I'm rating four stars instead of five because it could use more stores. This isn't a big city mall but for this town it's great. There's two nutrition stores, a pet store, speciality shops and a few more. It really could use more stores but if you're tired of Walmart check out the Cleburne Mall.
I went there a week ago and the reviews people are giving are TOTALLY out of date! Now they have a Claires and I think it is Belles. It is a little empty but a fun place to go for a mall day! I love thi sone store there with there jewelery and purses! I say it is a fun place to go!
The nolan river mall is just a fail.
It used to be fun and a cool place to hang out, but now you walk in look around then leave.
there's nothing really to look at.
Teenagers like claires, but i also hear about how easy it is to steal from there :/
Im afaid to use the bathrooms,
they look repulsive.
Its awkwardly quiet.
The only true reason i ever go there is to get a hair cut.
If they had more up-to-date stores then it would be more fun.
Instead of all the old people stores.
If your looking for a gift for your grandmother or mom,
Over the last 10 years I have gone in this mall a few times. It has such potential but just a mess.
I don't know if it is the lease prices that run people out of the lack of customers.
Most people only went for JC Penny's & Bealls... But JC Pennys has been a while, replaced by Goody's which is also now gone.
One day there is a dollar store, the next time it is gone.
The best purpose it has is for walkers in the morning who get exercise inside a building.
I know one of the old maintenance guys personally and he gave me some insight on the running of the mall. What disturbed me the most is a previous maintenance man was going into the stores after hours (he had keys) and was stealing merchandise. Disgusting.
They really should do background on the workers.
They should lower rates to attract more business to the mall which would bring more shoppers.
It is kind of run down but could be so great. Nothing lasts long.
just moved to cleburne 2 weeks ago and i visited the mall I was impressed with a few of the stores there accents was very nice to browse I found a very cute store that sold nostalgic items the people were very friendly and there prices very affordable i love oasis trading I will go there anytime i need a special gift or i need to add to my elvis collection. the main draw back is the pet store the smell on that end of the mall is horrible you would think with all the complaints something could be done. those poor animals laying in there own waste is horrid. I will still go too the mall but will definalty stay away from the end with the pet store.
Shouldn't the name be The Nolan River Hall? There is really not much there. I would say that Accents is the only reason for going to the mall/hall. And the main reason for not going would be the lovely Pet Store. Really guys, you could probably attract more stores if you would just have them leave. Competely unsanitary.
I remember going to the mall with my grandmother from a very early age. It used to be exciting then but now, the most exciting thing going on is the people that do their daily exercise routine. It's soo dead. It needs lights and music and can somebody please water the poor plants. Maybe people don't go there any more in fear of damaging a tire while the drive through the parking lot full of potholes. That's it!!! Water the plants, re-pave the parking lot, add some lights and music and the people will come. Oh, and please tell the pet shop to use some air freshner. That place hasn't been properly cleaned since 1985.
The people who are trying to make a living and give the residence of Cleburne another place besides walmart to go are not the ones at fault. The owners of the mall do nothing to help fix problems that are a concern they have no time to come down from there corporate offices to do anything all they care about is money and the mall can crumble around the people who try..but the people of Cleburne are also to blame because they do not help support there own mall. come on people there are enough people in cleburne that together we could make the mall great.. it has goodys, bealls and burks that off great deals on nice cloths. we has a new clothes store La Patrica open 2years ago and most of the town doesn't even know.. they have misses and juniors clothes that you cant find at walmart for affordable prices...there's a pets store, gnc for all your vitamin needs, accents a very nice home decor shop with very reasonable prices, then you have hibbits the sports authority. and christies who have very nice lady's accessories for very good prices. theres a nice embroidery shop lil bit of this and that and thats exactly what they have a lil bit of everything very nice people with very reasonable prices. oasis trading company. they have lucy, elvis marlyn and betty boop items , nascar and leather coats and purses all reasonably priced. theres an art store and even martial arts. there is something for everyone in this mall. so come on cleburne the people in the mall care about you so why not stand behind them and at least come out and see what new...just because the owner of the mall doesn't care about cleburne or the tenants we have to look out for each other help bring our mall back.

I just moved here about 9 months ago and have not stepped foot into the mall until yesterday. It looked so small I didn't think it would be worth my time. Wow was I wrong! While, yes, it is small, it has just enough stores to browse and enjoy. And I didn't make it into the bathrooms to see what the other reviewer was complaining about because I was too busy shopping all the great deals! They have great sales in all the main stores, in the little home decor stores they are not as expensive as I would have imagined and gave me tons of home decorating ideas! And the little boutique shops with embroidering and cute little gifts...well...let me just say I will definitely be doing my Christmas shopping there! I plan to go back now any time I need to find something at a reasonable price! I've been shopping all over for winter clothes for the kids...now I know I can go to one place and find everything I need, between Goody's, Bealls, and Burkes, and all their sales, I only have to go to one place now! On a side note...it did kind of smell, and it wasn't very nice...but who cares when I'm saving half the price of even Wal-mart clothes! :)
I loved it!

Falls short, that is. I am always amazed by how this mall has stayed open for so long. Shops come and go, opens and closes. I guess us Cleburne residents should be thankful that we at least have a nearby mall in town, but it's so disappointing, it's actually embarrassing.
I would never recommend this mall to anyone. If someone asks me if we have a mall in town, I would always laugh and shrug their comment off in hopes they won't ask me the question again. Truth of the matter is... It's not a mall, but a place where businesses are short-lived.
Yes, here is a mall that fails terribly. My Hopes? Build us a better mall~
PROS: Sorry. Can't think of one.
CONS: Businesses Come & Go, Too Small, Not Enough Business
