When my friends from out of state come to visit one of the places I take them to get the Texas country experience is Rudy's. No frills here - just great food! Cold beer from the trough - sit at picnic tables and eat from paper plates. Most tender brisket I have ever had!

OK, I give in. This is a very good place I'm just not a fan of the way some of their food taste. I'm a fan of pulled pork barbecue and not all the other stuff here. My family however does like the food at Rudy's. It always seems the news crews pull over at Rudy's for their stories. I'm not too impressed with the staff at Rudy's, it's like your doing them a favor by being there. Their prices are a bit over the top, a little bit too expensive. It is a favorite place to go though and I would recommend it to my friends.

Rudy's is one of the best, unknown barbecue places in Texas. From pork loin sandwiches to smoked sausage to brisket to chopped beef sandwiches, this is a place you can't ignore. All the normal sides such as cole slaw and potato salad. You've got to try the banana pudding! Eat or take out. Either way, you won't be disappointed!

Rudy's in Denton is a great place to go for one stop shopping. Grab dinner to go & fill up your gas tank at the same time! Their gas is consistently cheaper than other gas stations in the area & the BBQ is great!

It's not like a Coulter's or Spring Creek, but I've been here several times and enjoyed the food. The baked potato is good and the bbq sausage compares to some of the others. The kids working here are friendly, too (like the one in Waco) and it won't cost an arm and a leg. If you're looking for ribs or a huge meal it's probably not the place . . . but for a quick sandwich it's convenient.

The best part of this place is that they also have cheap gas. Their food is okay but not a ton of choices. They do have a great propgram when you buy 10 gallons gas you get a $1.00 coupon on their food.
