Copperfield Automotive

I have found them to be honest, trustworthy and reasonable, which I can say of only one or two other auto repair shops in my nearly 50 years of owning cars. They did a 30,000 mile check-up on my Nissan for $48!!! That included an oil change, tire rotation and checking all the items required. The air filters were a little dusty, so they cleaned them and said to change them later. That saved me about $90. I am a satisfied customer and will use them again.

I've been using these guys for years and never had an issue. Once, I took my daughters car there that had a problem with the driver side window. They quoted me a price to fix but said I could probably do it for a lot less. They even told me what to do. I was able to fix it myself and saved myself a lot of money. These guys are honest and only fix what's broke.

I trust no one, but these guys are great. They are good, competent mechanics and real honest too. Its hard to imagine anyone having a problem with them. They'll get my repeat business.

I read the review by "Anonymous" and can only think that reviewer has an ax to grind or it was a bogus review. It sounds so unlike those guys, I find it hard to believe.

I've known the guys at Copperfield for years and have had my last four (4) cars serviced by them...from oil changes to A/C work to a new transmission. Those guys have been nothing but straight shooters with me and I know nothing was ever done unnecessarily. I'd recommend them without hesitation.

If you want to pay $9.95 for an oil change, get recycled oil, and get a sales pitch that rivals a timeshare, you should go to one of those "quick lube" type places.

If you don't mind paying a little more, getting quality parts and peace of mind, then these are the guys for you.

Just like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Copperfield automotive has worked on my vehicles since 1996 when the were at the other location.I did not have their phone # so I googled them and saw the post by someone who did not post their name and was a little worried. But after 12 years plus of being in business with satisfied customers I could not believe the last review.
I went to have them fix my daughters AC. My has also been giving me problems and another shop told me it was going to be expensive to fix the problem with the fresh vent door. I mentioned this to the guys and Patrick said let me see your keys. So he said that was not the problem it just needed a little freon. WOW I have been living with only rear ac for about a year and they fixed it for less than $100 and it blows cold. Take your car to them they will fix it right. Michael Young

I have brought my vehicles there for a few years now. Late last year, a neighbor had a brake job done at Copperfield Automotive on a fairly new vehicle. He was told the front rotors were worn and needed replacing. Interesting that they had never been turned and was told by Kenny the manufacturers make them too thin to be turned on modern vehicles. Not true. Well last month I had a break job done there and was told the same thing. I do know you can turn rotors at least once. When I inspected my rear rotors, I discovered they were never turned. They just replaced the pads. I feel I was cheated as I paid 700 for a complete brake job. For that money, they should have turned the rear rotors. I hear a commercial where they will do all the work I requested for 99 dollars. Additionally, I requested since the tires were off the vehicle, to do a rotation. That didn't happen either. I guess had I paid for a rotation they would have. Needless to say, do your homework and follow up.

Anybody know a honest mechanic in the copperfield area?

I have taken several of my cars to Richard and Kenny. They are always honest and reliable. I have never felt overcharged or cheated in any way. They have great communication with their customers and wonderful patience. I will continue to go to Copperfield Automotive and recommend them to anyone needing a great mechanic.

Kenny and Richard have maintained and repaired my 4 family cars for 4 years. They were recommended to me by my boss when I moved to Houston. They are honest and do great work. Twice they installed new Chrysler computers parts in my Sebring and the parts were defective, they got new parts and installed them for free. Before I bought a used car for my teenage daughter, they inspected it for me and recommended I buy it.

Good honest and reliable mechanics are hard to find. These guys are the best.

These guys are Great!! they have worked on several on my vehicles, all work has been great, fair and honest. The last was a 2000 Suburban brakes have been soft since I got it in 2001. NOW the brakes have a great feel and the emergency brake actually holds.

PROS: Recommended to my neighbors and anyone else.

I have a vehicle that is quite old and built with a lot of new technology for the 1990s. Unfortunately Ford Engineers and Mechanics are no longer around and the diagnostic systems back then only provided a general system to find the problem, but not down to the component. If you have ever had to take these vehicles to the shop the mechanic wants to replace everything in the system, knowing that he should fix the problem by doing so. The guys at Copperfield stuck with troubleshoot to the component, which is more time consuming but saved a bunch of money. I will return to these guys again and thanks for sticking with me to find the problem and get it fixed at a reasonable cost.

Richard, Patrick and Kenny are the best. They are the most honest and knowledgeable mechanics around. They've worked on my cars for over 10 years...they never cheat you, and do great work. I highly recommend Copperfield Automotive.

I highly recommend visiting Copperfield Automotive for all your automotive needs. We have had several services performed here and have always been satisfied. They are not deep pocket mechanics. They are trustworthy and honest. We had went to several places before ending up at this facility. We were quoted high prices for minimal repairs. A front end allignment was done in minutes and they even changed our oil free of charge. These guys are great. I would not go anywhere else.

Copperfield Automotive has been fixing my familys cars for years. They always fix it on time and don't overcharge. They are friendly and even though they get alot of business they remember you by name and remember your car and its unique problems.

PROS: Good location, fast repair, dependable, friendly
