Kinkaid School is definitely in the top private schools in Houston but to say it's the best is untrue. Marie B. - I'm sorry to burst your bubble but your facts are utterly misleading. What is dissapointing about St. Johns students? SJS is by far the most challenging and well respected school nationally and locally. Check out your facts before posting lies.

Kinkaid is the best private school in Houston, more students are accepted to Ivy league schools upon graduation than any other school in Houston. Very disappointing to hear about St. John students and the colleges they are accepted to. If you have a high IQ and a strong work ethic this is the school for your child.

It's not St. John's, but your children will receive world class instruction as well as an array of after school activities while here. The instructors are good as well since it's an honor to teach at the higher private instiutions in the city. If you live in Memorial, then you should definitely consider it.

This school has the best middle school in Houston. The high school is in the top 2. This school offers many opportunities and focuses on well-rounded, balanced students instead of only academic achievement. Students have the opportunity to participate in sports, fine arts, and travel abroad. It is hard to get into but try the entry grades 6 and 9 for your best chance.

Although academically not the best, Kinkaid is definitely one of the top private schools in Houston. Kinkaid has state of the art equipment and facilities, and has programs or organizations to cover the ambitions of every student. Unlike most private schools, Kinkaid high school students no longer have to wear uniforms. Kinkaid is full of talented faculty and spirited students, and is definitely an educational institution worth looking into.
