As a British Mom I have to say the school far exceeds anything I attended back home in the UK and still does.
The teachers here are excellent and hard working.
My son knew almost all his Kindergarten sight words and could read 3 levels of BOB Books before he left this school.
I have no hesitation in sending my daughter here in August.
It could do with some renovation, but that takes funding, maybe parents not happy with the situation could offer to help in some way.
This is also one of the most reasonably priced schools in The Woodlands and excellent value for money.

It is truly sad that nowadays, parents have become so superficial that they would choose to judge a school based solely on it's exterior without even bothering to research the curriculum.
As the previous poster stated, Paddington could use a bit of upkeep in some people's eyes (I personally think it has a rustic charm all its own), but it's main attraction lies in the teachers and what the children learn there. I cannot think of any other school in the Woodlands where 3 and 4yr olds can tell you about Georgia O'Keefe, Frida Kahlo, and Brahms.
My daugher's kindergarten class is taught at an accelerated first grade level, and she began learning the fundamentals of phoenetics and reading last year when she had just tuned five. If Paddington is such a horrible place because it's lacking a fresh coat of paint or two, then someone please tell me how my kindergartner is reading on a second grade level as opposed to so many of the public school kids who barely can read two and three letter words despite the fact that they are taught in "state-of-the-art" facillities?

While everyone is entitled to an opinion, it is always easiest to bash a school, person or event when you go unnamed in a public forum such as this Website. If you want to honestly know what Paddington is like take a tour and talk to parents on campus. My children have been going to Paddington for five years and I am overwhelming thankful for the education they have received. My children are happy and love every moment they spend in their classes and clubs. We love the diversity of the teachers and the children. Yes, the school is 20 years old, but they have never once tried to pass it off as a brand new school. I dont have a problem with the character of the school campus, it is what it is, and the children love it! Just like an older home, there are repairs and renovations that come up, and those have been and continue to be addressed as issues arise. I am unimpressed by those so quick to judge. If you dont like the school, go find another one. Those of us that do like the school would rather your bad attitude not be around our HAPPY children. I am trying to raise well-rounded children. Their studies of art, computers, languages, etiquette and music cannot be compared to any other preschools in the area. Regarding comments about the Gala, I as well as others leading the Gala are offended that you think we would give our money and time or ask others to give funds toward a cause that was not well-intended. I have been working on the event since its inception and funds raised have revamped the playgrounds, initiated the Music & Movement Club, purchased new Gym equipment, created a Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden and expanded classrooms. A new state-of the art nursery fund has been established and this years goal to complete the schools on-campus library. I recently took my kindergartener out of public school and sent back to Paddington for one more nurturing, confidence-building year. The teachers are wonderful, the children well-mannered and the leadership have our children as a priority. What more can you ask for? Every school has its issues, and Paddington is no different. But my children are happy and prospering, isnt that the point of pre-school?

I have been affiliated with this school for nearly 6 years now. I am very happy with this place. The children are all happy to be there, as do the parents. Every class from the nursery through to kindergarten is run with expertise and kindness. These teachers truly are here because they care about the children in their classes and want to see their students achieve as much as they possibly can. I couldn't be happier with this school.

I agree with the last review. I have known the Assistant Director for many years and can't say enough good things about her, the same goes for the Director/Owner, the Administrator who without her the school wouldn't be the same, as well as for the rest of the staff. The children at Paddington have a beautiful campus where they learn so many innovative things, they have a great loving and nurturing staff, and their academics are very advance! Our experience as well as many of my friend's have been great. I highly recommend Paddington to all families in the area.

I have had several of my children attend Paddington over the last few years and EVERYONE including the teachers and DIRECTOR have the best interest of the children at heart in their plans for the school.
After the children graduated from Paddington and went on to public school they were at the top of their class each year due to the wonderful curriculum they were taught. I especially loved the idea that the children were taught respect and proper etiquette daily the same as they were being taught at home. You don't get that in any other school!
Every school my children have attended have one or more fundraisers during the year to offset expenses--there is nothing new about this at Paddington.
I have had numerous conversations with the CO-DIRECTOR and DIRECTOR and they have always been very respectful and professional. They truly put the children FIRST!
When you drive through the safety gate onto the premises you get a feeling of being in a calm and peaceful garden. I think Paddington is a "well kept" secret in The Woodlands.

Wonderful school. I have children in this school and they are extremely happy, learning more than their friends in any other school in the area. All administrative staff has been alwas friendly, accommodating and looking after the benefit of the families and the children. We have been coming to Paddington for 5 years and never had any kind of problems.
we know the Director and she will never put money first!!!!
