A legend in dining. Kuby's family came from Germany and still operate restaurant. Lunch is very busy. I enjoy breakfast on the weekends. My favorite dish is the King Ludwig a German twist on the traditional Eggs Benedict. Also order a side of potato pancakes. They are served with applesauce and sour cream to suit your taste. Delicious! Take time to browse the deli for meats that can not be beat, deli salads to die for and the shelves of the little grocery store are stocked with European delights. Enjoy!

Kuby's is the absolute best authentic German food in Dallas! It's a legend among those who appreciate real German cuisine. There are even deli and general grocery items and authentic German candies which cannot be found elsewhere in Dallas and the restaurant is awesome for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Family atmosphere is comfortable for everyone. They're always busy despite the fact that I can't find a sign outside which says that it's Kuby's restaurant. They obviously don't need a sign. Be prepared to wait but know that you'll be glad you went.

Kubys is a fun little shop/market with German and other imported specialties. You can also get an authentic German meal here, but come early or late as the place is small and very, very busy at lunchtime. The best time to go here - both to shop and eat is around the Christmas holidays. I was disappointed that they didn't serve gluhwein at Christmas, but they do have it in the shop.

This is a cozy German market carrying fresh meats and vegetables as well as a wide selection of (mostly North) European sweets and snacks. Authentic German sausage available here. You can also find European soaps, lotions, and shampoos, and German magazines for sale. Adjoining restaurant is recommended also. Currently in the process of a major exterior remodelling.
