God knows your heart... and to me that's sad. Also, our church and Pastor Keith in no way bashes our president. Our church will change your life and show you that we as God's children should glorify him more often. We do not deserve God's love.. yet he gives it to us everyday. I love my church. and I love the people in it... and there is no way that this church is about money. God has blessed our church and He will continue to bless us because we are lifting Him up and will continue to glorify Him, no matter what the circumstance is.

Going to church is not about money. If you wish to, give! If not, no-one can reach into your pocket to get your money into the offering bucket. if you choose to stop going to church for this reason, it is a shame. I happen to buy into the principle of putting God first, it just works for me. It is like an insurance policy; i am covered.
Do not bash CCC. Pastor Keith does not need your money, the guy works hard for his own money. The church is real and lots of us are crazy enough to just BELIEVE! I hope you find a church that keeps you passionate for God.

First, all these previous reviews contain a lot of false information not even worth commenting on. I would like to say that I have been at the church from the beginning and have NEVER heard Pastor Keith ask for a min of $10,000...that is hilarious. You are free to give as you wish and as far as the "application" process...it is not. It is your info like name, address, email, etc...no where on the "application" does it ask for your income or how much you will give. You never have to renew your membership...that doesn't even make sense. Pastor Keith does not need anyone's money...he has many businesses outside the church. He is a great and genuine man and am sad to hear that you couldn't see that in him. Hope you find a church that lines up with what you believe. God Bless!
