Lizard Lounge

I went here once a few weeks ago, and I did have a great time. It's decent. I felt like the staff or the people running it were unavailable should you need anything or have any questions (or God-forbid have an emergency of some kind). I could only imagine if anyone got hurt and needed anything, because the staff seemed very unavailable. I also didn't want to have any alcohol, but they do not serve anything other than alcoholic beverages and bottled water, which I'm sure is normal for a nightclub, but a Coke would have been nice. Sound quality isn't perfect (although it is plenty loud), and the visualizations on the screen are pretty lame in quality. Good thing is that they allow minors inside too. I'm 21 now, but my friends aren't yet so it worked out. If you are interested in going, check it out for sure. You may really want to come back, and you may not. Hard to say.

We fall into the older crowd (at one show we ran into friends of my stepdaughter) but still enjoy catching the occasional special event at Lizard Lounge. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for -- buying $50 at the door VIP tickets to see Paul Oakenfold a few years ago got us access to the much less crowded rooftop patio and its bar, along with an excellent view of the show. Inside it's usually a bit smoky for my taste, but that's the nature of nightclubs.

PROS: Great opportunities to see artists in a smaller setting.
CONS: Smoky, parking lot is kinda dicey.

I had a good time here, but I was out of my element. Noisy and crowded-well, it was a Friday night-the Lizard Lounge, though fun, caters to the younger and hipper than me.

This is one of the smaller clubs in Dallas, the atmosphere is okay. I went on a Friday and Saturday night here when it was mostly asian people hosting their event there. Cover charge was $10. Overall its a nice club for it being a small club. The DJs they brought in was somewhat known in the asian crowd that was there. Drinks cost the same just like any other club you go to.

Expensive and loud! but its nice setup. It looks like an old vampire pub. Its techno music, and costs $15-$20. Live DJ's from around the world. so i would say its worth it
