I was very disappointed! DO NOT! NEVER TO BUY PUPPIES AT TRADERS VILLAGE. I bought a 2 months old yorkshire terrier on SAT and the next day the puppy was vomiting and having diarrhea. I went to the vet and found out the puppy is parvo positive. I had to spent over $ 200 for the treatments and the doctor recommended to hospitalize the puppy which will cost $ 300 per one night but I wanted to speak with the seller about the situation first. The seller completely denied the fact that the puppy is parvo and blaming me for not feeding the right food for puppy which had caused diarrhea. The selller told me some doctors will give unnecessary treatments to pets to make some money. I am not a doctor so I have to believe what the doctor says. I asked the seller if I could get the puppy hospitalized and get all the treatments from the vet I chose (and closest one from where I live). The seller disagreed and suggested that they will take the puppy away until the puppy is fully recovered at their clinic which is about 40 mins away from where I live. I got a full refund on the puppy but I didn't get any credits back for the cost I had to spend at the hospital because the seller keep arguing to me about the puppy's condition and telling me it is my fault that I didn't go to their* vet.
THEY ARE NOT LEGITIMATE!

Traders village is not all that bad.. yes its a lot of knock offs but what do you expect to get at a flea market ppl!!! I mean you get what you pay for.. and certain things your looking for is just not worth going to the village to look for. But if you just looking to get out the house. Its somewhere to go, where you mite find a good deal! Again depending on what your looking for!!!!!

This is a puppy mill store front! We bought a Saint Bernard puppy there three years ago for $$$. He was obviously in a cage way to small for him. Since then, he has shown serious, very expensive INHERITED allergies and skin conditions, ... NO good breeder would breed and sell a Saint with genetic eczema in the line. I loved my dog, but he was so sick he finally had to be put down. I feel like these poor, profit driven breeders killed our dog and caused my family a lot of sadness.

I am so tired of seeing people say bad things about the breeders at traders village. 1 if you are going to buy a dog ANYWHERE you should research who and what your buying. I got 2 dogs from Traders Village and actually had my siberian huskey bred especially for us from a breeder that we met at traders village. That dog was AMAZING!!! beautiful and resonably priced and i bought my 2nd dog a minature fox terrier from the same people and again great dog both lived to be over 10yrs old!!! So I think its a great place to buy a dog you just have to do your research and ask questions and get facts just like anywhere!!!! Just bc a dog isnt thousands of dollars doesnt make it a bad dog!! And i have got a dog from the shelter my very first dog and it died 2 weeks later bc it had distemper which is easily avoided with proper shot and that was from a shelter.

We bought a puppy at the small paws kennel about 2 weeks ago. Within a day she was showing signs of Kennel cough and running a fever. I would not advise any one to buy animals from this kennel. They are rude at the store and obviously do not care about the animals that are there. I am currently looking for another dog and will never do business with them again. Thankfully my puppy got better but the paper that had the vet info on it had to be fraudulent because I know that her temp was higher than what they were saying it was and if a vet did not hear the wheezing then he was deaf.

We bought a cockapoo from lee and cindys at traders village and she came with a 1 year health and she has been very healthy and is the sweetest dog very loving. she is now 2 years old. I went back to the village in the summer and they were the only ones that had a A/C on their puppies.

Both this location and the one in Houston have sick pets. It is so sad. I purchased a mini cockapoo and within 6 days, I had to rush her to the ER. She ended up going into cardiac arrest due to low blood sugar cause by an intestinal microscopic parasite called Giardia. I was given a certificate of health for the puppy when I purchased her. When I contacted the breeder, he insisted that it was my fault and was very rude. The ER I went to told me that they see numerous animals from Traders Village every week and a majority of them don't live. They are being bred and raised in horrible conditions! Now I am stuck with a $1,700 vet bill!

We bought a dog from Small Paw Kennels and took him to the vet within 4 days of getting him. He was very lethargic and not eating and turns out he has Kennel cough. I would not recommend buying a pet from these people. I would not count on the paper they give you stating that your dog has been given his shots except for the rabies shot.

everything here is complete junk. not only that, but the area they keep the poor animals they sell is horrid. the conditions are disgusting and the animals are 99.9% of the time sick. to the poster underneath me, those dogs all come from backyard breeders and puppy mills. that is exactly why your dog was sick. they breed them to make money and could care less about their well being from the day they are born. that is awful that it happened to you, but to anyone else out there, avoid the puppy shop as well as any other pet shop that sells dogs/cats/animals.

