Amaz For Hair

Six years ago I asked three people within a month's time who cut their hair. All three folks had the most beautiful haircuts. They all said Ava Hastey. That is how I found her. In the six years I have been going to Ava I have not been disappointed.
In addition to being terrific at what she does, she is a wonderful person. I look forward to my visits and always feel refreshed when I leave. I cannot say enough great things about her. I can only say, go and enjoy.

Amaz is a rare treat. From the moment you walk in, you can sense it's time to unwind, relax and have some fun. Everyone makes an effort to assure a pleasing, easy and special experience. Ava is the anchor and inspiration for all of it. Her warmth and wit are icing on the cake of a perfect cut or color. She is a special treat I give myself because not only do I walk out with beautiful hair, I feel better in every way.

Ava Hastey knows hair. She has an artist's eye, and creates each cut to suit the individual. This became obvious to me during a salon party attended by many of her clients. Each woman had a completely different cut....and everyone looked chic and fantastic. I've been going to Ava for years, and always leave her salon feeling pampered and happy....not to mention considerably better looking than when I arrive! Last week's cut was the best ever. And not only is Ava wonderfully talented, but her wit and humor are infectious, making visits to her salon an addictive pleasure. Ava's clientele is extremely loyal for a reason!

No other salons can hold a candle to Amaz, or to Ava where it regards hair artistry and attention to detail. Ava transformed my fine, fly-away hair into a work of art from the moment of my wedding 25 years ago, to last week, when I left her salon with sass and movement in my new cut this month.

She is a jewel in Austin and recognized talent among many in the Austin arts scene. If that's not enough, the women's got SOUL! To walk into her salon, is to enter a caring group of professionals, who are attending to each client to the best of their abilities, in each moment of their day.

Deklynd Channing is AWESOME!!! I've been in Austin now for four years and have gone to many colorists in search of "the perfect blonde." I've brought in pictures and descibed in detail exactly what I want, and have never left happy. . . UNTIL NOW!!! Deklynd nailed it without any pictures, just listening to a short description of what I wanted. He gave me a beautiful bright pearly ash blonde with NO YELLOW! He also gave me the most perfectly placed lowlights of the perfect shade to add beautiful dimension. He is truely an artist and is wonderful at his job. I'm not easy to please when it comes to my hair, but I am at complete ease in his chair and trust him 100% !!!
