Dr. Shell at Woodlands Dental partners is great
by janet m.
I called this a.m. and Dr. Shell was able to work me in for an emergency visit. I was seen soon after I arrived. The office staff was Very courteous.
I am relatively a new patient. Dr. Shell was thorough, and extremely competent. I will continue going to him for all of my dental work. Dr. Blankenship is no longer with Woodlands Dental Partners. I highly recommend Dr. Shell.

Woodlands Dental Partners is Horrendous!!!
by Carrie D.
I do not understand how this office is still in business. Aside from the dentists being unprofessional and not knowing what they are doing, the front desk staff and billing office are an absolute nightmare to deal with. Colleen, who is surprisingly a supervisor, is one of the rudest people I have ever come into contact with. I would never recommend this office to anyone. Horrible experience!!!!

Woodlands Dental Partners has terrible customer service
by FELECIA R.
I was considering becoming a patient at the Woodlands Dental Partners until I found out that McDonalds had better customer service than they did. The office manager (as she called herself) treated me like she was doing me a favor and reminded me of that fact. I have excellent dental insurance and I am sure that they would sent them a hefty bill. I am so disappointed that someone like that is in charge. DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU ARE EXPECTING GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Woodlands Dental Partners is Below Average
by Monica G.
I've had a couple of bad experiences here. First the positive is that the hygenists I've seen are extremely good at their jobs. The dentists are the problem. My family went to this office for about 5 years. My 10 year old saw an orthodontist and I was told that she was missing a permanent tooth under a baby tooth she still had. This was the FIRST thing the ortho ever said to me - yet her regular dentist never did. BIG problem to me! Second - Dr. Blankenship ordered a spacer for my daughter to help her teeth come out straight. We were told it was ready 2 weeks later. WE came back they opened the box - and there was no space retainer in there. They did ANOTHER mold and ordered ANOTHER retainer. Four weeks passed and I hadn't gotten a phone call so I called them and it was there they just hadn't gotten back to us. We made an appointment, went in and the spacer did not fit! Then Dr. Blankenship says, well she doesn't really need it now anyway, the tooth is on it's way out just fine. THEN they tell me I have to pay for it! This caused a HUGE disagreement. They thought I should pay for someone that was made for my daughter's tooth regardless of the fact that she was now unable to use it. I don't have much faith in their abaility to do more than clean teeth here so if you need work done - go somewhere else!!

Request for another dentist
by Miriam B.
Dr. Blankenship saw me before and told me I have a dental abscess and needs a root canal, but had to have a crown removed and replaced and would cost at least $1,000. I did not get a good feeling that he knew what he was doing, so I requested another dentist. Dr. Shell from the same clinic drilled a small hole through the tooth and drained the abscess, pain-free and cost much less.too.

Don't go to Dr. Blankenship
by Heather M.
My husband and I both saw Beau Blankenship for a check-up. We were shocked when my husband was told he had 14 cavities. I have never had a cavity, and I was told I had 3. Being that I "only" had 3, I decided to get the work done with Blankenship. The fillings are not smooth at all, and I have a lot of sensitivity now. My husband went to his dentist back home in SC over the weekend. The Dr. took 3 sets of x-rays, trying to find these 14 cavities. He found 3 and said they were very tiny. We are so glad we didnt trust him with 14 cavities! Beau Blankenship is a crook, not to mention a jerk to his assistant. Stay away!