My family and I went to Trader's Village. We had a nice time, we found some great bargains. We purchased a couple of western belts with our name on them. I purchased some character purses, baseball caps, etc..
I would suggest to other people.Watch who you are buying from, just look around first. Don't just buy the first thing you see. Make sure you bargain with them.

We went to trader's village and bought a puppy from the small pet kennels. The contract said if the puppy gets sick within 7 days of buying them, they would replace her. My puppy got sick within the seven days, I called the owner of the kennel several times, which in turn (of course) didn't answer. I guess I wouldn't answer the phone if I ran a shady business either! They said they are not liable for the vet fees. You would have to wait til the kennel reopens.......which was a few days from then and take her in. How could you expect me not to take my sick puppy to the vet if she was coughing and gagging nonstop?! They said if they can't "replace" the puppy within 30 days, then I could get my money back. Money is not a factor in this.......it is the fact that they treat the puppies as possessions and not a living being. How many times can you replace a dog like a broken item from walmart and expect the customer to be happy and still sleep at night? I've already gotten attached to the puppy and it breaks my heart that they think that they can just "replace" her without any remorse. I would NEVER recommend this pet kennel to anyone and suggest taking your business elsewhere.

I had heard of Trader's Village so we decided to try it out. It is a large swap meet/flea market place. I didn't feel comfortable there and most things were very cheap items that were overpriced. There were used clothes at some booths and some no name electronics at another booth. I didn't see much of interest. There is plenty of parking but the traffic was horrible.

If you want something, Traders Village has it. Thing is, you will have to walk forever and look at many different places in Traders Village to find it. They do sell pets, but I would not recommend buying them. The snakes and other reptiles are normally bought from importers, and the people that sold them to them, normally catch them wild. They don't make for good pets. The dogs, normally come from puppy mills, and that in itself, is not good. But I have found some awesome stuff there, thats cheap too! I found a 3DO game that I always wanted, STILL IN THE WRAPPING! It is a great place pretty much, and I do recommend going, just not BUYING your pets there.

I was told the Trader's Village Flea Market was great place to get good deals. It is an open air market that is just mainly junk. It is cheap knock off items, posters and gargage sale type items. There are a lot of hispanic dealers and it seems to be leaning more to cater to that demographic. I was not impressed at all and think you can find better deals on that stuff at the dollar store. I would not recommend it to anyone unless you are looking for cheap knock off items.

20, 15, even 10 years ago Traders Village was an amazing Outdoor Flea Market where you could find Antiques Galore.

Over the past 7 years it has really taken a nosedive. The majority of the Dealers out there now sell cheap dimestore trinkets and junk. There are name brand knockoffs galore and knives and taser guns to boot!

I wish the Antique Dealers hadn't left because years ago this was a truly unique place worthy of a full day of exploring.

PROS:
CONS: Booth after Booth of Knockoffs and Cheap Dollar/Dime Store Items

This is the biggest flea market I have ever been too. It is 106 acres and has all different kinds of things from handmade items, to homemade items, plants, novelty, food, clothes. Anything and everything you can think of is here. A very nice place to take your family and get away for the day and have fun.

Other than fighting with the outside elements this is a great place to find a bargain. They have everything. New items and used items can be found throughout the market. During the summer it is very hot out there, but you can cool off in some of the inside stores. Beat the heat and find some great deals. Most of the stores are outside so be prepared with sunblock and cool drinks. It is cheap to get in and easy to spend money on bargain items.

Traders Village is a great place to go on the weekends. They have anything you can imagine. There are temporary vendors which may sell anything, but may only be there one or 2 weekends. There are permanant vendors also. Most who's stores are under covered buildings. In the summer, it can get really hot, and you may not want to walk around in the heat all day, but they provide many restaurants with food and drinks to cool you down.

You can pretty much find anything out here. Not only that, but you can usually talk the dealer down in price. The dealers arent the only good thing about traders village though. I also enjoyed the food. They had a lot to choose from and it was priced pretty cheap.

Traders Village is a large open air flea market with 1,800 indoor and outdoor vendors on over 100 acres. Traders Village is open every Saturday and Sunday from 8am to dusk all year long. They offer carnival rides for the kids so bring them out as well. You can find just about everything here. There are a lot of permanent vendors set up selling new merchandise. The majority of them sell used merchandise though. Traders Village also has special events such as car shows, cook-offs, and contests. You can also have a one-time garage sale here.

I love going to Traders Village, it is really big and has almost everything you can think of! The only thing i do not like is that it is all so out in the open, for the summer season it is hard to get motivated to go, there arent many places you can go to get out of the sun, and when you can, those places are way over crowded!
